Amazing experience with Eddie
The Kruger Safari tour was simply incredible. Eddie "the happy Chappie" made everything possible. We spotted 4 out of 5 big four animals, the ugly 5, and many more. I can only give max score to him and the tour.

My tour operator, George Mulinge, is a great guy. I love how he ensured we didn't miss any action!
I love that Axis Africa is super organized and good to it's clients.

Safari trip of a lifetime to see the best of Kenya and Tanzania
The 11 night tour that Lucy organised for us through Kenya and Tanzania was amazing. We had the most wonderful time and the amount of wildlife we saw was incredible with some rare viewings of big cats hunting etc and thousands of other animals. We saw the big 5 within 2 days and many more times after that too. We visited Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Victoria, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Amboselli.
The itinerary was perfect, we were driving for long periods most days with early morning starts and picnic lunches but we knew about that in advance from the itinerary so it wasn't a problem. We really wanted to maximise our time in the parks seeing the wildlife for photography which we definitely achieved with our busy itinerary.
Overall we preferred driving in Kenya to Tanzania as it was at a more relaxed pace. Because of the longer distances to be covered each day in Tanzania some of the driving was faster on very bumpy roads and tracks, some people may prefer a slower pace and a shorter itinerary because of this. Both of our driver guides Kim in Kenya and Geovanni in Tanzania were excellent, very friendly, gave us lots of interesting information and knew where to take us for the best game viewing. We saw such fantastic sights in both countries we could not really pick a favourite, there were so many highlights every day.
The accommodation and food standards varied with the lodges being more luxurious than tented camps but we enjoyed the experience of staying at all of them. For us the best rooms and surroundings were at Marera Mountain View Lodge which was such a beautiful place to stay but all the others were of a good to very good standard. Staff everywhere are very helpful and friendly and the food is plentiful with a good variety.
Lucy's help and advice planning our excellent trip of a lifetime was greatly appreciated. Philomena was also great meeting us at Nairobi airport on arrival late at night and joining us for the drive back at the end of our trip.
We highly recommend Mara Triangle to anybody who may be thinking of an African safari holiday in future.

This is a most amazing Lodge and the staff are awesome
We stayed in September 24 and the lodge is fantastic and the staff are really amazing. Sam and Confidence were awesome guides, Moses an amazing manager and Trinity a great front of house. The Chef cooked really great food throughout (sorry we can't recall her name).
Having an elephant come up the the lodge was stunning and thanks to Sam we got to see so much, including the big 5,
We're already planning another trip

Jockey Tours - superb company to deal with
Jockey Tours were superb, I could not fault them. My wife and I booked their 4 day 3 night safari to the Masai Mara in Jan 2023, and despite the price for entry to the park being increased massively, Jockey Tours very kindly agreed to honour the original price that they had quoted for our safari - which they didn’t have to do. We were fortunate that the guide/driver that Jockey Tours provided us was Julius, who was simply FIRST RATE. His knowledge, personality and general demeanour was so good it is impossible to put into words. I have no hesitation in recommending Jockey Tours and Julius, and will definitely be using them again.

7 days personalize safari
We did a 7 days private safari with mountains warriors and everything was as we have requested. Very easy with the communication and very helpful with the planning. Also our driver Simon was very knowledgeable and always trying for the best. Great memories we definitely will recommend them to everyone!

Incredible once in a lifetime experience
I enquired about this 9-day-tour on a short term notice, just one week before it started, and the detailed offer came instantly and well prepared, so I booked. And everything worked out to my absolute satisfaction, starting with the airport pick-up and transfer to the first lodge, and then all the way to the last day.
I was stunned to find out that I was the only guest, and instead of cancelling the tour, Xaa Safaris realized the trip just with me! So I found myself with a safari car, a driver/ranger, 3 wonderful camp hands - one of them a chef, who each day miraculously produced the most wonderful food in the midst of the bush - and a local guide in the Okavango-Delta for spectacular walking safaris. Wherever we arrived, the tents (with open-air shower and toilet), the kitchen and the eating canopy were put up in no time, while I was taken on a sunset-safari-drive. When we returned, the fire in the middle of the camp was burning, tea and dinner was ready and we had the most wonderful chats together.
Each day began with an overwhelming sunrise drive at around 6am, which was followed by a rich breakfast/lunch and a siesta during the hot hours, and ended with a sunset-safari at around 4pm, when most animals are out from their hiding spots. And not to forget the tasty dinners at nightfall. The driver was an experienced track reader and had no problems to find ALL the animals, even twice a leopard absolutely close to us. My emotions soared into the sky.
Spending 6 nights (2 nights per park) in tents in the bush, with a giraffe feeding nearby and being surrounded with all the sounds of night animals is so different to staying in a lodge, if you are the adventurous character. I can honestly say that not 1 second did I feel endangered, because I was in such competent hands, who, for example, surrounded the camp each night with a circle of candles.
Driving on sandy roads for the transfer from one park to the other was the most strenuous part and is not recommended if you suffer from car sickness. But this is what Botswanan road are - nature tracks and you might encounter elephant crossings more than once. It was a fantastic journey I will not forget all my life - thank you so much, Xaa Safaris, I am very grateful!
