The safari trip to Tanzania with our private driver Alfonsi was perfect !
He drove us 6 days with his jeep through different National Parks and we saw a lot of animals.
This driver told us very much and it was a pleasure to be with him this days.
Everything was perfect !

Serengeti-Ngorongoro - a life changing experience
WAKANDA was recommended to us by a friend. We spend three night / four days of which 2 nights in Serengeti and 1 night in Ngorongoro. We booked last minute, all tailor made for the two of us by Bartho. We flew right into the centre of Serengeti on Seronera airstrip, the perfect beginning of a fabulous trip where Felix, our personal guide for four days collected us in his Landrover; taking us to all the right animal spots; driving us safely. We have visited many parks in Africa while working there. But, the Serengeti-Ngorongo was the max! Some highlights: the ocean of Zebras, lioness carrying new born cub, and bread raking Ngorongoro. The trip was good quality for money. Thank you Bartho and Felix, we highly recommend you both!

An unforgettable climb
I can wholeheartedly recommend the Mount Kenya climb with Equatorial Star. A friend and I did the 5 day climb in February and had an amazing time. We organised everything over WhatsApp in advance with Duncan, who replied quickly to all our questions and provided us with a comprehensive list of equipment that we needed.
The actual climb itself went very smoothly, Patrick was an excellent guide and the rest of the team were very friendly and helpful. We were well looked after and the food was both good and plentiful, thanks to Juma. The actual climb was amazing. I would recommend the up Chogoria and down Sirimon route that Patrick took us on. The scenery was breathtaking. Patrick got the pacing spot on, making sure we avoided altitude sickness, but then making sure that we were the first people to the top on summit day, meaning we had the peak to ourselves before any other climbers arrived. An unforgettable experience.

We hope to be back to climb Kilimanjaro with Equitorial Star at some point in the future.

Wonderful experience with all expectations met or exceeded
I booked a two night visit to Umkumbe Safari Lodge at Sabi Sand and one night at Langa Langa Tented Safari Camp/Lodge, flying in and out from Skukuza. The pick-ups, transport, accommodation, meals, staff, cleanliness - just everything - were great. The safari guides were really pleasant, experienced and knowledgable, particularly Jurie at Sabi Sand. I slightly preferred Umkumbe as I could watch the animals all day at the lodge and the guides were able to move off the roads to get better views. I strongly recommend having a guide and a safari wagen as the guides communicate and know where the animals are located. The wagons are higher than cars so spotting is easier. Rochelle at SafariLife answered all my queries quickly and supplied all the information I needed. Just wish it hadn’t rained so much as the pool at both places would have been more inviting, but thanks for the ponchos in the wagens!

Was Far From Honest
We used Honest Travel Experience in Cape Town for a trip in Aquila Reserve. It was supposed to be a private tour. But the owner, Franck, upsold us to a VIP tour, then did not deliver AT ALL. We got merged in with all our cruise passengers, after paying the extra money for a personal tour. After trying for several weeks to contact Franck, I gave up. We felt scammed. Beware!!
