Trustful and knowledgeable guide
We had a wonderful safari drive with Emmanuel who was experienced and knows lots of information about local cultures. We could see almost all animals which we wanted to see, because he has experience and many network with other safari guides to exchange the information.
And what he surprised us is he always keeps time:) He is very serious when he is at work!
I highly recommend turraco as tour operator. You will get amazing experience!!

This experience was truly amazing!! Sleeping in the treehouses was an experience I would love to do again! Viva safaris provided such a fun environment. Got to see so many animals during the safaris. Truly enjoyed the meals they provided. It was also great to kickback with new friends and enjoy some Castle lites! Cheers! Would love to do this again!

African Portfolio is my go to for a trip to Africa (3 trips completed, cannot wait for the next)
African Portfolio deserves 10 stars on a 5 star scale. They have planned three different incredible safari trips for me and my husband (South Africa, Tanzania, and Botswana/Zimbabwe). I would not even consider working with anyone else to plan a trip to Africa. They go above and beyond with everything that they do (before, during, and after the trip). Their knowledge/experience, attention to detail, adaptability to budget/timing constraints, patience/kindness, and drive for excellence enables them to surpass customer expectations to deliver vacations/experiences of a lifetime.
I love international travel and do a lot of research before a trip (no matter the country/continent). African Portfolio is always very attentive to my questions and provides excellent advice. Erik's knowledge about the game park assured us of a great experience.
No complaints. Communications, service, arrangements, the tour itself were all flawless. Erik met us at the airstrip and was very familiar with the park so that we saw everything we wanted to see.

Fantastic Gorillas and Wildlife Safari
We had a family tour earlier this year with African Rock Safaris LTD to Bwindi. Seeing the Gorillas was definitely our highlight (even though it rained in Bukola during the trekking) and thanks to Christopher for his excellent communication and flexibility, who booked the tour, secured us Gorilla permits despite our late notice and interest for the tour!
Our 2 nights in Buhoma were at Ride 4 a Woman whose staffs were so hospitable and helpful all the time. I recommend this lodge too.
The tour to Lake Mburo was also awesome with an overnight at Mpogo lodge. We really liked the community tour of the farm and milking of the Ankole Long horned cattle. I really recommend Mpogo Lodge.
Lastly, many thanks to the choice of our driver guide Joseph Jazz for his wide scope of knowledge in Wildlife and birds of East Africa. Cheers to him.
