Amazing safari experience in Tanzania
5/5

7 days tailor-made safari in Tanzania

First of all, we had a great contact with Helena who was open to our requests and did everything to satisfy them.

Our guide Heaven was great, young and dynamic, open-minded, he really did everything to show us best things during the safari. He drove us to exceptional places in the park where we were alone to enjoy our time watching quietly the animals.

During the safari we had a little misunderstanding with the planning and Heaven dealt with it in 30 minutes directly with Helena who solved the problem. We were happy to see the reactivity of SOT to arrange everything.

The hot meals were also a plus punt that makes SOT stand out from other companies. In comparison to the Lunch Box, we felt like King and Queen heaving a nice dinner with wine. The food was always good and made less waste than the lunch box.
As promised we had unlimited water.

As for the trip, we visited the Lake Natron, we climbed the Lengai, did Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
Lake Natron, beautiful and nice walk with our Masai guide. The climb of the Lengai was an extraordinary but physical experience. We recommend to do it knowing the difficulty and the risks. You must be fit and trained. The parks were all great but the Tarangire was really beautiful and bears very well the name of « Home of elephants ».

Great thanks to the team of SOT !

Dangerous Dishonest Agency
1/5

We booked and partially paid in advance a 7-day safari with Uhuru Travel & Tours. When we arrived in Arusha, we met Mr. Loi, who, after asking us to literally "make him rich" with the final payment, put us on a jeep.

After few hours on the car we realized that we were supposed to go back to Arusha after a 4-day safari, against the written schedule we paid for.

We contacted Mr. Loi and the kind secretary of Uhuru Travel & Tours, Margareth, that answered Hakuna Matata, everything would have been fixed and never tried to fix the situation

When we arrived in Serengeti, where we should have spent three entire days, we were told that the next morning we would have left the next morning.

We had to spend hours at the telephone to get what we paid for, since, at the beginning, the agency did not offer compensation for the change of program, then they offered some days in Arusha park. Definitely not what we wanted and we had to receive. At the end, we were abondoned in Serengeti public camp wating an entire day for a driver to pick us up. Finally, the next day a broken and unsafe vehicle showed up without spare tyres and with a leaking tank, which had several mechanical failures and literally fell down while driving, exposing us to the risk to overnight in the middle of the Serengeti.

Once dropped in Ngorongoro we had to wait for another driver, but the authorization papers for the park disappeared with the previous driver.

So, we had an overall bad experience and we would like to advise other people who want to discover the beautiful Tanzania avoiding this dishonest agency.

We can highly recommend this tour operator
5/5

My husband and I made a 14 days-tour in Uganda operated by Mamaland Safaris and we can highly recommend this tour operator. Everything was perfect: from the communication in advance with Edrisa, to the planning, programm, car, lodges and food, ... Coming back to Uganda we would choose this company again.
One of the most important parts for this very positive experience was our guide Moses. He was always very friendly, very carful and reliable, and he always gave us a lot of interesting information. So we only can say thank you to the team of Mamaland Safaris and especially to Moses!

Our perfect safari Honeymoon
5/5

Great experience in this safari, thanks to the organiser - Mack - and the driver - Thomas.
We had the car dedicated to the two of us, great accommodations and awesome places visited.
Our tour started in the Tarangire, then Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara - for a total of 7nights, with 1 day resting at the arrival.
We've seen all the main animals, the big 5 and many predators - included a group of 15 lions of which 8 cubs.
We couldn't have asked for more!

A cosmic Safari, thanks to Leopard Tours and especially Castro
5/5

From 5/10 until 10/10 for the first time in our life (bucket list) we were guided along several beautiful places by Leopard Tours in Tanzania.
It was a dream come true. The wonderful scenery, the many animals (Big Five was easy...) and above all the excellent service of our guide Castro made it all possible.

A special warm thanks to the friendly, wise, correct and secure driver-guide Castro. His expertise, knowledge and patience made it all come true.

We fully recommend Leopard Tours and you will be lucky to have Castro as your guide.

Amazing experiences with breathtaking views
4/5

Dennis is very nice and flexible in arranging the trip suiting to my requests. It started smoothly since the driver, Bonface, picked me up from the hotel, then the ranger, Simon, brought me to Naivasha, Maasai mara, and Amboseli. During the 6 days safari tour, it was amazing gaining wonderful experiences in Kenya. Thank you so much once again.

Amazing experience - exceeding expectations
5/5

We undertook a 5 day safari ( 3 days Wild wing safari, 2 day private lodge ) with our family ( 2 girls aged 10 & 12) in Oct 2019.

Firstly the logistics, all of these were perfect, guides and transfers were all on time, courteous and friendly. This made for a completely stress free experience.

The wild wings Safari portion of our trip exceeded all of our expectations , both in terms of game viewing but also the team that provided this for us. Firstly we discovered that we were the only ones on this trip so it felt very personal and it was fantastic for our family, like out own tailored Safari for 4.

Our guide was Happy who was brilliant, he took the time to explain so much and went into detail about all the animals not just the big 5. He was keen to show us as much as possible and the entire family enjoyed our time with him, we managed to see all the major animals multiple times over often being the only vehicle present. We can't recommend the Wild Wings Safari and Happy highly enough.

The other highlight was John and the cooking, we were a little unsure about what to except with the "home cooked" meals but it was like having our own personal chef, the food was really good and the dinners and breakfasts were a really pleasant experience spent enjoying fantastic food and chatting to Happy and John about the Kruger as well as the food, John's passion for his cooking really shone through.

After such a stunning Safari with Happy and John, Mohlabetsi had a lot to live up to. It was really interesting experiencing the difference with a private game lodge. it is a lot more structured in terms of your day and the lodge was really comfortable and felt luxurious. You do also get really close to the animals as the vehicles can go off road.

We would happily recommend Wild Wings Safari's.

Dream come true!
5/5

This was one of the best trips we've ever done! I was planning our safari for quite awhile and was recommended cross to Africa by a friend. Their communication was very clear and fast. What we wanted the most from the safari was to see as many animals as possible. Tony and cross to Africa didn't disappoint! We saw every animal including Multiple cheetah sightings and a leopard in a tree with a kill! It was a dream come true! Tony always managed to get us as close as possible to the action. He went above and beyond what you would expect. To experience it with my family was great! 5 of us had a great time travelling around Tanzania in style in the 4WD.

The accommodation was at a very high standard including 2 nights where we stayed in the Serengeti national Park. We picked medium range accommodation but they were at a very high standard. The highlight was hearing the animal noises whilst staying in a safe and modern tented accommodation with all the amenities of a 4-5 star hotel. Later, I looked up the accommodation online, if we booked it ourselves, it would have cost about 4x what we paid!

In addition to safari, whist we were travelling they also offered cultural experiences including a visit to a massai settlement and a meal a local home.

Overall,a dream come true!!
