An outstanding place for birdwatching.
We traveled with a private guide, and were looking primarily for birds although the lemurs and the lizards were fantastic. Overall the food was outstanding. We avoided high end tourist hotels and stayed in smaller more local places which suited us better.
Lots of spiders but I'm told they aren't venomous. Please don't tell me otherwise even now :-)

Great time with Karibu Safari
I had a great time during this 3 days SAFARI as i was able to see cheetah, leopard, and the rest of the big five.
The organization was perfect and everything was done as i expected.
I was picked at my hotel the day of the departure and dropped off at the airport at the end of the Safari.
I definitely recommend this tour for a Safari.

Perfect locations and organisation - even after Travelbird insolvency
We booked with Travelbird which went in insolvency. But with some luck our travel happened and we had an amazing holiday. All Hotels on Sansibar were nice, Reef&Beach, Paradise Beach Resort and Shaba Boutique. We went to Tanzania in the Africa Safari Camp and had the time of our life. So many sightings, a nice Ranger Osman, who drove like hell to show us the most interesting places.. Good guy, hope to see him again. All was organized well, no complaints!

Terrific 9 day safari in Kenya
My 21 year old daughter and I went on a 9 day safari trip in Kenya in December 2018 and it was wonderful and memorable. We saw the “Big 5” animals and so much more.
Maurice did a superb job of organizing the trip, which included 5 game parks, and was exceptionally responsive to emails regarding details prior to the onset of the trip. He even made a special effort to see us at our hotel in Nairobi the day before the safari started to ensure the details were clear and kept in contact with our driver, Muli Jones, and with us throughout the trip.
Our driver, Muli Jones, was tireless and enthusiastic, even after a full day of game drives or driving us on the heavily trafficked roads between the parks. His love of animals and for Kenya was clear. He had an amazing eye for lions and cheetahs, and, on several occasions, saw a lion walking far in the distance and did his best to take us to see it. He also did an excellent job of getting us out of Amboseli after a heavy rainfall turned the only exit road into a flooded and raging river, arranging for a Land Cruiser to tow us out. The water of the river reached up to our vehicle doors but we were one of the few vehicles to make it out of the game park that morning so we could continue our trip. He was a safe driver as well and never seemed to let traffic congestion or slow downs frustrate him.
Our lodging was also excellent. It included both tent camps and lodges. I would like to make special mention of Severin Tent Camp in Tsavo West. The food was truly excellent with 4 course meals. Also, the Ark Forest Lodge in Aberdare had a wonderful viewing area where one could sit and read or relax and the animals would come to you. They had a buzzer that woke you at night if certain animals came, so we were able to see the group of 4 elephants who were protecting the baby from the hyenas at 12:45 am. We both wished we could have stayed there another night or two.
I recommend Africa Safari Classics without hesitation and hope to travel with them again in the future

Amazing Trip
Everything was well organized. I did the 3-days Safari Camp Tour and I had an amazing time. They keep the group small which I prefer. We were 7 of us and we all got along including the driver. The sleeping accommodation at the camp were simple but lovely. Everything was clean and the food was delicious. The service was top.
I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who likes it authentic and adventurous. Thanks so much for this amazing experience!

Darren was incredibly responsive, knowledgable, and arranged a trip that went flawlessly
The trip that we arranged with Compass Odyssey more than lived up to our expectations. Darren was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, responsive and helpful. He took our every wish and made it his command. The service was impeccable. Everything went flawlessly, from being met at the airports or camps, to transportation, to having amazing local guides. The Chobe National Park safaris provided both an experience overland and on the Chobe river with a very knowledgable guide. The trip to Zimbabwe was very memorable even though the falls were low at the time of year we visited. The arranged guides were so accommodating and knowledgable and helpful. The places we stayed were all comfortable and well located. Darren made car hire arrangements for us for our trip along the Garden Route which was one of the highlights of the trip. Nature's Valley is not to be missed, in our estimation. Our accommodations were like being in a tree house and very close to a beach and a nice restaurant. Having Darren's help made arranging the trip to Africa very very easy for us.
I cannot recommend Compass Odyssey highly enough.

Good offer for good price.
Karamuna Safaris offer lets to see very much - from Uganda's villages to nature. I took the photos of the gorillas, antilopes, giraffes, hipos, elephants, many birds. Food was OK, sometimes - very OK. My group lived in budget hotels, so hot water wasn't in everywhere, but I understand that it's not 4 or 5 stars hotel. Our guides were nice and kind. Only my special ask - don't hurry in savannah, better wait, when the tourists want to see and take pictures of the animals.

Exceptional experience from Africa
Safari exceeded all our expectations and our tourguide Freddy was wonderful. We saw a lot more animals than we expected and have amazing memories from the safari. The lodging was very exotic, some were better, some quite shocking. Overall we are very happy with our African adventure.

We chose a 4 day safari visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara, Horace was our guide, he was very professional, very safe driver, friendly, punctual and knew all the answers to our questions!
We saw a bunch of animals including leopards, cheetah, lions...and many more!
The lodges where we stayed were wonderful, food was fantastic and we had an amazing time.
Maureen ,the owner, is also very friendly and made everything super easy. On our last day, she contacted us to check our impressions on the safari experience.
