Amazing Tour Operator
5/5

Shoes is by far the best Safari Tour Guide you could hope for. His skills and passion for the wildlife and nature is very evident.
A very well planned trip that went like clock work.
I highly recommend Khalanga Safari Tours!!

Exceptional tour guide with Omar
5/5

We went on a 5 day safari of which 4 were spent with tour guide Omar. Omar was amazing at helping us get all the perfect shots of all the animals and was super patient until everyone was happy. He was very patient and helpful, making sure everyone was well fed and organising lunch time.

Thanks for a wonderful safari with an experienced and very relevant guide Manu! You were very correct and accurate. What we imagined, it happened. We will not forget the days in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Chemka with the wonderful view of Kilimanjaro. You were great, highly recommend! Greetings from Bulgaria! Vincent, you are a very good organizer!

Am amazing experience with an excellent guide at a great price.
5/5

We absolutely loved our safari experience with Reteti! They arranged everything from pickup at the airport to the extra night at an airport hotel (since our flight landed in the evening) all the way through to drop-off at the airport when we were done.

Kim was great to work with over email, responded quickly when we had questions, and we ended up meeting him at the end of the trip as well which was fun. Bernard, or driver for the full trip, was excellent at finding where the action was happening, and in our few days got us to see a cheetah hunting/ chasing antelope, multiple elephant families crossing right in front of us, close up lions, etc, etc.

The lodgings themselves far exceeded our expectations - legitimately felt like 4 to 5 star resorts the the states. The food was also fantastic, and was usually buffet style. I've admittedly never been on a cruise but it felt like how people describe them in terms of the level of hospitality and great food. Maybe someday I'll go and I can update this review with a first hand comparison. Overall it was simply fantastic, and we'd love to go again.

Would strongly recommend, 10/10.

The two main things I was concerned about:
- Pesapal (what we paid through) is a payment system you've probably never heard of unless you're from East Africa or have traveled there before. I did some searching and it passed my personal checks, so I went ahead and paid (using my favorite card that I trust completely), and it was obviously all fine, Reteti got the payment, and here we are a week after the trip. Once we got there, sure enough, I saw pesapal signs at most of the resorts, etc. So that was all fine.

- The Nairobi airport has two spots where people seemed to be picking up passengers. The first one was before passport control, and there were only a few there (not sure how they got behind security). Bernard was waiting for us with most of the other guides outside security, right as we excited the airport. I'd expect that to be the same for anyone else, so you go through passport control and customs, then come out and find him. So don't worry if you see people with signs right when you get off the plane and your name isn't there - your driver will most likely be waiting just outside the airport.

Very professional and available when booking, even last minute, passionate guides, perfect adventure
5/5

I sent an inquiry late on a Monday night, for a 3-day tour starting on Wednesday. They replied way after office hours and found a way to add me on the tour. Very professional and nice people. Then the tour was amazing. Very great value for a great adventure off the beaten path. I spent two 2 nights at dumela tented camps. Very nice team, passionate guides. I totally recommend them ! You'll be all smiles on for 3 days... And nature there is... Beyond beautiful.

Attentive and kind
5/5

We really had a wonderful time. Charles our guide was definitely one of the highlights. He trekked us all over to get medicine for the tribes and gifts and was always so polite and respectful. My only regret was not being able to trek to the gorillas after doing habituation 2 days earlier. My daughter and I were just too tired but we got to enjoy more time with community tours and shopping. We saw everything we wanted to see and loved most of the lodges. My favorites were the more local lodges.

Our stay in Kenya was one of a kind and truly amazing experience that will stay forever. Everything was amazing from the Tour operator, the driver and accommodation was very nice. We managed to see all the "Big Five " animals by the help of the driver who was well conversant with the destination where we could easily sport them . This was one Safari of a kind never to be forgotten. I would highly recommend Wildbound Safari and Tours for safari and Trips in Kenya.y

Caring and dedicated
5/5

I highly recommend this company for a safari tour. We did a 5-day private tour in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and it couldn’t have been better.

Initially, I was concerned because I didn’t see as many reviews as other tours, so I wanted to make sure to contribute with this positive review.

This agency was exceptional. We expressed interest in witnessing the wildebeest migration, so they changed our hotels last minute to accommodate this request. They checked in with us every day from headquarters to ensure everything was going well. Additionally, when we encountered an issue with the lodge (the bathtub didn’t work), they acted as intermediaries and resolved it within a few hours. Their attentiveness made us feel very well taken care of.

Our guide, Godfrey, was outstanding. He took us to secluded spots away from other vehicles, demonstrating his extensive knowledge of the park and his sixth sense for finding animals. We saw sooo many animals, including the big five, some just a few meters away (others from a distance, but he pointed them out so we could view them through binoculars).

While we saw other safari vehicles stuck on roads, ours did not have any issues. This indicates that the safari cars they use are well-maintained and it was a very confortable ride, with plug and chargers in the vehicle.

I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Clyde Beaty - Virtual safari expert
5/5

I cannot say enough about working with Clyde and the Tailormade Africa team. This was a trip of a lifetime, and we started planning 3 years in advance. Clyde helped understand our needs then customize a trip that matched our desires with our practical budget. He has great suggestions and well documented itineraries with details even far in advance to help us stay excited. He was responsive and very helpful with everything to know before we go too, how much cash to bring, what to pack, etc. Once we got there every step was taken care of and he checked in numerous times to ensure things were running smoothly. He even went so far as to help move our rooms when one of our hotels started construction during our stay. All and all, I felt supported and excited throughout a VERY long planning effort. Then the trip itself was epic, classic savanna safari in 2 different parks in Tanzania, ensuring we had a broad range of experiences, then on to Uganda with some unique experiences including an afternoon with a research team, trekking for chimpanzee's and trekking for gorillas. A lifetime of memories. Thank you, Clyde!

A Spectacular Adventure with wonderful guides!
5/5

This was an adventure of a lifetime! Amos arranged a trip that included the best parks and really wonderful lodges, including a real tent camp in the Serengeti! We saw all the wildlife one could imagine, plus a visit with the Maasai and a stop at Oldupai Gorge! No one could ask for more, but we did get even more! We had the most caring, wonderful guides - Denis and Noel. They were full of knowledge, helping at every opportunity, and were the experts we depended on every day. Our very first day in Ruaha National Park we saw hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and the Saddle-billed stork. It was just the beginning! I also want to say how much fun Denis and Noel were, they had us laughing every day. Amos also included a visit to an orphanage to which we donated food and supplies. The children were so happy and talented, singing songs for us in English and sharing their joy. What this school is imparting to these children is amazing and filled our hearts. It was a highlight of my trip.
