Incredible Botswana African experience

We travelled as a family of 4 – 2 adult children.
We were treated to a 10day safari from Kasane to Maun.
We chose through Stanza’s recommendations, to have 3 nights at each camp – Savuti, Khwai and Moremi. This gave us 2 full days to track and get to know the area well enough.
Spencer was our guide/driver – he is very experienced, highly likeable and an amazing guy.
Ronnie, Hakeem and Amos – fantastic camp team. Their preparation and love is genuine, always fun in camp- lots of smiles and laughs.
Food – Amos, you da man.
Expect dust and bumps – lots of them, you are in Africa but also expect a lifetime experience.
Have a buff or mask for the dust.
Botswana is clean – NO litter
You go for the experience but it’s the people that make it special and ABL certainly did this for us.

wild world, making you excited. Good memory will last a quite long time.
This trip was higher than what we expected. Our guide Samuel has amazing skill for seeking out wild animals. We saw adult male, pride, cheetah, leopard... too numerous to count. The special thing is we have seen the crossing of mara river under our guide's incredible knowledge / experience and drive skill.
The travel was perfect, happiness throughout the entire journey. Say thank you, Samuel!

We just completed a fantastic 5-day family safari with Date Tours and Safaris, and it was an unforgettable experience!
The planning was seamless, with a tailored itinerary that met our family’s interests. Our guide was knowledgeable and ensured our comfort throughout the trip. We enjoyed incredible wildlife sightings, from lions to elephants, and the hot air balloon ride at sunrise was a highlight.

Definitely a trustworthy travel agency
We just came back from the Lappet Fsced Safari and we are still not feeling calm. It was an experience of a lifetime. We saw the Big Five and many other animals. We would like to especially thank our guide NOEL for his driving skills, ability to find animals, knowledge of animals, he always saw what we couldn't see, and it was easy to communicate with him. We were lucky to have such a guide. He is definitely a competent 5-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ guide. Thank him again for making our holiday a pleasant and unforgettable one!

Knowledgeable and reliable safari expert
We had a great experience with Martin at Earth Wings. We visited Amboseli (elephants and big cats), Lake Naivasha (hippos), Lake Nakuru (rhinos, water buffalos, giraffes) and Masai Mara (hot air balloon, the Big 5, the Ugly 5 and many more).
Communication: excellent throughout the process from first contact with quick replies to all my queries. Martin was transparent about pricing which helped comparing the packages offered by other/larger companies.
Accommodation: we opted for middle priced hotels which Martin booked for us and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lodges, food and general care from the staff. Particular shoutout to The Zebra River hotel at Masai Mara which was excellent and felt well above what we expected.
Transport/Comfort:
we opted for a Land Cruiser for the 2 of us rather than a minibus or sharing and were happy with the extra legroom & comfort not to mention using the rougher roads which increased our chances of seeing the animals up close. You could tell the organised tours as they’ve all had jam packed cars who looked longingly at all the space we’ve had.
Payments:
We’ve had to transfer a 30% deposit upfront to secure the booking. Being from the UK we were quite apprehensive transferring money to an account in Africa but it was fine and the fact that the majority could be paid in cash on arrival made us comfortable.
Guide’s knowledge and care:
Martin’s English is perfect, he knows all about the animals, the flora, Kenya and the people and generally had good conversations with lots of laughter. Martin is a smooth driver with intricate knowledge of all the corners of the parks (he has been working as a guide for circa 20 yrs) which meant we’ve seen all the animals we wanted up close incl the Big 5 (in one day), wilder-beasts crossing the famous Masai River, saw hidden lion cubs, a rare black rhino etc etc. Martin was very flexible and made helpful suggestions tailoring our schedule depending on the weather.
To summarise we couldn’t recommend Martin and Earth Wings more. The entire experience exceeded all of our expectations. I’ve had some reservations initially because this company doesn’t have as many reviews as other companies but it’s a real hidden gem and we feel lucky to experience it all. We didn’t realise how much time we’d be spending with our tour guide so recommend choosing someone you can chat to and Martin is excellent conversation, about his profession and otherwise!

Outstanding Customer Service
As a service provider, Africa Moja Tours is outstanding! Our tour guides were early, very accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and above all else enthusiastic. It’s easy to apply ratings when they are measurable, but our tour guides were so good, and it could easily be detected that they truly wanted to do a good job, that they were like family members – we took care of each other and had tons of fun. Given was nicknamed Superman because he had an uncanny ability to spot the animals. One instance Given spotted a male Ostrich in the distance and pointed in the general direction, so I pulled up my camera with a 300mm lens and could not find the Ostrich. So, I then pulled out my binoculars and found a small black “spot” running through the bush. His unaided sight was better than my high-powered optics. My wife and I had the time of our lives with this company.
We also booked a one-day tour of the Cradle of Humankind with Tumi and Solley. They were both so much fun to be around and made the trip well worth it. If it were possible to assign 10 stars, I would give this company that rating. My wife and I are forever grateful!
