Great safari experience
A great safari experience with African Sermon Safaris! Communication ahead of the safari were seamless, all my requests were taken into account and the necessary info provided ahead of the trip. The pick up at Namanga border (coming from TZ) went timely and smoothly, the car was comfortable and felt safe. The lodges were suitable for this kind of trip, with a great view of the Kilimandjaro from the first lodge at Amboseli and an amazing experience watching wild game bathe in the pond from the second one at Tsavo West. Importantly I had a great time with my driver guide Peter, who is very knowledgeable about wildlife and flora, knows the best routes, drives safely and is an agreeable travel companion. In would recommend this agency

Rashid was our driver in safari in Ngorongoro . He is an excellent person with many many knowing about all the wild animals!!! We are very lucky because we could saw all the animals because Rashid know all the way from animals

Great safari to Masai Mara with a perfect organization and perfect driver
Very good and quick Chat by email in advance; all questions were answered properly. Very good organization throughout the Safari. Our Driver John did a perfect Job: very carefully in driving due to rainy season and excellent guide in the wildlife. Accommodation in the tent was Basic but ok and clean; Food provided good. All day game drives were perfect with a petty picnic in the middle of Masai mara.

It does not take long to realize most operators offer a similar set of itineraries so I will not be giving a review on the National Parks or the Gorilla/Chimpanzee trekking part as this is more about why I would recommend Uganda Family tours above the other operators.
I first wanted to go with a company owned and run by locals, as opposed to an outsider/multinational company, so Uganda receives as much of our fees as possible. You will take so much from Uganda in unforgettable memories that it is only fair that it is Uganda who gets your money.
There are also some benefits of having a local operator as they provide the focus you want on their region and not just having the financial gain in mind. From start to finish, we interacted with 3 members of the Uganda Family Tours (Jackson, Living, and Johnatan), and each one of them displayed great pride in their country and what it has to offer.
Jackson is the founder with whom I interacted during the booking process. He was very professional, patient, and detailed from the beginning when there was some confusion from my bank on the final payment. Jackson was quick to help and provide peace of mind in a process that I always feel a bit nervous about (international wiring). Also, I had some last-minute changes to our itinerary (including adding one member), and without hesitation, Jackson provided solutions right away.
Jackson created a perfect itinerary for us and made sure all accommodations and activities were as we expected.
Living was our guide and we had Johnathan as an apprentice as well. Living is an experienced guide with great energy and knowledge of the different aspects of Uganda. He loves his country and it was great to see that he is still truly amazed by its landscapes, fauna, and people; His energy is contagious. His knowledge of the parks was at times the reason we were able to witness closely some of the wildlife and to optimize our time.
Johnathan was a friendly addition to our tour and a very helpful young man with a great desire to learn. We will see how he will become a top Guide in Uganda.
