We just came from a 4 day safari trip with Suricata. Uau, so many impresions. Our guide Max was the best. He took us to see so many animals that I could not imagine before the trip. We started as strangers but parted as family
Johnson Burihose of Bujo Safaris guided us on a 5-day unforgettable excursion in Uganda. His passion for his homeland is infectious, and his deep knowledge provides an intimate understanding of the country. Johnson was very communicative way before we arrived; staying in touch until our trip began early with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Bujo Safariâs âtricked outâ Land Cruiser. We had a photo-op stop at the Equator, unforgettable gorilla trek on day 2. Johnson then introduced us to a Pygmy village, offering fascinating cultural insights and a chance to dance with locals. Then onto Lake Bunyonyi, we enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort and Tysonâs captivating stories on the boat ride. Finally, we explored Queen Elizabeth National Park, witnessing a leopardâs huntâa highlight not to be missed. Chimpanzee trek, walking with zebras and giraffes and donât forget, if time allows, the illusive shoebill stork; if youâre lucky you can catch a glimpse in the swamps off Kampala before heading to the airport.
Our group was small, me, my husband and niece and we never felt scared (well âŠthere is a tricky road to the gorillas with no guardrail that gave my heart a jolt) or unattended; Johnson knows everyone and they are all happy to see him. My advice on these safariâs is to bring small money like 20K-50K shillings for tipping. I know it seems all inclusive, but the tipping is not. Ugandans are hardworking amazing people and a little kindness goes a long way

Omar- Very patient, enthusiastic and knowledgable
Omar was a fantastic safari tour guide. We took a trip with him to lake Manyara national park. We had a full safari vehicle with 7 people and Omar was very patient, allowing everyone to get the camera shots that they wanted and even stayed until the park closed to allow us the most time with the animals.
He was always open to stopping and waiting for animals especially when they crossed the path. He kept everyone aware of our surroundings ensuring we stayed safe especially when a couple of elephants blocked our vehicle on the way out of the park.
Omar was a very enthusiastic and smiley guide and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a very calm and patient guide.

Wonderful agency!
We just returned from a 9-day private tour of Rwanda. Aina handled all our travel needs and provided excellent service. We started communicating with her several months before our trip. Our main purpose was to see the gorillas, but we also wanted to see what else the country had to offer. Aina understood our travel interests and suggested a wonderful itinerary. All the treks and activities she planned for us were great! She was extremely responsive to all our questions and promptly replied to all our queries. Her rates were competitive and she totally delivered what she outlined and more! Her service was personal and attentive. We had questions after we got to Rwanda, and often texted her while there. Unforgettable adventure with Mawe African Ventures
My husband and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Tanzania last April, and our journey was made extraordinary thanks to Mawe African Ventures and our exceptional guide, Raphi.
From the very beginning, Raphaelâs professionalism and passion for his country were clear. He meticulously prepared an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests, ensuring that every moment of our trip was memorable.
One of the most remarkable experiences was our visit to the Hadza tribe. We were privileged to not only visit them but also to take part in a hunting excursion, gaining a rare insight into their traditional way of life. Raphaelâs deep respect and understanding of the Hadza culture, coupled with his excellent translations and explanations, made this an incredibly enriching experience.
The safaris were nothing short of spectacular. Raphaelâs keen eye and extensive knowledge of the wildlife ensured we saw an abundance of animals, including the Big Five. It was amazing to see the tiny cubs with their mothers, a sight that will stay with us forever. Raphaelâs ability to spot animals hidden in the tall grass with his naked eyes was truly impressive, adding an element of wonder to every game drive.
An unexpected delight was our lunch experiences at local restaurants, referred to as âhotelsâ by the locals. These meals gave us a genuine taste of Tanzanian cuisine and culture, far from the typical tourist spots. Eating where the locals dine added an authentic touch to our trip that we will always cherish.
Another highlight was our visit to a very local market. It was fascinating to see the variety of products and the freshness of the produce. Shopping alongside the locals and experiencing the vibrant market atmosphere provided a unique glimpse into daily life in Tanzania.
Throughout our entire journey, Raphael made us feel safe and well-cared for. His attention to detail and dedication to our comfort and enjoyment were unparalleled. What started as a client-guide relationship quickly turned into a genuine friendship. We came to Tanzania as guests and left as friend with Raphi and Veronica his wife.

On my second visit to beautiful Kenya đ°đȘ, I went on Safari again with the coordination of Mr David the humble gentleman from Nairobi, who is so helpful and flexible with arranging Safari packages and I was really glad when I realised that he has established his own company now âEasy Budget Safaris Ltdâ.
Since I visited the great Masai Mara in 2017, there have been significant upgrades in services and facilities. Specially with the Safari campđïž infrastructure, electricity, hot water, WiFi and even mobile network has improved a lot. Further the newly renovated road network đ all the way down to Masai Mara and Amboseli from Nairobi makes the journey quicker and more comfortable, by saving time to get the maximum safari experience with unique wildlife.
Throughout the safari, accommodation and meals were perfectly arranged and I was well satisfied with that. Eventually I got an opportunity to explore some beautiful places close by Nairobi city as well â°ïžđ.
I should keep a review on my recent Safari on this year 2024 April with my Mom and Dad as well. That was great and will come up with more beautiful pictures.
