Great Safari with Grayton Expeditions
5/5

We've recently returned from our second safari with Grayton Expeditions this time to Kenya We had a wonderful 7 Days private Safari, visiting 3 areas the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National park, the Masai Mara which my wife loved so much because of the expansive Savanh and the balloon safari which was marvelous, we saw an amazing number of animals including Lions, Leopards, Rhino and so many more, At the Lake Nakuru we had a chance to ride on the boat and also we saw the endangered rothschild's giraffe and White rhino the lake was full of flamingos and other birds, lastly we went to Amboseli There we had a chance to sight see Mount Kilimanjaro and the massive Elephants with large tusks. Then before we knew it our safari was almost over, we had two more nights at Amboseli which felt like coming home.
Huge thanks to Sandra the Safari specialist and Aron our drive/guide whose knowledge for all national parks and flora and fauna was amazing and all the teams at all the lodges that we called home at that time of our safari made our safari more memorable.
Thank you Grayton Expeditions for your prompt answering our email and well arranged Safari, I will not hesitate to recommend Grayton Expeditions to anyone who would like to visit East Africa.

Most Fabulous Trip Ever
5/5

I have been on other tours and they’ve all been great but this trip with Gusa exceeded them all. Everything was as promised and surpassed my expectations. All accommodations were wonderful--comfortable and a good value. Staff at each stay were unfailingly welcoming and gracious. Gusa staff accommodated every request-even last minute changes. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Everyone should visit Tanzania!

Great service, great price
5/5

I just had a safari with Meru Slopes in Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Florian, our guide, was very knowledgeable and could spot animals from miles away. Yoanna, our chef, spoiled us breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. And all this great service at a very reasonable price! Can sincerely recommend Meru Slopes

Great adventure
5/5

An amazing experience. Our driver Joseph was very good - we saw almost everything (did not see a leopard,
but they can be very elusive, up in the trees) and he went out of his way to catch moments that were time critical. He really cared about showing us the best.

Driving alone was an experience, then seeing all the animals, combined with an interesting group of people, this safari was something that contributed greatly to making our trip to Kenya as the best we ever had.

The food was very good - basic but very well prepared with great quality ingredients. Especially near Kilimanjaro - some of the best food we had all trip/in recent memory! I say it’s gotta be the soil!

If you are citizen of Kenya it might be easier to get around, but what can’t be underestimated is the help your driver gives you. With Joseph all entries were seamless. If you go alone and don’t have e citizen or m-pesa, prepare to waste hours going around in circles.

Also being able to sit and not worry about driving is a great thing. Having self-driven four days before the safari, it’s fine, but needs attention - especially off-road in a light duty suv like we had. The converted Land Cruiser we had on the safari was inspiring in its off road capability, no doubt helped by Jospeh’s skill and experience.

Excellent Tour for everyone (Especially Vegetarians and Mandarin speaker)
5/5

We recently embarked on an 8-day journey(2024 Ester vacation) organized by Colours Africa Tours. The itinerary included visits to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. Throughout the trip, we were accompanied by two guides, Wofon for the shorter distances and Kindu for the longer stretches, both of whom were excellent. Additionally, our chef Su-i took care of our culinary needs throughout the journey.
I must commend Kindu, our long-distance guide, His ability to speak some Chinese made us feel very connected and comfortable. He even adopted a nickname Chinese name, Xiaolong(小龍)reason from a super actor Bruce Lee. Xiaolong was a cheerful guide, engaging but not verbose. With his eagle eye, he could spot animals from afar. Each morning before our game safari, he would inquire about our preferences for animal sightings and efficiently lead us to observe them, earning the nickname "Eagle Eye 4.0" among our group for his ability to see through disguises. Whether it was a leopard hiding in a tree, lions passing beneath it, or rare sightings like crocodiles and cheetahs, he provided us with exceptional wildlife experiences. Moreover, he was a skilled driver, navigating through muddy terrain during the rainy season without ever slowing our pace. In fact, he even assisted other vehicles in need along the way, showcasing his impressive capabilities.
Su-i, our chef, was indispensable during our journey. Despite having two vegetarians in our group (lacto-vegetaria n& ovo-vegetarian), Su-i's cooking skills remained affected. He was very eager to communicate and fulfill our requests, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service, also catering to our Asian tastes with great conversation and portions that left us fully satisfied each day. We were initially worried about adjusting to the food, but every meal turned into a delightful surprise, from enjoying vegetarian pizza and lasagne on the savannah to treats like banana cake and popcorn. Especially, Su-i provide us with fresh bread and pancake every morning all hand made. With a perfect team, delicious food, captivating wildlife sightings, and excellent accommodations, our experience was truly exceptional.
Special thanks also go to Nasra for her attentive communication, always patiently addressing our questions and offering helpful suggestions to ease our nerves. She even arranged for us to experience braiding with African hair, adding another memorable aspect to our journey.
