Unforgettable experiences in the national parks of Tanzania
5/5

At the end of 2017 we had a safari through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The safari was booked through Mwema and run by African Wonderland in Tanzania. The preparation over Simon In Nairobi worked perfectly. All questions and requests were clarified to the fullest satisfaction. We have seen many animals in these 5 days and made great photos. Willson, our driver was very networked and has always found places where animals were observed on the radio or mobile phone. The Mbalageti Lodge in Serengeti was just awesome. The cabins are located away from the main house, but at night you are brought by a security guard from and to the main building. Such a luxury of food and accommodation we had not expected in the Serengeti.
The drive by jeep from Lake Manyara to Mbalageti Lodge runs from east to west through the entire Serengeti. The roads are unpaved slopes. The one-hour drive in one direction was a real ordeal, because you are completely shaken and dusted. Whether we would take that again, I do not know. The many breakdown vehicles on the way were also not very encouraging. But our driver and his Jeep have brought us well to their destination.
Otherwise you have to be careful with the costs. On our bill was 6 days safari, but actually it was only 5. The 6th day consisted of a half-day drive back to Arusha. We had later booked the visit of a Massai village. That was interesting, but hardly any of the $ 50 that was taken for it arrived at the Maasai, because the Maasai was still putting pressure on us to buy overpriced handicrafts.
It was already a strange feeling to pay a 4-digit amount in advance and not to know, if then at the airport really someone to pick up. Everything worked out great for us.
Overall, the safari was definitely a unique experience that we will not forget.

Blacksands safari is well organised and personal with its clients. It made good their promise and delivered beyond their promise.
I was thoroughly impressed.
Keep up the great work.

Great experience form start to finish
5/5

I have been impressed with Elvis, the owner, in my dealings with him from the beginning. He is responsive, knowledgeable and very open to working with you to help you have the experience you want. He works with amazing staff. We went to S. Africa, to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and into Botswana. Did Safri in Kruger National park as well as Chobe and did boat safari on Zambize River and the Chobe River. Different guides in different place because El Mundo Safaris works with local people. What a difference it can make to have a guide from the area you are visiting. There were hiccups at times (as is common with travel) and El Mundo Safaris handled each issue professionally and timely. The knowledge of teh guides and the drivers added layers and dimensions to the trip beyond just how amazing it was to BE on a safari and to see things like a leopard in a tree with it's half eaten impala tucked under his paw. You cannot see that on a reserve where the wild animals are fed by people. My husband was ambivalent about going to Africa and did not have going on a safari on his (long) list of things to see and do. Now, he says it is a trip that should be on everyone's short list. We want to go to Tanzania/Kenya area next and we will be doing it with EL Mundo Safaris.

They are professionals in their work
5/5

Sir Michaels tours had the best communication skills that I was expecting them to have. Topped with professionalism in delivering their services in time, lending a good ear and making sure we were satisfied with the services. They did deliver and surpassed our expectations. The trip to both Maasai Mara and Mombasa (south coast), Diani was amazing. I would Choose them over and over again.
I would love to thank Mike Macharia and the team, especially DiK DiK for the best service and company ever, my parents enjoyed.

Attentive Team Helped Us Plan Best Family Trip Ever
5/5

Planet Africa absolutely nailed it. They worked closely with us to make sure they understood what we wanted to accomplish and to fit our budget. They explored different options and presented them to us to consider. They were able to tell us about each of the specific properties at which we stayed so we could make informed decisions. And then while we were in Kenya, everything was seamless - from our arrival at NBO, to multiple in-country flights, to our departure. Planet Africa made it incredibly easy.

Saw the Big Five!

Everyone at Cheetah Plains was top notch. Our guide, Myke, was very professional and interested in helping us see as much wildlife as he could. The location was ideal. During the day, we lounged by the pool and watched the hippos and elephants play in the pond. It was like a private viewing screen. Rhinos and other animals appeared out of nowhere while we were having dinner. It was absolutely amazing. We had a true wilderness experience, but did not live like we were in the wilderness. Wonderful food and accommodations.

We also visited Cape Town and many towns along the Garden Route. It was a blast. Beautiful scenery and so much to do. The food was excellent everywhere we went. Ostrich was amazing.

About: Tanzania
A must do experience to feel connected to Nature.

We made a 6 day safari (Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) followed by some time in Zanzibar.
Would we repeat it, we would´nt skip any of these places. Amazing wildlife. We could even catch a leopard with a prey, which is rare in daytime. Impressive the wildbeasts migrating along Serengeti savana. Ngorongoro is astonishing, a true sanctuary. We were fortunate to have Andrew as a guide, no efforts spared to fullfill our aims. Andrew was very resourceful when we had problems with the car.
We must emphasize the good quality of the lodges (Nsya Lodge, Eileens Trees and Ngoromgoro Rhino Lodge) and the unforgetful tented lodges (Osupuko and Tortilis). In everyone of them sympathy and quality and the food above our expectations.
In Zanzibar, wandering Stone Town, the harbour, the market, a trip to Prisoner´s Island, was a perfect end to our journey.
