5 Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha Budget Tour
5/5

This was a great trip with Steve our guide in our Jeep called Spy Girl. We managed to see all of the big five animals as well as lots of other animals including a cheetah, with Steve managing to get us into prime photo positions for great shots of the animals, thanks heaps for that Steve. 👌
Jocky tours were easy to work with being quick to respond to questions we had pre tour as well as organising things during the trip. The accommodation is budget but was not a problem anywhere. Meals everywhere were great and nice to have it all included.
Only thing to warn people about is the Masai Village visit which is of course optional. Was very interesting to see how they live but be prepared for the hard sell both at the village and if you go visit the school. They expect you to buy something and give a donation to the school. They don’t like it when you say NO!
Would recommend booking a safari with Jocky Tours and having Steve as a guide.

Good value for money
4/5

My boyfriend and I had a great time on this trip. Everything was well coordinated and organized for us. The only thing we wish we would have known is that since the national parks are located far away from each other, there is a significant amount of time eaten up by traveling. So when they say “2 days in the Serengeti”, this is actually 2 half-days so about 8-10h of game drives total. It may sound like enough but it sometimes takes a while to spot animals since the area is very vast, so the more time spent in one place the better. If we had to redo it I would have chosen to visit fewer parks (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and spend more time in those. In the end, we were able to see only 3 out of the Big 5.

The organization could have been a bit better since we shared a Jeep with another family that had a different itinerary than us and finished one day earlier. Because of that, we had to leave the park early (around 11am even though we supposedly had a full day to spend in the Park) which was not really fair to the rest of us who were staying longer. We ended up back at the hotel at 2PM with nothing to do. With that said, when we complained the tour company was accommodating and arranged for some small activities to fill in our time. They were also very responsive on WhatsApp.

My boyfriend’s birthday fell during the trip and the company arranged to have a surprise cake delivered after our hike to the waterfalls, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Perfect relaxed and complete day on the Okavango with Extremely Wild Safaris!
5/5

Sia and his colleagues are very friendly and make your trip with the Mokoro on the Okavango unforgettable! The communication with Isa went smooth and easily. We could book a safari with him last minute and he made sure everything went like we wanted. We met the day before to prepare the trip, discuss the lunch we wanted, pickup time and what the day would look like. We were fully prepared.
The day itself was so relaxed and peaceful and beyond expectations. The delta is beautiful and you slide along the calm and peaceful water with a mokoro (traditional canoe). You go for a walking safari and have lunch in the beautiful nature, overlooking the hippo’s grazing and bathing (in our case). You return back with the mokoro and then the driver brings you back to the lodge. We didn’t have to worry about anything during the whole day, everything was perfectly planned out for us!

Eric is the best tour guide!
5/5

I would say having a humourous and experienced tour guide is the key to enjoying a safari in Kenya. Eric is a very easygoing guide, he used his 15 years of experience to drive us around to find the animals. We found the big 5 in Masai Mara and the scene was breathtaking. Will definitely recommend this agent to my friends who will be coming to Kenya later.

A very responsible heartful and experienced tour guide we have had!
5/5

It is totally worthy by letting Morningstar host us in Kenya. From the beginning, Dennise is super patient to answer all the questions and concerns. During the safari, we had a wonderful time with our tour guide Eric. He has 15 years experience. He can quickly knows our concerns abd driving habits, makes us not bored during the long driving transportation. He is punctual, experienced, thoughtful and kind. Will definitely come back in the future or refer him to my friends.

Just perfect ! I recommend 100%
5/5

I travelled with this agency on October 2022 for a 5 days safari trip.
Everything was perfect.
We spent 3 days in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, 1 day in Manyara and 1 day in Tarangire.
Accommodation for all the night were confortable and clean!
We were with 2 guides, they really know the nature and how to find animals. We saw the Big 5 easily (except rhino hard to found but we did I it).
I recommend this agency. Thanks you again for everything

Excellent Tour with a good prize
5/5

Everything worked out very well and as promised with a good prize. Our tourguide Caleb was very friendly and experienced. He was very helpful when one suitcase was stolen at Masai Mara. He informed all tribe people in the sorroundings and after the efforts of the Masai people the suitcase was found and sent on to our next hotel. Although this was a Budget tour the hotels were appropriate and clean. Especially the Manjaro tented Camp was simple but wonderful situated with a great view to Kilimandscharo (Henry was a perfect host). A great tour for a small budget.

He aims to arrive to the destination on schedule.
5/5

This shuttle from Johannesburg to near Kruger park was nice. I had some issues to leave my place of staying, and I contacted the service WhatsApp. They asked to the driver to wait for me and he did it. I have nothing to complain about. I appreciate the consideration.
