While visiting Uganda for business, we had 2 extra days and were hoping to see as much as we possibly could. We wanted to get picked up in Kigali, Rwanda, go to Bwindi to see gorillas, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and then end up in Mbarara. I reached out to several tour operators, and most said that was not one of their offerings so they could not help, but Safari Vacations was immediately amenable to customizing our trip exactly as we wanted. They also recommended lodging outside of Queen Elizabeth NP and arranged for a river boat cruise/tour which was delightful.
I worked with Jason via email throughout the booking process. He was prompt and responsive. I had all of the details of our trip ahead of time, so I knew where we were going, how long it would take, etc. The final price we were quoted was very reasonable for the activities we had included, especially given how far we were being transported.
There were 3 particular instances that stood out in my mind which put Safari Vacations at the 5-star level:
1. After leaving Kigali at 3am, our driver, Alex, noticed something amiss with the car. He was on the phone immediately making arrangements to swap cars at the border. When it turns out that the car wasn't going to make it to the border, he arranged a car to pick us up at get us there. Car trouble happens to us all, but I was very impressed at how proactive Alex was about making other arrangements so this was barely a small hiccup and not a major disruption.
2. Safari Vacations arranged for us to track one of the gorilla families that was more accessible from the road given our tight schedule. Some people walk for hours to see gorillas, but we found them within 10 minutes of starting out. This extra effort ensured that we were able to spend our full hour with the gorillas and still make it to our next destination on time.
3. Alex was eager to help with anything we requested, be it a lunch break while driving, finding an ATM, helping me with a challenging border situation with my luggage, or calling our lodging in Mbarara to ensure door-to-door service.

Bespoke Luxury Safari in Tanzania
We did a bespoke 7 days safari with Tanzania Wildlife Adventures and had a wonderful experience. Patrick and his team at the office were excellent in getting us exactly what we were looking for. Exclusive lodges and limited travel by road between the parks.
Our guide Malkiot was superman. He went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable in the vehicle, his witty conversation kept us captivated as he expertly guided us through the parks encountering different species of wildlife and birds. His keen eyesight and uncanny instinct led us to many animals.
Our time in the lodges was remarkably fantastic. I was very impressed by the quality of service in these properties. We were treated like royalty and really enjoyed our time there. I was particularly taken by Ngorongoro Wild Camp which was exquisite.

A very good stay with a great safari.
6 months before my trip to Kenya, I started looking for a suitable itinerary on Safaribookings.com.
However, I have noticed that companies disappear from the page or change their name when bad reviews are posted. After a long search, I finally found a suitable company - Afrikan Accent Adventures.
Helen answered all my questions and guaranteed a high class safari. She gave me a warm welcome in Nairobi and helped me book a hotel in Nairobi even after 8 days of safari.
The 8 day safari was great. I saw more animals than I could imagine and the knowledgeable guide Nicholas told me about every bird and animal I saw.
I realized that a safari is not just about seeing animals, but getting to know their lifestyle and eating habits.
I came to the conclusion that lions do not hunt in the morning, but only when they are hungry, usually they sleep.
I find hyenas and giraffes the most interesting.
I saw the Big Five and the Ugly Five.
I recommend Afrikan Accent Adventures to those who want to have a good rest and experience a real safari with off-road driving in the national park.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience and the team exceeded my expectations. They were very responsive to my WhatsApp messages ensuring that all of the details were taken care of. It was one of the most magical days in my life
The 3 day safari with Omar and Victor were incredible. The food is always completely freshly cooked and really good. Omar is just great. He always made sure everyone is satisfied, he is funny, understanding and knows everything about the animals.
He knew the perfect spots to see all the animals we were super lucky seeing everything within the days.
It’s super well organized aswell.
Worth every penny.

Honest
from the beginning they responded with my concerns about the safari. the response was quick and precise.
They fulfilled everything agreed in the package. The car was in very good condition. our driver jhon was very respectful and fulfilled with the times, always cautious considering we were carrying my four-year-old daughter.

Doing the job because you love it, not because of money
These 3 days in Safari + 2 nights in hotel + transfer from and to airport were amazing. The whole organization, communication, service were on really high level. There is not one thing I would complain about. But Safari tour on itself - one of the greatest experiences in my life. Our tour guide Omar is loving his job. He did everything we wished for. He showed us every animal, all of the Big5, explained und thought us everything he knew about the animals (and he knows a lot). Tour guide and driver you can just wish for. Our cook Viktor was responsible for our food and it was way more better than we expected. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious every time. We had to do nothing, everything was prepared for us, we just enjoyed every moment. All together, a huge recommendation.
