An unforgettable safari experience with Papa Jones of Jungleroam Safari
We had an amazing safari experience at Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, all thanks to our tour guide cum driver, Mr Papa Jones! He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible, always doing his best to fulfil everything on our wish list and making sure we didn’t miss any highlights.

Excellent follow up everyday during the tour to make sure our trip is smooth and fun
7D6N Safari + Kilimanjaro Day Hike (Coca cola route) + Materuni Waterfall
1) 5 star for the Safari - excellent follow up from Happy day to day to make sure our trip is smooth and fun. Tarangire, Serengeti, Nogrongoro and Manyara lake are all interesting and we did enjoy the safari very much. Many many many animals and birds.
2) 5 star for the Materuni waterfall hike and coffee tour. Easy hike through local villages and green plants, with view of Kilimanjaro Peaks. The coffee tour with lunch is excellent to taste the local food and how local coffee are made.
3) 2.5 star for the hike from Marangu gate to Mandara hut. The rainforest is green and pretty. However, hike all the way through thick forest, took a picture at the hut and rush back was not so fun - 16 km, from 10am to 5pm. There is no viewpoint for the peak nor for valley. It is just too rush for day trip, better to skip this and do the Materuni waterfall hike. Our mountain guide Sumali just walked and walked. There is no explanation no talking just rushing and keep pushing us to go back, mentioning we need to go out before 6pm, in reality we were back to the gate 1 hour ahead.
Accommodations:
1. Love the Misako Migration Camp in center Serengeti, luxury and comfort in the wild. There were waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes (afar) wondering around the campsite.
2. Tanzania Bush Camp Mara River in northern Serengeti is also great, just a bit less after staying in Misako. Always zebras wondering around and there are vultures and Malabu storks on the roof and trees.
3. Marera valley lodge - luxury room and fantastic dinner. I would recommend this over Farm of Dreams lodge.
4. Farm of Dreams lodge - looked amazing from outside, with show and entertainment before dinner, but the room, services and food is much better in Marera valley lodge.
5. Pre and post-safari accommodation in Arusha - Summit safari lodge. Okish hotel with all you need, clean and comfy bed, just we struggle with the hot water for shower. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari.
6. Pre-Kilimanjaro day hike - Whitehouse Hotel in Moshi. I love the window/balcony with Kilimanjaro view. Both rooms we had had no hot water for showering, just brave the cold. The waiters are friendly but they only cook on order, "slowly", waited 1 hour 30 mins for our dinner. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari.
Tips:
1. Extra3.5% if paying the tour by card, be prepared or prepare cash.
2. It was stressful for our guide to rush from northern Serengeti to get to the southern exit by noon. I would pay extra to stay another night in central Serengeti so we can be more relax and enjoy more the safari.
3. Upgrade the hotels pre/post safari.
Thank you Happy and Geoffrey from Kilipath, and our safari driver James for the wonderful experience!

Always on the top and the best services
We went to Tanzania for a 7 day trip from Arusha to Serengeti and back. It was perfect- we didn't go on a 5 star fancy trip but it definitely felt like it.Africa Starpal Safaris took care of every detail from beginning to end Paul who was the boss coordinated everything despite there office been in Kenya. We had our own guide and jeep which was perfect for our group. We spent mostly one night at places except for serengeti and ngorongoro and that was perfect. We never got bored and one place was better than the next. The accommodation were perfect and always clean. I can go on recommending Starpal for anyone visiting Africa.

A very happy honeymoon trip, thank you Eric.
My guide was very professional; he took me to see the Big Five, lions on their honeymoon, and much more. Thank you to my guide.
If I had to answer whether I liked it here, I would say I would come back again, because it was truly amazing.

Good safari Tours according the plan
We had wonderfull experience on our First safari tour.
We have seen a lot of different animals.
Our driver (Rodgers) did his best to show us good places with lot of animals.
We could see big five. Unfortunatelly we could not see cheetah.
We have booked budget tour.
Most of accomodations were ok, only some have been not so good.
In one accomodation in Masai Mara (Lenchada) my wife god issues with her stomach Most propobly due to the Food there.
If you book a tour in shared Jeep (7 places), you should know that if the Jeep is Full (most of the time in our case), it’s not so comfortable especial on Rest seats.
Because one member have booked non-budget tour, he/she had different accomodations.
That means sometimes we had to wait until that person is picked up First. That could mean that you start your Game Drive later and have less time.
When some of our members left, new passengers joined our group.
Because groups have been Mixed up, some have been not happy with this situation.
For us Everything was good because we stayed in one Jeep with one driver.

Amazing
Our guide, Roger, was amazing and knowledgeable, helping us spot the Big Five and other action. He was really friendly and knew nearly everything about the animals. He answered all our questions and tried really hard to get us close for a good view.
The organization was perfect. Roger knows his job perfectly well, he speaks fluent French, and the whole team gave themselves the means to see absolutely everything we hoped for.

We have been grateful here all our lives.
As a wildlife photographer, my trips require flexibility, patience, and guides who understand the craft — Expedition Rwindi Voyage nailed it. They knew the best times for light, the best vantage points, and were endlessly patient while I set up shots or waited for the perfect moment. They even communicated with rangers to position us in ideal trekking groups so I had better chances at capturing unique gorilla behaviors. Beyond the wildlife, they introduced me to stunning landscapes — misty mountains, sparkling lakes, and vibrant city scenes — each a canvas waiting to be framed. I came home with a portfolio full of powerful images, but more importantly, I came home with gratitude for a team that truly understood and supported my passion. If you’re a photographer, amateur or pro, this is the company to trust — they’ll get you the shots, but they’ll also make sure you enjoy the journey between them.

Bush Troop Safaris is a warm, reliable and attentive operator that keeps you accompanied from start
We had a positive experience with Bush Troop Safaris. We arranged everything in advance via WhatsApp. One of the highlights was having the same guide throughout our stay in Nairobi, both for the city tours and as the link to the guides inside the park. This continuity made us feel familiar and comfortable, and we appreciated the trust it created. The team was kind, attentive, and kept in touch in real time, making sure everything was going smoothly.
There are a few things travellers should be aware of. The tours are not on the inexpensive side, but all park entrances were booked and the fees were included. Only at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust the driver didn’t have our booking reference, so we had to pay on the spot, but they refunded us a few minutes later. They also arranged a wonderful lunch reservation for us and paid it in advance, which we really appreciated. They took us to a local craft shop with beautiful items, but the prices were very inflated, so it’s important to bargain firmly and compare before buying.
On the day of the Nairobi National Park safari, the team arrived late because of a car accident. To compensate, they kindly offered us an additional visit to the park before the Sheldrick experience the following day, which was a thoughtful gesture.
