Discover Kenya,Tanzania and Zanzibar together with local people
5/5

We travelled through Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar with "Kenya Walking". They are wonderful countries, to get to know them with expert local guides from Kenya Walking is a unique experience, they were very kind and succeeded in letting us see all the big five!Arrangements were almost perfect, we had a budget and they managed to mix budget (but nevertheless fascinating) with luxury lodges and hotels. Our group was 2 adults and 2 teens, we had 2 (two!) guides always with us, ready to accomplish our every wish, they even cooked for us typical meals!I would strongly recommend a travel with Kenya Walking!

Truely a trip of a lifetime!
5/5

My son and I travelled with EASTCO through out Tanzania for 3 weeks. We visited the big name parks such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire and the lesser visited Arusha national park The highlights included the accommodation at Naitolia and Ol Tukia, and the tented accommodation on the Serengeti. We travelled with our guide James telling us all we needed to know and showing us his country in a personal and exciting way. We visited Babati and met the locals, seeing the rock art at Kolo and taking a ride in a dugout canoe on the lake. We saw more animals than we thought possible and many times we were the only vehicle in sight. Some of the most memorable were the lions devouring a warthog next to our vehicle on the Serengeti, the night drive at Naitolia and the beautiful colobus monkeys in Arusha national park. The masaai people were great, ready to share their lives with us giving us an insight into an ancient culture.
I would not hesitate to recommend EASTCO, they delivered all that they promised and more, we did some things that were not in the usual safari plan andthey did not hesitate to suggest things that they thought we would enjoy. They also organised the 3 days in Zanzibar for us and it was excellent. All in all an excellent trip, good food, good accommodation, good guide and good friends. We will be back to get them to organise a trip to Bwindi and more of the Serengeti!

Strongly recommended... friendly, open, honest would return next week
5/5

The guys were great. Simon has been fantastic on the email and we couldn't say a bad word about our guide Ezi (Ezekiel), who's patience and knowledge paid gave us the opportunity to see more than we would have otherwise. Its a trip we're continually rememissing about. We too went to the Crater, Serengiti and Boundry Hill. With the exception of the warm beers we coudn't off asked for more. The hospitatlity we were given at each of the camps (much different to the camping Aussie style) was endless. We felt and were made to feel like royalty. We have never stayed anywhere as lovely, and expected anywhere as nice as on the trip.

What remains in our mind as one of the highlights (and there were heaps) was on the first afternoon, we went for a walk with a Masai ranger above the crater where we walked a few metres from Giraffes... If that wasn't enough!!!

We had lions and lionesses walking in amongst the trucks, like we weren't even there, saw a lioness take down a couple of zebra, saw millions of zebras, to Ezi's amusement at my initial cry out. We did have a moment of apprehnsion through the drive from the Crater to Serengiti, where the road was rough, the land desoloute. I think we both had a time we wondered if we should or could have stayed at the crater but were pleasantly surprised by the pockets of natural beauty that Serengiti gave us. Its amazing that I even contemplated and feared that we wouldn't see enough or see any lions!!! we saw countless!!

Even as we left and just as we were both seated (for the first time in days) on the way out three Cheetahs just cruised on by sitting on a rock within five metres from where we had parked... At Boundry hill we were woken to Elephants roaring, guided through the park by gorgeous Masai that walked us through the country giving us a wealth of knowledge.

If we could offer one suggestion it would be, offering the guys a fridge or solar panels (more) at Boundry Hill. The lodge was outstanding and Joseph who was gorgeous ran a beautiful place. The poor guy had to put up with us beer drinking Aussie's... Thankyou guys, and sorry this has been ages in the making... I know Julie and Jim are looking forward to returning with you guys next year...

We couldn't have asked for more...

Unique experience with the amazing wildlife, scenery and interacting with the local people
5/5

Communications were very prompt and good, price was reasonable. The tour itself was amazing; the scenery, wildlife and the remoteness and uniqueness of some of the campsites contributed to this. However the best thing about the company was the staff in the field- they were very knowledgeable, friendly and prepared to do their utmost to ensure that your experience was the best you could possibly have. Cosmos the driver/guide and Paul the chef were excellent examples of this.

Great safari tour company in Kenya
5/5

I arranged a four-day safari with KWSS over the internet. I was traveling on business and I was impressed that they did not charge me a single supplement. The communication with their office was very fast. After establishing a departure date I provided the 50% deposit via Western Union without a problem. They picked me up exactly when they said they would. Because I was traveling alone, I had a private safari van and driver/guide. My driver/guide provided excellent information about the land and people. In the Maasai Mara, he got me as close to the animals as possible and let me spend as long or as short a time as I wanted in any one particular spot. He listened to the CB radio on which other drivers reporting sightings of hard-to-find animals and got me there quickly. A pride of lions walked directly in front of our car, which was spectacular. KWSS provided exactly what they described in the itinerary. I felt they were honest and treated me well. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Outstanding 7 Night Gorilla Trek/Chimpanzee Trek/Safari
5/5

We took a 7 day Gorilla Trek/Chimpanzee Trek/Safari provided by Katona Tours in May 2014. We were extremely satisfied with the great job done by Katona in planning and conducting our trip. Our trip included Bwindi, Queen Elisabeth NP, Kibale NP, and Murchison Falls NP.
Katona (Jackie in particular) was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We were nervous about trying to coordinate a trip from the other side of the world, so we had many questions in the months leading up to it. One of the reasons we selected Katona was their quick and thorough answers to our emails and calls. In our planning, we made inquiries with several tour agencies, but Katona was clearly the best in this regard.
We had the same guide (Richard) for the entire week. He was cheerfully waiting at the airport for our late arrival (near midnight), drove us to all of the parks, conducted our game drives, and got us back to the airport in time for our flight. Richard was enthusiastic, friendly, and very focused on making sure we had the best experience/adventure possible. In addition, he provided good advice and interesting information about Uganda. And finally, he did a great job of driving on a lot of rough roads.
The lodges selected for us by Katona had some of the best food and definitely the best service we have had anywhere. By the time our day activities were completed, we were able to relax comfortably and safely. There are detailed lodge reviews for the places we stayed on TripAdvisor.com, which I believe are accurate. Our lodges were Trekkers Tavern (Bwindi), Twin Lakes (Queen Elisabeth), Kibale Forest Camp (Kibale), and Fort Murchison Lodge (Fort Murchison).
Katona was also a great help in compensating for several failures by our airline (Delta/KLM). Delta delivered us to Entebbe 24 hours late and lost one of our bags. Despite our late arrival, Katona was able to make sure we were able to see all of the things we had planned. They were also able to get our bag to us as soon as the airline finally shipped it. This was a very difficult task because we were about a 6 hour drive away from Kampala/Entebbe when the bag arrived. We can’t thank Katona enough for the help.
In summary, we would highly recommend Katona. The primary reasons were the quick and thorough responses when planning the trip, our satisfaction with getting to see everything we wanted, their ability to assist when we had severe airline problems, and our great guide/driver. Uganda is a much different world than where we live, and Katona made sure we had a great adventure.

We had a fantastic holiday... Thanks for all your time and effort, you were the best!

We have just returned from an excellent holiday in Tanzania. We have visited all the national park in the northern circuit, saw big 5 and incredible amount of animals everywhere we went to. Zanzibar was definitely a great choice as well. Snorkelling was brilliant as well. We are so grateful to Safarihub and especially Zuzana for organizing our trip, but even more for all the effort and time she has given to us. It really was the trip of a lifetime for us.
Thanks again for organising the perfect holiday. We have recommended you to everyone we know is planning to go to Tanzania not only for your friendly and professional manner, but also for the great value for money we got for our trip.

Great time
5/5

Thank you for such an incredible trip.
I just would like to thank you again for arranging the wonderful Tanzania safari we had last week! We saw the big 5, leopards hanging in a tree from very close, three tree climbing lions, cheetahs, elephants and in fact all animals were looking to see not talking about thousands of wildebeest crossing the Grumeti River full of crocodiles. We really had an unforgettable time!

Kilimanjaro & Safari
5/5

Migunga Adventures very well organized our trip to Tanzania. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was an unforgettable experience thanks to Migunga Adventures' superb mountain guides. The following Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) was amazing as well. The tour guide was a real expert and was always able to show us the most promising spots to see all animals of these beautiful national parks. We can only highly recommend Migunga Adventures.

About: Safarihub
The trip was excellent with some mistakes made by the local organizers.
5/5

Communication with Safarihub during planning was excellent. My personal guide on the tour gave me an exceptionally good service. The accommodations within the Kruger National Park were very good. The tour in general fulfilled all of my expectations, and gave me a lifetime long experience about the wildlife of Africa. I can recommend a tour like this to everybody.
Unfortunately, the local organizers made some mistakes. Because of unproper booking, I had to spend a night together with my guide in the same room. They tried to compensate me for this inconvenience, but the compensation (they trasferred me to a luxury lodge out of the borders of the Kruger National Park for the last night) turned out to be a bad choise, since because of this I missed the early morning bush walk, which was a part of my original plan.
