A bucket list trip!
Flew into Joberg and took a transfer(by van) to greater Kruger. Saw everything we wanted to, and more!! It’s spring there so although it was brown, it made it easier to see the animals. Cool at night, warm during the day.
Safari for 6 nights 7 days was more than enough. I would recommend maybe only 4-5 nights max. We didn’t spend anytime in Joberg due to safety recommendations. Then flew to Cape Town. Spent 5 nights there. Beautiful city, great hiking, wine country close, lots to do!
It does get a bit sketch at night so try and see everything during the daylight hours. Time of year we went was perfect. Not too hot or cold. Layers were good.

Stayed at Green Fire and had a great time. The people were so nice. Got to interact with the owner daily and had some amazing experiences there! You can’t beat waking up from a nap to views of giraffes and elephants.

Golden Tours was professional, reliable, and skilled in all aspects of conducting my tour.
I was expecting to be wowed by my safari, but my experience with Gokden tours exceeded all my expectations! From the beginning they were always quick to respond and patiently answered all my questions. Their prices were very competitive and they made sure all the parks I wanted to see were included. I was greeted at the airport and then the magical trip began!
Evens was a fabulous guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, the different environments, and the cultures of each park we visited- Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Arusha NP. I saw EVERY animal i hoped to see and many more. He found animals others were not seeing.
I can't recommend Golden Trips more highly for their responsiveness, value, and skill in providing a magical experience!

Very reliable and trustworthy
We booked a 5day safari, tsavo east, west and amboseli. First of all: we loved this experience, also thanks to Peter, our Tourguide. The places we spent the night were fabulous, the landscapes magnificent and of course we loved to see all those animals. We felt very safe with Peter and would recommend this company anytime.

Above expectations
Our tour guide Erick went above and beyond meeting our expectations. Not only was he attentive and informative when he needed to be but also was respectful of our own time. They picked us up from our accommodation in Dar and took us wherever we needed to go. The hotel we stayed at mikumi was also pretty good and great value for money.
