10/10 experience
5/5

I had a truly amazing time on this tour! Ruth the person I was in contact with before my tour was very communicative, answered all of my questions and made adjustments to my trip on request. This originally was supposed to me a solo trip but I another solo female traveler was put on my tour which was a nice surprise. Farouk- my driver/guide- was an excellent source of information, very friendly, and a safe driver. While the journey was long (driving 10 hours to get there) Farouk made it easy with plenty of rest stops. The guesthouses we stayed in had staff that went above and beyond! They offered several short walks- a nature walk, a community walk, or a walk to the Pygmy people’s village. The meals were also excellent. The gorilla trek was of course the best part! The guide for that were also excellent, they shared lots of information, ensured we seen the gorillas and were able to follow them for the duration of our hour, and pointed out other wild life. The second day we went to Lake Bunyonyi after the gorilla trek. This was also great and included a boat ride around the lake. I also wanted to try to local gin and Farouk helped me to find that. The final day we drove back to Kampala and stopped to see how the local drums were made. East African Jungle Safari really met all of my expectations and went beyond. I would highly recommend EAJS to anyone and recommend Farouk as a driver. I will definitely be booking my next tour with them!

Amazing local guide - excellent value for money
5/5

Emmanuel was knowledgeable, attentive and ensured that we had the best day. He organised chimp trekking for us in the morning and picked us up from our guest house. On the way to Kibale he explained exactly what we should expect. The trekking was great - we saw so many chimps really close.
We hadn't booked anything for the afternoon and Emmanuel suggested some ideas - but didn't put any pressure on us. We ended up going to the village community at Bigodi where we learned to make banana beer, coffee and weaved baskets - it was extremely interesting and we felt that we got an insight into Ugandan rural culture.
All through the day Emmanuel was alongside us and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed it. I can't rate him highly enough. If we come back to Fort Portal we will certainly use him again

Incredible and more than we were hoping for, 100% recommending to friends and family.
5/5

100% recommending to friends and family. Did our research and Suricata delivered! Amazing experience.

Our 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris was an unforgettable journey through some of Tanzania’s most stunning landscapes. From the start, Suricata’s team impressed us with their professionalism, organization, and warmth. Our guide Rocky was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making every game drive an exciting and educational experience. We visited Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, each location offering its unique charm and an abundance of wildlife.
We were thrilled to see all the Big Five, witness a cheetah sprint, and spot the rare tree-climbing lions—all with our guide’s expert insights. Suricata arranged comfortable accommodations, including a tented camp that made us feel fully immersed in the wild yet safe. The entire experience felt thoughtfully curated, from seamless transportation to delicious hot lunches and dinners. This safari not only exceeded our expectations but gave us memories to last a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone looking to experience Tanzania’s beauty and wildlife at its best.

Exception attention
5/5

We went on safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and I can't thank Oscar enough for arranging such a great experience. From the moment we started, it was clear that every detail had been carefully planned. Oscar ensured that the transport, lodges, and timings were perfect, allowing me to focus solely on the incredible wildlife.

A major highlight of the trip was our guide, Emanuel. His deep knowledge of the parks and the animals made the journey even more memorable. He was not only skilled at spotting wildlife. His expertise truly elevated the experience, and I felt fortunate to have such a passionate guide. This safari was an unforgettable adventure, made even better by Oscar’s excellent planning and Emanuel's exceptional guidance.

Amazing experience
5/5

Me and my fiend decided to do something memorable on our 50th Birthday. After exploring many options, we hatched a plan to trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro. We’ve been recommended Almighty Kilimanjaro by a group of friends. So we approached Rashid from Almighty Kilimanjaro . He was super helpful in terms of answering questions, offering suggestions and his willingness to help. He also organised a day trip to Kikuletwa hotspring for us in a very short notice and we had a great time. It was a great experience. Driver and a guide were lovely and friendly.

We started our trek to Kilimanjaro on 20th October with a brilliant team of 12 people. All the Staff members were lovely, funny and friendly and they looked after us really well throughout the journey. We reached to the top on 25th at 6.40 in the morning. Breathtaking views from the top and views of sunrise, immediately compensated my tired body and achy legs.

I would like to thank entire team of Almighty Kilimanjaro and Rashidy for their hardwork and help to create this amazing memory. I would highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro to everyone who is thinking about creating a similar memory as us.

Pole Pole, means slowly slowly in local language, you hear them from every other person you pass by, were probably the best thing to cope with the altitude. It was certainly what I did.

Safe, Affordable, Absolutely amazing experience
5/5

Honestly, it was my first time in Africa, and I was very anxious about how to choose from all the safari tours available. However, they maintained great communication with quick responses right up until the day of the tour. The driver, hotel, and food were all excellent, and the care after the tour was wonderful as well. I absolutely want to join a safari tour with this company again. Thank you for an amazing experience! I highly recommend them.
Thanks a lot🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️‍🔥

Operator had everything under control; driver/guide was very experienced, relaxt and full of humor
5/5

We were especially content about the way our driver/guide conducted the tours through the three parks we visited: Amboseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara. He was always exactly on time and had a lot of interesting things to tell about the animals in the parks. Moreover: he knew when to wait a little so we - for instance - got to see how a cheetah started running for a gazelle and: caught it.

Africa is a wonderful place
5/5

My experience was wonderful. The road connections are very good. The place to sleep was very good since we had great service and great hospitality. With the guides they take you very close to the animals to photograph them and enjoy them.

It is a highly recommended trip for the whole family.

I felt like a friend and not a client, thank you William
5/5

I visited Tanzania in October 2024 when I planned this long in advance. After a thorough research of the offers of agents that offer trips to Mt.Kilimanjaro and Safari, I went on the recommendation of my friends who climbed Kilimanjaro in January. For me, this trip was different from my normal trips because it was going to a tourist area that I normally try to avoid, ie tourist traps, scams and everything associated with an exposed tourist place await you. My choice fell on Spirit of Kilimanjaro and I got in touch with William directly. From the beginning, i.e. half a year before arrival, communication was excellent, any request I had was heard and immediately incorporated into the itinerary. What was nice was that the communication worked even on the day of arrival when we were connected online from the plane and so the pick-up at the airport took place without any problems. It is unnecessary to write every detail of my stay which included climbing Kilimanjaro and visiting the Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. Everything went smoothly. What I have to pick up was the response to my any request for change in the itinerary that was pre-set. It was no problem for William to respond to anything and set it up according to my current requirements and my condition. What was absolutely most important to me was the real friendly approach on a personal level, where I did not feel for a moment that any change I made in the program would be immediately evaluated by a change in price or so. Unfortunately you are in the tourist area of Moshi, Kilimanjaro and at every turn everyone tries to sell you somehow, this was great in the behavior of William and Spirit of Kilimanjaro, they did not give me this feeling. Finally, the most important thing - if I come back to Tanzania and think about climbing Kilimajaro again, I know I'm calling William, there no other way. Thank you William and thanks to Rafael.
