Fantastic experience. We learned so much about life in Uganda from our knowledgable guides
Shoebill safaris provided an excellent service which went beyond our expectations. We felt very well looked after throughout our tour and the team responded well to the needs of our large family group (18 people). The home stay part of the tour gave us an excellent insight into rural life in Uganda. The tour guides were very knowledgable about wildlife, particularly the many amazing birds of Uganda. I would not hesitate to recommend Shoebill safaris to anyone wanting to visit Uganda.

Family friendly tour
Today was our second trip to Wildlife Safari Exploreans. Obviously, we liked it enough to return! Beautiful countryside, happy and healthy animals, up-close and conservationism and FAMILY friendly.

Outstanding Namibia and Botswana specialist
This Windhoek travel agency did an excellent job of booking our three week self-drive thru Namibia and Botswana. We stayed at a mix of higher and mid priced lodges, guest houses and tented camps.
Anita did a great job of booking lodges and activities that we wanted and gave us useful alternatives when needed. She booked airport transfer and really had a good handle on the rental car options/companies.
Their pricing was totally transparent and allowed us to splurge and economize in ways that met our needs.
The initial payment was thru PayPal with main payment thru Visa.
In addition, their website is a good information source for planning.
Highly recommend. I got quotes from Two other companies but they were more expensive. In addition, I really like to support the country that I am visiting vs some folks based in US/Europe.

I had an awesome safari and really appreciated our drivers Kakasii and Leslie for a great experience
The itinerary sent out ahead of the trip and info on what to expect and clothes to wear was great. Enjoyed getting to meet our drivers Kakasii and Leslie the night before our safari and getting to go over the itinerary right before leaving was also helpful. Had a great safari, got to see the Big 5 and many more animals. I was amazed at how close the animals were at times, the lion walking down the road right at us and then beside our vehicle was priceless. Kakasii and Leslie were fantastic as they not only showed us the wild life but gave us facts about the animals and the National Parks, Tanzania and Africa. They had cold bottled water for us and made sure we all stayed hydrated and the importance to keep drinking water. We had great food and our lodging was excellent also. They both made sure all of us were enjoying the experience and really got to know each of us. I can't thank them and Brenda enough for a fantastic safari, I really enjoyed my time with them and will never forget my favorite line from Kakasii "polepole".
2 families, 6 wild teenagers, plenty of wild animals and 2 wild guides!
It took us a long time to choose a Mobile Safari operator for our 10 night tour in Botswana and we are so glad that Kalahari Skies was the chosen one. There are a lot of people to keep happy when 2 Australian families of 5 are travelling and Kalahari Skies managed to do that with professional excellence. We were in the capable, friendly and caring hands of guides Newman and Killo. After 10 nights they were part of the family.
Every part of the safari was well planned with fabulous tents, hot showers, delicious food (keeping the vegetarian and gluten free very happy), friendly smiles, animal knowledge etc etc. However, the real reason you want to go with Kalahari Skies is because their vehicles are the best in the business. Many times we drove past other companies with open safari vehicles early in the morning to see their clients so cold and miserable while we stayed toasty warm behind the sliding windows. A couple of hours later we would just drop the windows right down and enjoy being mere metres away from the amazing display of healthy predators and their prey. Those vehicles were thrashed along the dirt roads and stood up to the test very well (we were bogged once but that's part of the adventure!)
The Bradleys and Bivianos would like to give their sincere thanks to the beautiful people that are Newman and Killo, the wonderful cooks that are George (who somehow managed to make a 50th Birthday cake on an open fire) and Matteo (who can speak Chinese), the fabulous bar stocker that is JT and our amazing 'jacks of all trades', Ronald and Matsuabe.

Kilimanjaro 7 Day Lemosho Route
Barafu Tours & Safaris were absolutely fantastic to deal with from the very first interaction all the way through the trip. The owner, Chance, ensured that everything me and my travel partner needed was dealt with immediately and with the utmost professionalism. We were treated as family and no ask was too much.
All details of our trip were managed by Chance, he provided assurances when required, he recommended tours and visits and even put us in contact with associates in Zanzibar (who were also exceptional).
Our team of guides, chefs and porters were all fantastic individuals and a credit to Barafu Tours. We felt safe every day on our expedition and all factors were communicated to us clearly and appropriately. The expedition itself went off without any issues at all.
My Kilimanjaro climb was made much easier by the team at Barafu and I can't thank them enough.

Beautiful area filled with amazing wildlife, fantastic scenery and friendly people!
My wife and I visited Ngorongoro Crater in the summer of 2017 and had an amazing time. Our stop here was part of a larger, week-long safari throughout Tanzania so our time was somewhat limited, but our first day began with beautiful panoramic views of the crater from above before later driving into the crater for a day of wildlife viewing. The vastness of the crater kept things from ever feeling crowded, and we enjoyed seeing a variety of animals including lions, giraffe, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, gazelles and much more. Watching the sun go down as we drove out made for one of the best views during our time in Africa.
On our second day, we did a guided hike to Olmoti crater with a park ranger. While the terrain was somewhat steep, the views at the top were well worth it and we would highly recommend this trip as a nice alternative to driving around all day. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us lots of facts about the local area and animals.
Overall, our time in the Nogrongoro crater area was fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to return on a future trip to Africa or Tanzania.

Wildlife is a great host for the human guests.
Masai Mara, the name itself holds its own identity around the globe. It's a paradise for wildlife lovers. This was the very sentences which used to ring in my head before entering beautiful Kenya. And if I was to rate Kenya after my visit, on a scale of 5 then I would have given 6, leaving besides the bitter experience with our tour operator #tourkenyasafariheights, just because of them my rating would go down to 2.
Before travelling to Kenya, I and my friend searched on internet several times about tour operators conducting safaris. From them we shortlisted a few and ultimately finalized #tourkenyasafariheights. The agreed with the price us on all the criteria demanded by us without any terms and conditions.
It was a 6N7D tour which included as promised by #tourkenyasafariheights :
Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve
At 07:30 to 08:00, you will be picked up from your hotel and depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok Town for refueling and lunch. Afterward, you will proceed to the game reserve, arriving at the camp at 14:00. You will then have a little siesta and proceed on the first introduction game viewing at Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will return back to Masai ole moran
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day game viewing within the reserve. The landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. Maasai Mara National Reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. After the game viewing, you can have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. The dinner will be served and you will stay overnight at the Masai ole moran
Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nakuru
Early in the morning, you will have a pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, you will depart the Mara Region for Nakuru and have lunch en-route with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. The dinner and overnight stay will at Flamingo Hill Camp
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of white rhinos while species like Cape buffalos and waterbucks can be seen near the shoreline. Afterward, you will drive to Amboseli National Park arriving late in the evening with game viewing en route to the camp. The dinner and overnight stay will be at Kibo Safari Camp
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
You will have a full day of game drives in this park which contains swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen. You can also see Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak if weather conditions permit. Tour Kenya Safari Heights will cater for your picnic lunch before returning to Kibo Safari Camp
Day 6: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi
In the early morning, you will have a game viewing activity and then return to the LODGE for a full breakfast. Later on, you will be transferred back to Nairobi.
But, what was delivered to us was very different. Not a single pre-breakfast game drive was given to us and all the accommodations as promised by the #tourkenyasafariheights were changed. We used to stay @ about 45-30 mins distance from the main park entrance, because of which I felt time was wasted and I could have enjoyed more. Whereas the accommodations which were promised are very near to the entrance of the parks/inside the parks.
Everyday inbetween 2 parks the car driver of #tourkenyasafariheights would float new names of hotel in which they would provide accommodations for us. Which was really depressing and disturbing at the same time. Because of such uncertainties we failed to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and the lakes on our way.
Furthermore, I would like to mention that #tourkenyasafariheights had promised through messages on on our personal number. That #tourkenyasafariheights would provide lodging at a proper place for us at @Nairobi on the day we arrived and on the day we would depart. Which would be included in the package. It was very disappointing that on the day we arrived they provided accommodations for us @ hotel sunrise which is a pathetic hotel, location is not good. And on the day we arrived @Nairobi after completion of the tour , #tourkenyasafariheights refused to provide any accommodations which was further more disappointing in a foreign land.
Finally, I would suggest to tourists/travellers arriving 1st time. It is just because of the nature's own gift to the land that inspite of such irregularities I would suggest you to visit the place again and again. But be careful with such tour operators and ensure your bookings personally with the hotels which are promised initially by such tour operators.
