Amazing Safari experience with Jocky tours
5/5

I would like to express my gratitude for an amazing safari experience which sadly has ended.
I was on the Masai Mara safari from 13th - 16th September and my game driver was Richard.

Richard was a great driver! Alert, patient and most of all friendly which provided such an amazing safari experience.
He made sure that we all (7 of us) got great pictures and checked with us that we were all OK before he moved off driving. As you can imagine, seeing for ourselves as well as getting pictures is a major part of the experience and I owe a massive thanks to Richard for making that his top priority. We saw ALL THE BIG 5!!! And even had a picture of a leopard in a tree eating a wildebeest! That is second to none!!!

He was also very informative and his English is very good which made for a great bonding experience as we looked to Richard as our leader because he was trustworthy and we can tell he genuinely had all our best interests at heart. He is VERY passionate about what he does and I hope he goes very far!!!

I feel blessed to have had Richard as my game driver during my first experience on safari and especially as a solo traveller where safety is of utmost importance, I felt safe on safari and Jocky Tours now will be highly recommended to anyone who asks me about doing a safari in Kenya! I have already passed on the company details to two people interested in doing a safari and hope they get time to schedule a safari with Jocky so that they can get the same experience as I have done.

Thank you Jocky!

Amazing experience
5/5

I just want to thank you for all the services provided and the amazing experience we made.
our driver Jose was an excellent person and very professional. We really liked the company and its knowledge and culture.
I want also to say that the organisation and the servises provided were satisfying and well scheduled.
All the accomodations were fine, clean and in good proportion of quality/price.
We really liked the Kibo at the Amboseli park.
The only suggestion I may say is to overnight at Lake Nakuru instead of lake navasha. It would have been a better solution in my opinion also for logistic reasons. I explained it to Jose and perhaps as he told us, all the places were already booked for that period. Nevermind we did it great, it is just a personal suggestion for the future to come.
I will reccomend your agency to my friends and if we come back or visit other places closed to Kenya I will ask you for a safari trip organisation.

They matched my requirement perfectly with the budget and experience I was looking for.
5/5

We were looking for a Getaway for our 20th Anniversary in March 2017. At first Off2Africa replied very promptly with about 5 options both locally and regionally getting a feel of what we were looking for from a destination point of view as well as our budget. I found there Comms very helpful in asking the right questions to help prompt me in finding out myself exactly what I wanted - sometimes we have grand ideas or even no ideas at all. After choosing the destination I looked online myself and then reverted with some lodges i was interested in. I was so relieved when Off2Africa reverted with various comments again pointing me in the right direction for what i was looking for. They recommended a lodge in Zanzibar which was just what we wanted - in our budget and the type of accommodation likened to our characters for our getaway. The small details of it being our 20th anniversary were passed onto the lodge and we had a special welcome and private dinner set up for us. We were well impressed. To me recommending travel lodges and itineraries are not just standard for each family but rather specialised to the needs of each individual traveller and Off2Africa did just that for us.

My boyfriend and I just did the safari in Tanzania with this agency (face of africa adventure) and we had a great time! Amadi was very kind and helpful for any our request! The safari was magnificent, we saw many animals including lions and cheetahs! We slept 3 nights on camping and it was a unique experience, even the food was ok!
I would recommend to trust this agency !!!

Best ever experience!
5/5

Shaun gave us the experience of a lifetime and his knowledge and passion for wildlife is generously shared which allowed us to learn an incredible amount while we relaxed and enjoyed every minute of our trip!
We had amazing sightings of wild dogs, lion, hyena, elephants, owls and so much more and I will never look at ants in the same way again!
My only complaint is that it had to come to an end but I will most definitely be back!

Incredible experience!
5/5

My mom and I had a fantastic 9 day safari + 5 day Zanzibar experience. Elias was so patient with us - he answered every question we had via email promptly and in detail.

Rajubu was our safari guide, and he was very knowledgeable about the animals. He was also the best driver ever!!! It takes a lot of will power to drive for so many hours a day on such bumpy roads. Rajubu made sure we were safe and that we were having fun :)

We saw so many animals - lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, wildebeests, etc! Unfortunately didn't see rhinos, but we did see a mom lion carrying her newborn cub in her mouth from one rock to another. Also saw a bunch of lions eating a zebra which was pretty gross and cool.

Overall, excellent trip. Here were the highlights:
-Serengeti (you need 2 full days to see everything)
-Lake Manyara - worth it to see different scenery of trees and birds
-Ngorongoro - was supposed to see rhinos here so kind of disappointing that we didn't see them; but the landscape is nice and you see lots of zebras up close

In terms of lodging:
-Maramboi Tented Camp - just WOW. Incredibly beautiful, zebras in your backyard, such kind staff, and the flamingo walking tour by Lake Manyara is a must!
-Kenzan Tented Camp - best food of the trip was here, staff was so attentive and kind
-Ngorongoro Farm House - the best fresh vegetables I have ever eaten in my life - I had literally 6 bowls of salad one night; take the coffee / plant tour too
-Sunshine Marine Lodge (Zanzibar) - this place is all about relaxation; the passion fruit juice is so good; also you must take a snorkeling trip with Dive Point (located in the hotel); hotel is really beautiful, but you have to walk / take a car to the private beach
-Emerson on Hurumzi (Stone Town) - such a beautiful hotel, but it is in the middle of town so you will hear praying during the day and very early morning

Overall, I would recommend World Air Travel and Tours to everyone I know! Elias and Rajubu made sure we had the trip of a lifetime!

A great destination for a day-trip from Nairobi, if only for a visit to the gorge.

4/5

A local friend of a friend drove us to the park; the traffic was very slow on the day so we didn't get much time to go around, but the walk in the gorge was well worth it. It demanded some scrambling on rocks and the local ranger was really good at keeping us safe. Walking between the gorge walls with volcanic glass on the ground was quite an experience, so were the hot springs seeping from the rock. We did not get to see much wildlife except vervet monkeys and some giraffe but friends who visited the day before saw baboons and more.

A beautiful connection between people, wildlife and nature. Botswana is a well protected jewel!

The travel was well organized and all transitions went smooth and on time. The wildlife is stunning so is the nature. The guides were all extremely knowledgeable. Highlight was the Chobe National Park, during dry season a large variety of animals come together. We loved the boat tour. After that we flew into the Okavango Delta, very different experience the vegetation is different and the jeeps are allowed to leave the tracks and go deep into the bush to trace down cats. We loved it.My personal highlight was the walking Safari as it's the missing piece between game viewing and the story on nature and it's symbiosis. The stories were jaw dropping and teach you respect and admiration for Mother Nature and it's natural balance.
