Great attitude and knowledge
Stanley and James are great guides. They care about your experience and make you feel comfortable. The accommodation picked was them was also very good. We managed to see plenty of animals even if the rain sesion made it a bit more difficult.

Go on Safari with Anthony from Beacon
We love Anthony!! we have had the very best experience with Beacon safaris. Anthony picked us up right on time and we drove all the way to the Massai Mara. The car was very comfortable and Anthony is very safe and excellent driver. Our itinerary was massai Mara national Park, Amboseli National park and Lake Nakuru national Park. We stayed in wonderful hotels with breathtaking views which was just amazing. Anthony made sure we saw all big five and much, much more. He’s very smart and experienced and told us all about the animals what we wanted to know. We found out he was very well-connected to the other guides so whenever there was an animal spotted, they talk with walkie-talkies to each other, and Anthony brought us there to see the animals. My brother and my soon to be sister-in-law got engaged in the Massai Mara and Anthony organized some flowers on the bed in the hotel for them which was very kind. We have had truly the best experience with beacon, and especially with Anthony and we are so very lucky to have had the time of our lives with him. Make sure to book with Beacon Safari and don’t forget a good tip.
Thanks again and we can’t recommend this experience enough .

Friendly country with amazing scenery
We spent five days in Botswana at the Boteti tented safari lodge. This was a great place with wonderful staff and a very relaxed feel. The tents are very luxurious with electricity and an ensuite bathroom. The only downside of the place is that it is quite a long drive from the game reserve areas which makes the game drives quite a long day out. Game viewing was amazing though and well worth the trip. We also particularly enjoyed the canoe trip on the Okavango delta. The only problem we had was that Mzansi experience had not confirmed our booking to the lodge though I had paid in full and received a confirmation from Mzansi. This meant the lodge were not expecting us and did not meet us at the airport. However the staff coped brilliantly and resolved all the issues.

Wonderful nature, hibitants and guides
I had a wonderful 4 days safari where I was blessed with meeting 4 out the big 5. Some of them multiple times. This is because of the fantastic guides who walks an extra mile to give you memorable moments. Can highly recommend.

The most beautiful country and the friendliest people in the world
This was my fourth trip to Africa and my 3rd to Kenya, but it was a first both for my husband and my daughter. I always wanted to share the vast, untouched beauty of Africa with them. I wanted them to see the friendliness, sweetness of people. These words actually cannot even begin to describe Kenya. Now both my husband and my daughter know what I tried to describe, and they already miss Kenya. We will be back for sure.
In this particular trip we went first to Lake Nakuru, stayed in The Cliff. An amazing camp right at the lake with amazing food, amazing sunrise, amazing everything. Very chic and very comfortable, too. We went to two safari rides and a hippo boat ride. Kenya is a surreal country where your Landcruiser stops for giraffs and zebras crossing the road. We chose a wake up call for the sunrise and saw probably the most amazing sunrise on earth. With monkeys around the camp, hippos in the water. We had a walking tour and were right next to amazing animals. Then we continued to Masai Mara and stayed right in the park where animals are coming into this amazing camp, Entim Mara. No fences, but guards to accompany you to your tent and wait for you all night. Whenever you want to come out, you open your tent (more like a super chic hotel suite) and they immediately come. In the mornings when you wake up they bring you coffee, tea, or whatever you want to drink. At night there are comfy hot water bottles under your sheets. The food is to die for. Both camps had wifi, no problem. We went in April, so the temperatures were comfortable. Occasional rains, but no tourist crowds. Masai Mara has so many mind blowing adventures, it is hard to fit here all. Being so close to lions, that one can touch them, seeing tiny baby elefants, witnessing giraffe habits, and the vast beauty of Africa are just a few snippets. All in all, like my husband said after the trip, Kenya changes you. It adds dimensions to your life, you did not know before that they existed.

Impressive Crew!
We recently embarked on a journey to conquer Kilimanjaro, and while reaching the summit remained elusive, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the incredible crew and guides (especially Emmanuel) who made it all possible.
From the moment we set foot on the mountain, the team's professionalism and dedication were evident. Our guides, with their wealth of knowledge about the terrain and local culture, ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trek. Their encouragement and support kept our spirits high even when the altitude presented its greatest challenges.
Although we didn't reach the summit, every step of the journey felt like an achievement, thanks to the unwavering camaraderie among our fellow hikers and the inspiring guidance of our crew.
Moreover, the logistical aspects of the trip were seamlessly handled, allowing us to focus solely on the experience. The quality of the equipment provided, the delicious meals prepared under challenging conditions, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the journey reflected the team's commitment to excellence.

Uganda tour with Derrick from Buyaga Safari
What an adventure! The private driver from Buyaga Tours, Derrick , made this adventure customized, personal, safe and fascinating.
We learned so much about the variety of birds and wildlife because of his expertise.
We did the Chimpanzee, Gorilla and Golden Monkey Treks. All included in such a reasonable price. The visits to local communities and views from amazing accommodations were awesome. Beds were top quality as was the service and food. We can’t wait to go again.
Do this while your body still can. You will not regret it. Uganda and the people are welcoming.

14 Day Kenya Wildlife Adventure Private Tour
My partner and I booked a private safari with APS for the 14 Day Kenya Wildlife Adventure which saw us visiting the following parks Tsavo East x2, Amboseli x2, Aberdare x1, Samburu x2, Lake Nakuru x1, Maasai Mara x3, Lake Naivasha x1 as well as a night in Nairobi. We organised everything through John Peter who responded patiently to all of my questions (and I asked a lot!), modifying the itinerary to our needs and while we were in Kenya, helping us to locate our taxi driver and upgrading one of the rooms in the Maasai Mara which we really appreciated! Our guide/driver was Lawrence and he was incredible, getting us close to all the animals, always on the radio to let others know what we had found and getting good information back. Aside from black rhinos, there was nothing that we didn’t see from all the main animals, we saw everything multiple times and every time it blew our minds completely. Every park had its own unique characteristics and nothing was the same. All of the park rangers were so friendly and knowledgable, as well as all of the boat operators and guides. It was so hard saying goodbye. All of the rooms and facilities in our accomodation were beyond what we expected and the food alone is a reason to return, we were spoiled! Our van did break down a few times during the trip which unfortunately meant some of our plans changed, however this was out of Lawrence’s hands and led to some great experiences that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. We will cherish this trip forever and thank APS so much for providing us with such an amazing experience in Kenya!
