Efficient and professional.
5/5

On time. Comfortable. On the way there it was great to get 15 minute break at the KFC in the middle of nowhere. On the way back the drucer surveyed the passengers to see if we wanted to stop or not, then followed direction. He was genuinely interested in all of us getting to the airport on time. Thankyou.

Unforgettable 4 day safari with Bashir
5/5

4 day fly-in fly-out tour from zanzibar, all organized by wakanda tours. They arranged pick up from the hotel to the airport in the morning for the direct flight to seronera airstrip. Our guide Bashir was there waiting for us and we immediately decided on the game drive in the Serengeti park. On the first day we focused on predators, and we immediately spotted a leopard and some cheetahs. We spent the night at the sound of silence lodge which is one of the best in the park, attentive service and fantastic tents with zebras and antelopes sleeping just outside. On the second day we visited the western part of the park and followed the great migration of wildebeest and zebras, as well as many other animals. On the third day we left for the ngorongoro crater, where in addition to lions and elephants we managed to spot the black rhino, we spent the night at the tloma lodge, a beautiful resort in the middle of the jungle. On the last day we headed to Tarangire park in search of elephants. After having lunch in the jeep surrounded by a very large herd we were lucky enough to spot a leopard near the river. From here we headed to Arusha airport for the flight back to Zanzibar. The tour was very well organized by Wakanda Tours and Safaris and our guide Bashir was perfect, always doing his utmost to make us appreciate every aspect of the safari. KARIBU

About: Safari360
Amazing 4-day safari in Tanzania!
5/5

We booked a 4-day safari with Safari360 covering Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. From start to end, everything was perfectly planned through. Our guide Bakari did a remarkable job throughout the trip and was able to show us a wide range of animals, including the big 5 and many more. He was very organized and planned in sufficient time for breaks - I was especially worried about the toilet situation but there were many breaks and modern facilities! The whole trip was very entertaining and we had a great time. We can only recommend using Safari360 and Bakari especially for a multi-day Safari in the beautiful Tanzania!

LION KING – HOLIDAY OF A LIFETIME
5/5

My wife and I decided that we should book a special holiday as part of our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. We settled on an African safari in Tanzania and visited a local travel agency. They were helpful but, as they had to consult their African specialists who in turn had to contact their associates in Tanzania, rather slow in coming up with an itinerary. We knew such a trip would be costly but, looking at the price of the itinerary proposed, it was way more expensive than we had anticipated.
Time for plan B – why not book direct? After looking at Tripadvisor, I emailed three Tanzanian Safari companies which had received excellent reviews. Jovitha from Lion King was first to respond and, after a few email exchanges, she came up with a perfect itinerary at a saving of around 33% compared to our UK quote.
And it was perfect! From being collected at Kilimanjaro Airport to being taken to our hotel in Zanzibar 11 days later, the whole trip was beautifully organised. We were thrilled to meet Jovitha on our first day in Arusha and the following morning, Enock was waiting for us at reception.
Enock was to be our driver, guide and good friend for the next nine days and what a remarkable young man he is – only 25 but he has been a safari guide for six years. Always with a smile, nothing was too much trouble and his only concern was the comfort, safety and enjoyment of his two elderly charges – so much so, that he is now our ‘official’ Tanzanian grandson! He made sure that we saw the big five, the photographers’ nine, the ugly five! He made an end of the day detour so that we could see a leopard close up, we saw a successful cheetah hunt and lost count of the number of lions. Thank you Enock, my friend – every good wish to you for your future.
All the safari lodges selected were first class – very comfortable, friendly staff and delicious food. It’s a real thrill to have elephants, bison, wildebeest etc within feet of your permanent tented bedroom. Worthy of particular mention is the Nyota Luxury Camp in the Serengeti (see my separate review) which is actually owned by Lion King. The staff here are super friendly and when we had to say goodbye after four days, we really didn’t want to leave.
If you are worried about booking directly with a Tanzanian company, don’t be! Lion King is a really well-run company which I unreservedly recommend. If you are thinking of a safari in Tanzania, send them an email – you won’t regret it.

Fabulous
5/5

We did the 16 day Game Tracker tour leaving on the 1st June . We enjoyed every bit of this tour. We saw heaps of wildlife and felt very safe throughout. Our guides Farai and Sifiso were amazing and really knowledgeable with giving us information and answering any questions. There were some long drives but we had enough stops to make it as comfortable as possible and well worth the travel. We especially loved Kruger, Vic Falls and the Okavango Delta as well as the sunset cruise in Chobe. We were really happy with the accommodation and the food prepared for us was really yum. Watching elephants drink from a waterhole in front of our accommodation was really magical. I would definitely recommend this company.

This tour is the experience of a lifetime!
5/5

Honestly cannot say enough good things about Morning Star Tours and our guide John. John gave us the experience of a lifetime. He answered all of questions and gave us a lot of information about the animals. Whatever we asked for, John went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and our needs met. We wanted to see lions, John showed us a pack of lions hunting. We wanted to see giraffes, John took us to see a baby giraffe. Whenever there was a massive group of jeeps, John always got us a spot right in front. John made us feel like family and we truly feel like we would not have had such an amazing time if we had another guide. Our days were filled of wonderful memories of us laughing wherever we went. We appreciated John’s eagerness to please and his great sense of humor.

Dennis was also incredible. He was always so quick to respond to our many questions and made us feel completely at ease. We had no idea what to expect but we were blown away by all the amazing activities and accommodations that Dennis booked for us. Easily some of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at in our lives and the service was top notch. I can’t wait to return home and tell all of our friends to book with this amazing company. John and Dennis, thank you for giving us the trip of a lifetime.
