Vaule for the Spend
Communications are great. Robert was very informative and quick responded. Ramond the guide was very active and tried to give maximum experience at first two days. but We couldnt do much in third day. We supposed to go for a morning game drive but didnot made it. Accommodations need to be bit more upgrade since limited facilities were available. Karibu is overall good valued for the money.

Perfect and excellent African experience
We just returned from a 7-day trip with Asili Explorer Safaris, and wanted to post a review. We had difficulty finding a safari that would allow children, as we were two families with kids ranging from 5-16. What luck to get in touch with Asili! They were extremely professional, always quick with replies and informative emails on packing suggestions, documentation, etc. The trip was so enjoyable and stress free, as they thought of everything, and all transfers went off seamlessly.
We spent 2 nights in a tented camp at Ngorongoro, 4 nights at the lovely Tented Lodge near Seronera in Serengeti and 1 night at Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. It was a perfect mix with excellent game viewing. Thanks Asili Explorer!

Great Tanzanian Adventure
Wayfairer Travel set up a wonderful trip for me to sister lodges Lake Manze and Madonya Old River on the southern circuit and flights with Coastal Aviation. From booking to the last flight back to Dar Es Salaam every minute was first class. Pre-trip service by Wayfairer was super and both lodges, game drives and flights exceeded my every expectation. Trip of a lifetime!!

We had the Dream Safari and Climbing Kilimanjaro with Taste of Afrika
Me and my family we had the best and professional services on our 7 Days climbing Mount Kilimanjaro through Machame route combined with 3 days budgeted safari with taste of afrika safaris as the local tour Company in Moshi, we really had nice time and we recommend you to plan your trip .
We had Very good climbing equipments from their office, We also had professional Guides, Chef’s and Porters. The transfer to and from Kilimanjaro Airport was punctual, the food during our Climbing Kilimanjaro and Safari was good and delicious, accommodation before and after starting our Climbing Kilimanjaro and after safari too were perfect.
Seka and the whole team of taste of afrika were always listening to our wishes before and during our time in Tanzania (Moses, Baraka, Massawe and Peter) We really recommend Taste Of Afrika Safaris to organize your trip in Tanzania.
They gave us the best offer price fitted to our Budget of the whole trip.
Thanks alot,
(Asante sana)

Thoroughly investigate prior to booking
Purchased a Safari Via a charity. They were very difficult to communicate with, did not have black out dates, once we started nailing down trip, my dates became unavailable, then they became unresponsive, then when I reached out Charity, they all of a sudden had our dates available but then tried to charge us fees to get to the location of more then $8,000. for a few hours drive. They are suppose to be a non profit however in further research, it is difficult to find information about that part. They had not kept up their paperwork and it had just gotten filed a year prior. We have decided not to trust them on such an important vacation. if they can't communicate now, what would we do in a foreign company. Do your research.

Excellent tour company
I chose to go with Top Creams because they were the most organised and responsive company. Erastus was easily in touch throughout and regularly checked in to make sure we were enjoying our safari. We had an amazing time and would recommend this company to anyone looking to do a safari

An unforgettable fortnight in Botswana closer to nature than I have ever been
We were a family group of 6 adults. The whole holiday was planned with our requests and needs in mind. Every lodge that we stayed in was of a very high standard, but the highlight for me was the set up of the mobile safari camps. I loved everything about them from the exceptionally friendly staff who genuinely seemed to love what they were doing and got on very well together, the superb food cooked in what must be pretty challenging conditions, the very comfortable tents with real beds, hot water bottles and flushing toilets, the 'chill out tent' where we could relax and write up the day's doings or just watch the world go by, the night times round the log fires under the stars, to the exceptional way we were looked after by Rob during the day. From the hard boiled eggs and nibbles on the makeshift table on the front of our jeep after our early morning porridge to the sundowners which took account of all our individual tastes (mostly gin and tonic!) we relished every moment. Rob's knowledge and tracking skills were amazing and we saw so much, and learned a lot. We saw everything that we'd hoped for - lions (very close to our tent demolishing a warthog!) elephants wandering through the camp and on one occasion approaching near to us in the jeep - keep calm is the motto (!), innumerable birds which kept my bird loving sister in seventh heaven, and the variety of terrain from the Okavango to the Kalahari with fascinating glimpses in between from our little flights from runways often shared with zebra! We loved every minute and would go back like a shot, and would recommend anyone to travel with Golden Africa. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Perfect touroperator in an amazing country!
Three weeks optimally enjoyed many facets in this versatile country. From the hectics in Kampala to quad driving and rafting near Jinja, next to the Nile. Furthermore, we visited tribes in their traditional living environment, saw the most beautiful wildlife parks and went into the jungle to spot chimpanzees + gorillas. It was one big party!
Also the varied accommodations contributed to this, but especially our guide/driver David. His knowledge of business, sense of humor and warm personality we'll Always remember.

Fantastic African Safari .. memories for a lifetime
We just wrapped up a fantastic 14day safari through Kenya and Tanzania, with a side trip to Victoria Falls (Zambia and Zimbabwe). Lifetime of memories and a truly amazing experience, thanks to African Sunset Safaris.
Simply put, you can’t go wrong with Haron Gashao, owner of African Sunset Safaris. I contacted a lot of tour operators and researched heavily over a couple of months before picking Haron to organize the trip for our group of 10 (three families). We wanted a customized itinerary with a circular routing .. Nairobi, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Amboseli, Tsavo West (Salt Lick) .. which meant crossing the border at Isabenia (into Tanzania) and Namanga (into Kenya). Haron worked with me patiently through multiple iterations of the itinerary revisions and made thoughtful suggestions that made this trip so much more enjoyable. We experienced western parts of Mara and Serengeti that tourists normally don’t see. To reduce our journey time from Mara to Serengeti (through Isabenia), Haron arranged for us to stay a night each at Mara Engai and Zebra K Bush Camp .. fabulous experiences!
We had Patrick in Nairobi, Nick and Julius in Mara, Peter and Rogers in Serengeti, Joe and Ben in Amboseli/Salt Lick .. all fabulous guide-cum-drivers. Even though the dirt roads can be challenging, the Landcruiser 4x4 vehicles were very comfortable .. you get a vigorous African massage. The game viewing was terrific and the guides were quick to find the hot spots for us to see game up-close .. we saw Big 5 and a whole lot more. They regaled us with stories about the Masai and the local culture, mixed in with funny anecdotes about wildlife. The properties we stayed at were all top-notch .. Windsor Hotel (Nairobi), Zambezi Waterfront (Livingstone), Sarova Game Lodge (Mara), Mara Engai (Mara), Zebra K Bush Camp (Serengeti), Serena Safari Lodge (Serengeti), Serena Ngorongoro Crater Rim Lodge, Serena Amboseli Lodge, Sarova Salt Lick Lodge. We had 5 vegetarians in our group of 10 .. the chefs at each property went out of the way to prepare special meals for us. The warm Jambos and Karibus from the folks we met in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe made this trip so memorable.
This trip has been memorable for the beautiful scenery, unbelievable game viewing, generous and friendly people we met along the way, elegant and comfortable lodges, variety of experiences and pleasant weather. But most of all, it was Haron's personal attention right from the planning phase to our arrival and throughout our trip that made the biggest difference for us. He met each of the arriving parties at the airport, was there at the border crossings and was is constant touch with us over WhatsApp .. note sure when the man sleeps! When we had a minor hiccup with Kenya Airways on the return flight from Livingstone, Haron was quick to roll with it and made alternate arrangements for us to be picked up at Nairobi from the red-eye flight and head out to Mara to begin our Safari.
If you are looking for personal attention, a worry-free vacation and the best value there is, get in touch with Haron and you’re in for a real treat! He tells me his website is getting a fresh update so it should be even easier to research and custom design your own dream African Safari.
Thank you Haron and the team at African Sunset Safaris for a truly remarkable vacation!
