Amazing
Our guide, Roger, was amazing and knowledgeable, helping us spot the Big Five and other action. He was really friendly and knew nearly everything about the animals. He answered all our questions and tried really hard to get us close for a good view.
The organization was perfect. Roger knows his job perfectly well, he speaks fluent French, and the whole team gave themselves the means to see absolutely everything we hoped for.

As a wildlife photographer, my trips require flexibility, patience, and guides who understand the craft — Expedition Rwindi Voyage nailed it. They knew the best times for light, the best vantage points, and were endlessly patient while I set up shots or waited for the perfect moment. They even communicated with rangers to position us in ideal trekking groups so I had better chances at capturing unique gorilla behaviors. We had a positive experience with Bush Troop Safaris. We arranged everything in advance via WhatsApp. One of the highlights was having the same guide throughout our stay in Nairobi, both for the city tours and as the link to the guides inside the park. This continuity made us feel familiar and comfortable, and we appreciated the trust it created. The team was kind, attentive, and kept in touch in real time, making sure everything was going smoothly.
There are a few things travellers should be aware of. The tours are not on the inexpensive side, but all park entrances were booked and the fees were included. Only at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust the driver didn’t have our booking reference, so we had to pay on the spot, but they refunded us a few minutes later. They also arranged a wonderful lunch reservation for us and paid it in advance, which we really appreciated. They took us to a local craft shop with beautiful items, but the prices were very inflated, so it’s important to bargain firmly and compare before buying.
On the day of the Nairobi National Park safari, the team arrived late because of a car accident. To compensate, they kindly offered us an additional visit to the park before the Sheldrick experience the following day, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Super experience! We did the 1 day Tsavo East Safari which Steve customised according to my time constraints. He went above and beyond to keep his word regarding timing, even if it meant getting down the vehicle and settling a traffic jam! The Safari itself was spectacular — we saw 15 lions, zebras, elephants, ostriches, giraffes — pretty much all the wild life we wanted to! He’s great at also giving you a sense of the different wild life patterns, their groupings and histories which I really enjoyed. Hands down would recommend him!

A trip of a lifetime!
We booked our safari trip in South Africa with Gems of Africa, and had the most amazing time at Sanbona
Lindo and the team at Gems sorted our transfers from Franschhoek with a return to Hermanus, as well as everything at the reserve. We had a beautiful time exploring all the wildlife and the team at Sanbona exceeding our expectations

Balu arranged a well organized safari trip. Beautiful gamedrives with a excellent guide/driver
Morris of Balu Travel organized a great safari for a fair price. They gave us a choice of lodges and they were all wonderful. He also arranged SGR train tickets for our trip from NBO to Voi station ( can only be paid with m-pesa, not Cc. ). We did Tsavo East, West and Amboseli. Our guide/driver Junior picked us up in Voi, did all of the gamedrives and drove us eventually back to NBO. He is an excellent and safe driver which is very important regarding the challenging local traffic. During the gamedrives Junior positioned us every time in the perfect spot to see the animals. He was very punctual and maintained the car in good condition. We checked all boxes regarding the animal species we wanted to see. All together our safari arranged by Balu was a great success.

Super knowledgeable and super funny!
I did a small private tour with Ayalew ! He is an experienced guide with a wealth of knowledge and an amazing sense of humour. He is fully accredited and I feel I walked away from my three days with him with a better understanding of the history and landscape of not just the churches, but also of Lalibela and Ethiopia .
Despite the travel advisory, the town of Lalibela was very friendly and secure . There was a strong military presence in the town but very few tourists.
Thanks hidden Ethiopia for such a lovely adventure !
