The team at Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours ensured that we had a the best possible experience.
I can’t talk highly enough about the Zambezi Expedition Team, the itinerary was so well communicated we knew exactly what we would be doing each day. From the moment we arrived the Zambezi Expedition team had everything sorted so that we had a wonderful holiday that we will never forget. We were met at the airport by Francis who was so courteous and helpful. When we arrived at the hotel which was really great and very welcoming. Silence came to ensure that we were settled in and explained the itinerary so we were fully prepared for the safari’s and fabulous river cruise. We were privileged to see elephants, zebras, hippos, ostriches, and many other animals close up living in there own environment all of the guides were so knowledgeable and explained about the conservation of these beautiful animals. The highlight among so many was for us seeing the lions up close watching them interact with each other.
This trip was the best value for money that we have ever spent and we can’t thank the wonderful team enough for providing us with so many amazing memories that we will treasure.

Seasoned guide
Before the tour even began Eric made sure we were sent a detailed itinerary including accommodation and day to day activities. The 2 accommodations we stayed at were AMAZING, I was worried about the camp but honestly it’s more like Glamping than your regular foot on dirt type of tenting.
Champion our guide knows the various parks so well. He also knows a lot about the different animals and can identify them at a glance. It’s pretty impressive. With Champions keen eye we saw most of the big animals on the first few days even the ones hidden in the trees.

Amazing and fantastic.
This was my first safari and let me tell you it won't be the last. The driver was so accommodating reliable and friendly. On time to pick us up and guiding us through our day event. Wonderful. The driver if I remember the name we called him champion. he was excellent. I hope every driver will play the same fairness with their safarian. My conclusion is if you do have a good driver like the one we have had then for sure your safari tour will be a délice.

Amazing safari with our guide Champion
Champion (our guide) came to pick us up at our hotel in Arusha and drove us all the way to our first safari stop. The drive was quite long but the car was equipped with charging ports and drinks! Champion answered all the questions we had and made sure we were good. He even dropped us to the airport after our safari which is a service we greatly appreciated. Each day champion took us out on the game drive and pointed out the different animals and he was also able to answer many questions about them so we learned a lot. He even asked us what animals we were hoping to see each day and made a visible effort to find each animal so we were able to see all the animals we had hoped to see. The accommodation they put us in was also really nice 10/10. The lodge was incredible with good food, WiFi, swimming pool and large rooms. The tents were well set up, clean, comfortable and have WiFi. Overall I’d recommend Serengeti smile to my friends and family who are hoping to go on a safari!
The tour was well organised and Champion was and excel·lent guide and driver.
It was a 5 day great safari with a great variety of animals Champion our driver took us to see all sort of wild life we saw most of the great five and a brunch of other animals and flora from africa.
The accommodation at the life he was amazing with lovely rooms, swimming pool and great food.
The camp in the serengeti a great experience the team there were great.

We saw lots of lion’s even baby cubs. We witnessed cheeta’s hunt.
Lots of elefants and girafes.
the numbers of herbívors was amazing.
The driver was great at finding animals we even saw a cocodrile in the serengeti as well as hipopotamus. The variety of landscape give us the opportunity to see hienas eating.

5 Star Experience & Great Guides
We went on the 5 day safari with Serengeti Smile and it exceeded all of our expectations.
We visited 4 national parks: Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Champion was very knowledgeable about all of the different animals and knew how/where to find all of the animals we wanted to see. Saw countless elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, rhinos, cheetahs, gazelle, wilder beasts, all types of birds, etc. Champion was also very hospitable he was very respectful to our wishes to stop, stay longer, or any other requests we made.
The lodges we stayed at were all 5 stars with excellent food and hospitable staff.
Everything was on schedule and we didn’t have any issues.
Overall amazing experience everything was 10/10.
Amazing
Had a lovely time on our tour with our guide champion. Visited Tarangire, southern Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake mayenara. Manger to see a great range of wild life across the 5 parks worth every penny.

An amazing, safe and exciting adventure for a family of four
We love Fiona.... honestly, booking with Inspired Feet Safaris was the best decision we made.
I am not going to lie... we were really nervous about booking a safari in Kenya online - you hear so many bad stories about getting conned so my husband and I did a lot of research to make sure that Inspired Feet Safaris was ligit. The communication with Fiona was perfect and after booking and finding out that our flight had changed so that we were landing a day later, Fiona was happy to move the safari to another date and it was no problem at all.
We have two boys (12 and 9) so our main priority was for the trip to be safe and Fiona made sure it was. Our transport was lovely and the first morning we went to her office (the famous sofa that you see on their instagram) and we went through everything. She was so lovely and even walked us to the supermarket to get some snacks for our journey (being spot on with her crisps recommendation).
Our trip to Masai Mara was smooth. We swapped drivers halfway (which was explained beforehand) and this is where we met the legend that is Laurence. From there we made our way into our Sopa Lodge and did our sunset safari.
Honestly, Laurence went above and beyond (literally all while in his Landcruiser) for us to see animals and the finale for that night was a cheetah. Laurence knew so much about the animals and we learnt so much. He was great with the boys as well and would test the boys knowledge during the safari to see how much they remembered - this was so great and the boys loved telling us what they knew (what a way to be taught about animals!!!)
The next morning was our full day safari and all four of us loved every minute of it. I don't want to give too much away but we ended the day covered in dust, exhausted and recounting the adventure to one another over dinner while laughing. The staff at Sopa Lodge were also amazing - they were so good with the boys and made us feel so special.
The next morning we went to visit the Masai Mara Village and meet the Buffalo tribe. The boys loved this and wanted to stay the night and the Masai Mara people were so great with the kids and we bought some things from their market and thoroughly enjoyed the fun bartering (they actually started with this sentence "This is our price... just ignore it... it is too high and we will definitely go lower!!!" lol).
After this we said goodbye to our fabulous Laurence and met Boniface (he was so lovely) - here we went to Lake Naivasha to see the Hippos (once again our guide on the boat was amazing with the boys and got them to feed an eagle and drive the boat) and we also took a walking tour on the island (hmmm, is it an island??? I think it isn't but you get there by boat lol) - here we learnt more about animals and got to get some great photos next to them.
We finally got to Lake Nakuru and got ready for our early morning safari the next day. Boniface took us earlier (which we were so fine with - who needs to sleep when you can see animals in the wild... we can sleep on the flight home lol) - watching the sunrise over Lake Nakuru was stunning and we finally got to see Rhinos (both black and white) - BTW Boniface's eye sight is superhuman - he saw a black rhino.. we saw a bush... then looked through the binoculars and BOOM... it was a black rhino. I have no idea how he saw this, without binoculars and also while driving.... we will rename him Super Boniface!
Lake Nakuru is a lot smaller than Masai Mara so we managed to see it all in 4 hours and we then made our way back to Nairobi to Fiona.
During the whole experience we would message Fiona or she would message us to make sure everything was okay and to be honest... everything was perfect. I am so sorry for babbling loads but I just wanted to tell you what it was like and how amazing it was. It is scary booking an experience online but I promise you - if you book it with Inspired Feet Safaris, you are in very very safe hands.
We will be putting together a video and posting it on our youtube page (we are not paid youtubers at all... just like collecting memories and sharing them) so keep an eye out on https://www.youtube.com/@TheRichieReel or on our instagram https://www.instagram.com/therichiereel
Would we recommended Inspired Feet Safari..... 100% YESSSSSS (and yes that is me shouting it lol)
