Like a king among the kings
I came across Mwema by chance on the internet and, after some quotations received from about 20 different tour operators, I realized the one proposed by them was the cheapest (2000-2500 dollars for a 4nights-5days private safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, all inclusive).
Although I had no reference about this tour operator, I plucked up the courage to run the risk to book the safari with them. In the following days I kept in contact with Simon, the owner of the company, who proved to be a very kind, patient and qualified person.
Then I made an advance payment from Italy (we agreed it would be 10% of the amoutn) and, when I was there and safari started, all the possible hesitations disappeared because I was really treated like a king among the kings, that is many lions I had the luck to see.
Driver was Emanuel, a very smart and kind person.
Parks were fantastic, a sort of paradise on earth, and this period of the year proved to be a very good choice for me (low season but no rain, few tourists, lower but not low prices).
The only bad aspect was the place i stayed the 1st night, Twiga Lodge in Mto Wa Mbu, very poor arrangement with a very money-oriented receptionist. Last but not least, the structure was under renovation.

Kenyan Safari
The 5 day safari from Amboseli to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara was outstanding. The 3 Safari Camps were excellent in service, accommodation and dining. I would definitely recommend Wildebeest Safaris and you must as for Eustace as your guide/driver as he is so knowledgeable and such a fantastic guide and driver. Everything that was promised was delivered and so much more. Perfect!

Extremely professional, organized, detail-oriented outfitter from start to end for Kilimanjaro trek
I found Tanzania Journeys after reviewing outfitters profiled as treating their porters/guides humanely and fairly. My initial communication with Fran was prompt, professional, and informative. From that point forward, all of the pre-departure planning was seamless. The actual trek of Kilimanjaro could not have been any better. We were paired with head guide Reggie and his associates - and all of the porters of course. Meals were great and filling. Tents and pads were clean and reasonably well-maintained. Part of my decision-making came down to price and Tanzania Journeys was pretty competitive. Would definitely recommend without hesitation!

Another amazing safari organized by Rose & her team.
We've used Rose 4 times now and she never fails to deliver a spectacular, stress free safari experience. Having been to Africa many time, visited 7 countries on the continent we have pretty high expectations each time we go on safari. Luxury African Safari has done an incredible job each time in organizing a memorable vacation. Rose knows exactly what we're after and she's always put us at the right camps. We've never had anything but a smooth experience using Luxury African Safari. Whether it's your first time or you've been around the block, I highly recommend this group for any of your Safari trips. Much better than a couple of the other groups we used before. Rose and her team get it right! Thanks again!

Good organization, professional guides
we have travelled with Seven by Far around Kenya (Nairobi, Naivasha, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo West).
We were 4 adults on a private tour. Had absolutely no problems during the whole safari. Our guide was very helpful, friendly and communicative.
Though we had some issues regarding cancellation of the tour for the fifth person, Sylvester behaved himself as professional and proved that it is worth to deal with his company.
thanks for good impressions and will recommend Seven by Far to my friends.

Wonderful day-tour safari to the More Game Reserve to a fair price
Communications up front was very good, MG and Nicky were willing and helpful to answer all our questions. Our guide Sox picked us up very early so that we had a beautiful sunrise just before entering the park. Food and drinks were provided and according to our chosen options. The tour was very nice, we could come up to a lot of animals very closely and had good explanations from our guide. All in all a experience we would recommend!

Legendary!
This is a young company but everyone working there from management to staff to guides have all been working in top positions in the industry for more than a decade. The level of comfort we had during our tour was difficult to imagine. Our vehicle was almost new, absolutely top notch and the best I saw in the parks. For lunch, instead of having a lunch box like everyone else (even those staying at the really high end camps), we always had a full table set for lunch with forks, knives, and even wine stand, wine and, on some occasions, even hot food on pots.
The guide was the best (Benson), he was polite but always enthusiastic and engaging us in all the stories he had to tell us. I am not back in Tokyo but I definitely want to return for a longer experience and there is no other company I will consider.
Thanks to everyone, you are the best.

Maasai mara Kenya safari
Myself and fiance went on safari. We both are well travelled but never did safari. Information out there was overwhelming. We chose pam safaris from recommendation . 4 in maasai mara nights was fantastic . Great attention to our needs from first email.

Perfect from the start, esp for the ethical tourist
Right from my first contact with Jessica by email, we were treated exceptionally well. Jessica responded promptly and in detail to all my information requests, as well as offering a very reasonably priced 8 day safari. And importantly, through the company they support an orphanage for Kony victims in Kampala. This ethical philosophy of supporting and giving to others at community level is very strong within the company and a massive drawcard for us.
Martin was a fantastic guide throughout our time. From picking us up at the airport to the final goodbye we cannot fault his professionalism, knowledge, caring nature and patience to find us the best experience. And through his guidance we saw everything and more that we wanted to see - from lions in the trees and elephants at the gate, to mongoose under the van and leopards at the window, just amazing. I have dreamed of this since a young boy and can only say my dream has been realised.
Uganda is... Read more a beautiful place and was not voted by the BBC as the friendliest country in Africa for nothing. Every day was like being somewhere different - from grassland savannah to lakes to rainforest jungle. We stayed in mid-range accommodation and were blessed with exceptional service and wonderful food. I have to mention Agnes at the Simba Safari Camp and all the people at the Buhoma Community Rest Camp , the stunning views at the Acacia Lodge looking down onto Lake Bunyonyi (http://www.arcadialodges.com/lake-bunyonyi.html - think I would love to retire there!!) and the impala herd outside our window at the Acacia Cottages at Lake Mburo.
We did two gorilla treks in Bwindi and I would have to recommend doing two rather than one. Each was unique and gave us plenty of time to pick up and put down the cameras, to look through the lens or just sit and absorb where we were.
When you go make sure you take some school supplies for St Matthews School while doing the Community Walk in Bwindi. This school and its staff are doing an incredible job with dirt floors, 60 kids to a class, so few resources but a spirit that lifts your heart. They also have a number of orphans and Batwa children who would benefit from your support. We'll be back again to do what we can - and also to experience Rwanda with our friends at Arrive Africa Safaris.
I utterly recommend Arrive Africa Safaris and Uganda - people, places and smiles you will never forget.
