What a beautiful experience!
In April we went to Tanzania.
It was partly to visit the student who was doing an internship in a school in Arusha, but also to enjoy the Tanzanian culture.
We wanted to go on safari, experience Arusha, feel Kilimanjaro…
Through acquaintances we called on Ajabu Adventures.
We arranged everything smoothly through Jan. Correct, well developed, understanding, open to communication…
We can confirm that the agreements made were correctly observed.
Compliments for the organization and the guides, it was wonderful. The safaris and the 'big five', the varied overnight accommodations, introduction to the Massai and primitive tribes, the climb to the base camp on Kilimanjaro, the cities of Arusha and Moshi, the local culture... everything we wanted!
Thank you Ajabu Adventures for this unforgettable experience!

Absolutely amazing!
The trip was incredible! We spent two days in the Maasai Mara and two days in Amboseli National Park. Sam and Zack made the trip absolutely amazing! From their talent in spotting animals to their deep knowledge of wildlife, they added so many great dimensions to the experience: fun stories, deep cultural knowledge, top tier photographer skills, and vision that could compete with an eagle.
Everything was so well organized and smooth, it was easy for us to relax and enjoy the experience. They were also so much fun to be around- really positive and with so much knowledge to share!
I am so grateful to have had this experience with them and could not recommend it enough.

Marvel provided Serious Fun!!
We had a fantastic trip with the whole family (four children from 20 down to 9 years old). We were able to customize our agenda a couple times very easily with Marvel before we settled on our itinerary. They were very flexible on times and dates for the trip. We even missed a day due to missing a connecting flight and were still able to squeeze all of our itinerary into one less day. We went white water rafting and on multiple safari's (the one at night was very cool but the shortest at only about an hour). The safaris were great and we say so many of each of the big 5 animals! We toured the breathtaking Victoria Falls and did the helicopter ride over it as well. It is majestic. The Boma dinner and the Sunset boat cruise were both very enjoyable and great fun. But our cultural tour of a village was really the most amazing thing and what we still talk about. The struggles with the basic necessities of life and the work it takes them to survive is incredibly humbling. It was great for our children to see it first hand and learn to be grateful and not take our conveniences for granted. The family that lived in the village was very friendly and informative and even with the struggles of everyday live, very happy people. It was very authentic, not a tourist act. This was our best trip yet and will be hard to top. I very highly recommend Serious Fun and Marvel for your trip. He arranged everything in advance, was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. He personally drove us to most of our destinations and was always on time and a pleasure to be around. Very funny as well! He has also created programs to support the men and families of the area and donates his personal time and money to help others. For this reason alone and many others, Serious Fun is who you should book your trip with. I am 100% confident that you will be very satisfied.

Amazing experience
Every lodge was amazing, an adventure of a lifetime. The meals, which included a packed lunch in the national park picnic spots and breakfast and dinner at the lodges, were excellent. really tasty.
Our tour guide was really kind and considerate. He provided us with extensive knowledge on Tanzania's wildlife, flora, and landscape in addition to answering any questions we had.
Everyone who like game driving should take this tour.
We wholeheartedly endorse them.

Amazing 6 days experience with Solomon
We had an amazing experience during 6 days with Solomon. He did his best to help us to see all the animals in Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. I recommend it 100%. Unforgetable moment!

Knowledgeable, listens, make sure all runs smoothly and develops a tailor made plan
Jessica Mathews, the owner of Dancing Zebras, planned an amazing trip for us to Tanzania, Rwanda and Zanzibar. The accommodations she recommended were all 5 star lodges. Fantastic environments, impeccable service and delicious food. The 2 local tour guides were so passionate about showing us their countries (Tanzania and Rwanda) and were great about answering all our questions and meeting our needs.
The way she divided up the trip was perfect. She encouraged us to do a low key week at the end of our vacation and sent us to The Kilindi Resort in Zanzibar and it was paradise. Just what we needed.
Highlights include seeing The Great Migration (wildebeest, zebras and gazelles journey to Kenya -over 2 million animals go yearly), hundreds of flamingos flying in unison and landing (Ngorongoro Crater), 3 lioness up in an Acacia Tree, a male lion guarding 4 cubs, 2 leopard sightings, watching a family of elephants walk by our lodge room, having a gorilla swipe my shoulder and watching an entire gorilla family interact for an hour, and hiking to a bamboo forest watching golden monkeys swing from tree to tree. We learned so much about the history and culture of these areas through the guides, interaction with staff and drivers and driving and walking through so many diverse areas. The local people were all so kind and welcoming.
It was a trip of a life time and Jessica made it all happen.

Stunning views, awesome food, great people.
Travelling in May the weather was fair and temperatures comfortable between 22-28 degrees. Umkumbe Safari lodge was absolutely stunning and the game drives very good. Booking and confirmation with Rochelle Buys was very straightforward and left us at ease and answered any questions we had prior to travel. As for the safari, we managed to see Lion, Leopard, Pangolin, Elephant and Rhino all on the same drive! Food at the lodge was exceptional and the staff very friendly. A big shout out to Jurie our driver on our game drives, what a friendly, knowledgeable guide. It's something I definitely want to do again and would recommend everyone to try Umkumbe!

Trip of. Lifetime
We went first week of June and weather was perfect, cool mornings and evenings and about 25degrees centigrade in the middle of the day. Scenery and wildlife were incredible and the parks are relatively quiet so no mobs of vehicles. Saw the big 5 plus loads of other animals and birds galore.
Parks - 1 day Tarangire, 2 days Serengeti and 1 day Ngorongoro Crater which was perfect. Would make it an absolute must, great experience, very friendly people, and we felt very safe.
