Stuning experience in close contact with small and big wildlife fellows

Wildlife: here are few places in Africa where you hav concrete chance to spot lion, leopards, hyena, cheetahs, and wild dogs in one day; abundance of elephants is Amazing, antelopes (red lechwe, impala) and zebra everywhere
Scenery is absolutetly, wild, men presence is discreet altough there are many tourists
Weather in August is cool/cold in the night, pleasant and dry during the day
We spent all our nights in so-called Boga camps, camping sites assigned on personal basis, never sharing with Others, giving to you the fantastic experience of a close contact with Wildlife...no fences, we had in the camp lions, leopard, elephant, honey badgers

Is one of the few places where camping sites are in the wild, giving the unique expereince to be alone in nature; big carnivores are frequeently seen, among those wilddogs, leopards, and in the Kalahari Brown hyena; scenic beauty can vary from open savannah, to woodland, to desert, making the most varied country in Southern Africa; bush vibe is really incomparable, birding opportunities are many as the environment change, spanning from waterbirds to raptors, to desert specilities . A must for Wildlife fanatics, you are just on the stage, you meet all main actors of the big game of life and Death, big carnivores, bigfive, giraffes, more elusive species, wild dog, a real bonanza varying every day, changing any moment

We had the loveliest guide, Tommy. He went above and beyond to ensure we were having a lovely time on our trip. The wildlife was amazing and I loved that there were no fences around the parks. We stayed in beautiful accomodation and Sangaiwe was our favourite, especially waking up to hearing elephants.
We had amazing weather and can’t recommend this trip enough. Thank you Tanzania Specialist for making it so memorable!

10 Day Safari in Tanzania
5/5

We chose Dancing Zebra after talking to and getting quotes from several Safari companies we had seen at the Santa Clara travel fair. Jessica, at Dancin Zebra impressed us with her willingness to listen to our desires for the trip and the way she worked to meet them. Some of the other companies seemed to being trying to fit us in to one of their pre packaged trips. In the end she designed a 10 day trip for our group in Tanzania. It included Terangire Reserve, Ngorongoro Crater and the Sarengeti. The accommodations were all part of the Elewana Collection and were all top notch, great facilities, food and staff. One of the lodges (Manor at Ngorongoro) was quite possibly the most luxurious resort I have ever experienced. Our guides for the game drives were all very knowledgeable about the animals, birds and plants of the area they covered. They worked very hard to make sure we saw what we wanted to see. The highlight was probably the wildebeest crossing of the Mara River. Our group had planned this Safari as a once in a lifetime trip and all our expectations were met or exceeded. I can’t think of anything I would change if I had it to do over again.

Tanzanian Safari 5-star
5/5

We had an amazing time on our 4 day safari, our driver Max was so informative, helpful, and has an amazing eye for finding all the animals us normal mortals can't see. We went to Tarangire for 1 day, Serengeti for 2 days and Ngorongoro Crater for 1 day, this was the perfect amount of time for us we got to see 4 of the big 5 (missed out on seeing the Rhinos). A helpful tip is that all payments is to be made by cash (in Tanzanian Shillings)

The Ultimate East Africa Adventure
5/5

I am from India. It was going to be my first time ever in a different continent so I just didn't just do my due research, I went overboard with it. I emailed almost a 100 companies and scrolled through websites after websites to get the best estimate of prices, places and packages. So it's fair to say I had a good idea about everything. But when I saw Trip Advisor's price and package, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only was Seth Vincent the quickest one to respond to my mail, he had the best, most budget friendly package of them all! I noticed companies would automatically hike up their price if there was a mention of visiting two or more countries but Trip Advisor's price was drastically lower compared to any of them. Coupled with that, their's was the only package that offered a fantastic dinner at the luxurious Carnivore restaurant, visit to giraffe center and other activities, and stay at Meridian hotel on the day of arrival ALL FOR FREE. Their package also made sure we maximised our time by visiting as many different places as possible. They also offered a complimentary visit to Olduvai Museum in Tanzania. In short, their package was an all encompassing; wildlife safari, cultural and educational in nature. Thus, we got to experience Kenya and Tanzania in all its trueness.
More than any of that, it was the people involved that made our Africa experience so much more worthwhile. I am an anxious individual pre trip, so I kept bombarding Seth Vincent, the director, with questions after questions everyday and he painstakingly and patiently answered all of them. We had an instant dynamic over the phone, he was reassuring, gave us many useful advices and customised an excellent package for us. He also kept in touch and reassured my father back in India, while I was in Africa with no network.
Reuben our guide in Kenya was amazing. He was so cautious about our well being. He was also a very smart individual; he and I had very interesting geo-political discussions on Africa during our long drives.
Godfrey, our guide in Tanzania, was an absolute sweetheart! He was such a charming person to talk to. With over 15 years of wildlife experience, he knew just about everything! From trees, to animals, birds, mountains, everything! He even carried a small, handy wildlife book that I borrowed from him to read during the trip. Him and the cook made us feel like royalty; keeping our table ready every night, cooking our requests and not letting us move a single muscle.
In short, the team made sure we had the ultimate East Africa Adventure. We saw all the animals, learned about their culture and history and enjoyed their ravenous food! We feel so incredibly grateful and happy to have found this company. They have become our friends and that made our trip so much more special!

Excellent operator, great communication, great team, great food and great experience
5/5

We were searching for a good but affordable TO to do a 6d/5n Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. We contacted almost 20 different agencies. Almost all seemed to be good but in the end we decided for SM.

Why?
1. excellent communication with Romeo, the owner, who was very thorough, clear and patient in answering all the questions we had beforehand
2. It was the cheapest operator
3. We only found good reviews online

How was it then?
One word: excellent. This is not a „I want to help and promote an acency“-review what I am writing here. I really mean it. The staff (our guide was Moses, our cook was Rama) was indeed very very caring and ambitious that we felt well during the whole safari. Moses is a very nice and funny guy, with good language skills and an eagle eye when it comes to animal spotting. His knowledge was great also. Rama has been cooking exceptional for us. Every meal, even a simple breakfast was just great and tasty. There was nothing left to wish for.
We saw amazing landscapes, unbelievable fauna (including the Big 5) and a density of wildlife we could not imagine before actually seeing it.
To sum it up: We highly, highly recommend using Safari Multiways as a tour operator for your safari.
