Top communication already during the booking and payment, then a very nice, personal meeting with Kemy before the trip in the Maun lodge, and finally a perfectly organised trip. The tented camp was in a great location (a herd of elephants passed by several times to feed barely 10 metres away), the camp crew provided us with excellent food, and 'Top Gun' was a stroke of luck as our local guide on our discovery tours on foot and in the mokoro.
Conclusion: Many thanks to the whole team, and I can recommend it unreservedly to any nature lover who is hungry for adventure!

Excellent safari experience with Zaf’s tours
I reached out to Zainab about organising a safari tour for 4 days around the Tarangire national park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.
Zainab responded promptly and gave me a suggested itinerary based on my preferences, with different budget options offered. Zainab was patient as the itinerary was chopped and changed until it suited us. We had only 4 days but wanted to maximise on our experience. Zainab was very transparent throughout the process and I felt very happy booking with Zafs tours. The quotes were also very reasonable, particularly considering we had our own driver and chef for the entire duration of the trip.
We enjoyed a camping safari, one night at Migombani camp and 2 nights in the Serengeti. Migombani camp was truly lovely and had great amenities for a campsite, including a pool! The campsite in the Serengeti was more basic, but the experience is unparalleled.
Our driver was Ramos and our cook was Zakariyya. Our dietary requirements were catered for (halal) and we enjoyed delicious warm food throughout the trip. Each day Zakariya made us delicious and wholesome breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ramos was a delight as well and was attentive to our preferences. When I asked if we could try to experience calving season, Ramos took us to Lake Ndutu. While we didn’t see actual birthing of calves, we did see wildebeest in their many thousands (tens of thousands? It’s hard to tell!) and even saw them crossing the lake en masse. It was truly a surreal David Attenborough moment.
For the rest of the trip, Ramos drove around diligently, trying to show us as much as possible. He took us on sunrise and sunset game drives, and we saw so many amazing things, including the big five (including the elusive rhino at Ngorongoro!) and a cheetah that came onto our vehicle!
We had such a great experience with Zaf’s tours and I would wholeheartedly recommend booking with them.

I recommend it to everyone looking for a wonderful safari with wonderful facilities and services. The guide Daniel was perfect. Excellent guide and driver. Always attentive to our well-being and meeting our needs, exceeding all expectations. The hotel booked is wonderful and everything had already been arranged by the agency. I loved it and if it had 10 stars I would give it... my friends and I were deeply satisfied.

Thanks to Axis Africa and our tour guide Johny for the perfect arrangement, the journey was super enjoyable, we had so much fun and good amount of rest in between. The game drive was fun, with Johny’s eagle eyes , we’ve seen all the Kenya big five and many more 👍🏻👍🏻 the drinking water is well supplied along the journey 😉 everything is just perfect!

Axis Africa was a great experience. We did a safari at Masai Mara, which included a visit to the Masai tribe. We also visited Nakuru and saw more of the big five. The trip was very fun, informative and a once in a lifetime experience. Our tour guide g man was great. He made our experience very fun and full of laughter. I definitely recommend going with Axis if you’re planning on doing safari in Kenya!
