Very responsive, well priced, and overall a great experience!
5/5

We took a leap of faith and we had a wonderful time in our 4-day Safari!
We found Savannah Woods Safari online, without any specific reference. However, from our interactions on WhatsApp with Lucy, I had a very good feeling. They were responsive and accommodating, even with our several changes of plans. The communication was always professional, and the agenda shared was extremely detailed and descriptive. Last but not least, the price was comparable or better than most of the other companies we contacted.
We decided to go with them, going for a 4-day safari in Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. We did a bit of a leap of faith, but it paid off!
Kevin, our tour guide who with us for the whole 4 days, was amazing. He was talkative, attentive, and with a lot of experience, both in Maasai Mara and in Lake Nakuru National Park.
I would recommend both this agency and Kevin for any other trip in Kenya :)

Great value
5/5

My friend and I had a nice safari experience. We booked a 7 day safari. The price was fair and it suited what we were looking for.
Fiona gave us a short onboarding when we arrived in Kenya, with the most essential preparations and information. She checked in regularly to ensure we were okay and managed some issues with lost luggage.
The accommodation and especially the tented camps were above our expectations.
Our tour guide and driver Boniface was good and professional.

Amazing adventure with a fantastic guide
5/5

Filbert Chua did an excellent job as one of our guides under recent trip to Tanzania. Fabric clearly demonstrated his personal commitment to excellence, respect, and compassion, while performing his job as a safari guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and was enthusiastic in showing and explaining all aspects of wildlife and terrain in areas of Tanzania we visited. He has excellent communication skills and frequently check to make sure that all guests understood what he was saying to them. Filbert demonstrated genuine desire to help others and went above and beyond the group expectations. Made sure that all guests were safe and comfortable. He is very kind and considerate and consistently help travelers with individual photography needs. He remembered the special interest of guest, and I observed him go out of his way to point out a special interest to travelers each day Filbert is one of those rare individuals who appear to get along with. He was extremely considerate of all people in the group and it was a favorite among the group. I am very pleased to travel with Filbert Chuwa As my guide and I hope I will have the opportunity to travel with Filbert again

Omari is the guide you have always dreamed : accurate in the organization of the trip , in the choise of the place to visit, in the timing , in the suggestion of the food. And last but not least he speaks very good English (and Italian) and it is the most important thing to enjoy your vacation

About: Botswana
In the middle of the nature

5/5

I went to Botswana with my sister and was amazing to be in their vast and perfectly well preserved national parks.
It is a priviledge to be with not many tourism in the middle of a beautiful and pristine nature, that belong to the animals and being and spectator of all that wild life.
Botswana are doing well, preserving its amazing natural heritage from the massive tourism.
We stayed in incredible and small lodges, saw a lot of natural life and unforgeatable countryside and all the guides and personnal were very profesional, knowleadge and kind.
Absolutamente worth the value for money

About: Uganda
A Lush Oasis with So Much to See
Overall rating
5/5

My wife and I did a 5 day Uganda safari. Our guide, Francis, picked us up from our hotel in Entebbe and we drove several hours to start our trip at Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP).

Even though we visited during the rainy season, we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our trip. The drive to QENP was interesting because you drive through many small towns where you can see the local vendors selling produce on the side of the road. Our guide was happy to stop whenever we requested, so long as it was safe. The further you go, the landscape begins to change. It was beautiful.

QENP was absolutely stunning. We saw nearly all the animals we wanted to see and Francis went above and beyond to make sure we fully enjoyed our experience. We were even lucky enough to see the chimpanzees when we went chimpanzee tracking on our 2nd day.

On our way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, we drove to the Ishasha sector, which was unique in its own way and we were able to observe a tree climbing lion resting in a tree.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi was incredible. We were lucky, where it only took us 30 minutes to find the gorilla family we were looking for, but apparently it can sometimes take up to 3 hours to find the gorillas. It was such a unique experience. I will never forget it.

Our last night was at Lake Bunyonyi, which was beautiful and a perfect way to wind down to end our trip.

We were very impressed by all of the lodges we stayed at. Everything was clean and very nice (We opted for Mid-Luxury). All of the staff and locals we encountered were so friendly and spoke great English.

In my opinion, Uganda is a must visit in Africa. Our guide Francis was fantastic. His experience and knowledge made us feel safe the entire time and he also answered any question we had.

Uganda has so much to offer and we didn’t even get to see everything due to our safari only being 5 days.

Such an unforgettable trip. I highly recommend.
