A fruitful birding trip in Uganda with a highly experienced birding guide
I had the pleasure of going birding with Davis on 22 April and on 26 April 2024. We went to a number of sites in and around Entebbe,, including in Mabamba swamp and at the Entebbe botanical gardens. We had a lot of opportunities to see birds enroute to Mabamba swamp and around Entebbe. It was evident that Davis is very passionate about birds. He is very knowledgeable and was quick to correctly identify the calls and sighting of birds. He is quite experienced and has one of the sharpest eyes I have come across for spotting birds in any environment. He has extensive knowledge of bird calls and can indeed whistle out many calls himself! We managed to get a number of new species for me in the different spots we went to. He was punctual, friendly, flexible, patient and went to great lengths to ensure that we saw the specials in the areas we visited. Davis is also a dependable driver. I will definitely reach out to Davis in the future for a more extensive birding experience across this beautiful country.

helpful and kind
Our wonderful guide was Kapand,. He picked us up at the hotel and after 4h we arrived in Selous (Nyerere NP). The Safari day was beautiful and Kapande explained everything to us perfectly. The next day he took us to the bush walk and the boat Safari, unfortunately we could only do two days but everything was so beautiful that we could have done more. Thanks Uwanda tour and especially thanks Kapande.

Excellent tour operator for your safari
The safari was beautiful. We got to see almost every animal and even got really close to some of them. The organization was perfect, everything went smoothly. We ended up doing all the experiences. Our driver Kapande was excellent and made the safari even more special. He managed to spot all the animals and spread his knowledge about them to us. When it stared to rain his driving abilities were impressive, making the ride even more funny and adventurous. Meeting really nice people like him always makes the trip unforgettable!

Very safe tour with experienced guide. We saw the big 3. Elephant, African Buffalo and the Lion. They respect that this can be a one life experience and that we come from far away they make the tour feel special.

Joel was ALWAYS available to answer our questions before the Safari and during our trip. He picked us up at the airport very friendly and we felt most welcomed since the beginning.
Our driver Deo was more than excellent!!! We felt so comfortable with him. He has a very good knowledge about the animals. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. In sharing his culture he made us feel like we were a part of Tanzania those days.

The safari itself was simply a dream.
