We were a bit skeptical to book a safari from the internet in Kenya with full prepayment before the safari, but since day 1 Lucy was very responsive and easy to contact with. She promptly answered all the questions and provided so many options. She was also very helpful in everything we could ask and ensured that our safari trip was smooth and enjoyable. She even checked up on us during the trip- which was greatly appreciated!

Right safari with the right team
My Mum and I went on this safari with Africa Starpal Safaris with Paul as organizer and Morris as our guide. We had an incredible time, and were fortunate enough to see the Big 5, plus many more animals!
Our guide, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He helped ensure we had everything we needed, and he made our safari entertaining and informative. We highly recommend this Operator, and thank you also for organizing our transfer from Nairobi to ithumba and to Nairobi.

Very Organised, hassle free
Travelling with Kiboko tours was the best decision to begin with, co originating with Gibson from the start was very comfortable and hassle free, our needs in regards to hotel, transportation and food(vegetarian) was met, Samuel was our drive and tour guide who drove around, we had wonderful conversations about each other’s cultures, he was very kind to us, without his keen interest of showing us around East Africa we wouldn’t have been able to see all the big 5! Thanks to Gibson, Sam and Kiboko tour team.

On the 3th of october 2024 we went to Tanzania for safari and before and after that we stayed at Zanzibar in the reef &beach resort. We had a very beautiful time. Very good resort and very friendly people. It made our holidays unforgettable.

Excellent from start to finish
Excellent planning and implementation of my 18 day trip to Tigray, Gonder and Simien Mountains as well as the south of Ethiopia.
After I contacted a few local travel providers from Ethiopia for an individual trip lasting around 3 weeks, LiyuEthiopiaTours turned out to be the most competent and professional travel company right from the first contact. Yhun from LiyuTours always responded to my messages quickly, in excellent English and professionally. Yhun immediately put together an individual 18-day trip according to my wishes. Communication was easy via WhatsApp. My numerous questions (e.g. regarding current security situations) and requests were always addressed in the most professional manner and without delay.
When complications arose with my flight booking and applying for my e-visa, Yhun took care of the relevant authorities on site in Addis, thus paving the way for this unforgettable trip.
When I arrived in Ethiopia, my positive experiences continued. The trip was perfectly organized. My accommodation were good. The guides and drivers were outstanding (both personally and professionally). When I got sick for a few days, the guides, drivers and Yhun took excellent care of me. They organized medication and Yhun adjusted my route accordingly. I was impressed by the high degree of flexibility that Yhun demonstrated during my trip in order to best fulfill my wishes on site.
The security situation, which is currently quite explosive in the Amhara region, was also monitored by Yhun and his contacts and I was always kept up to date. I felt safe and in the best hands at all times.
I travel a lot, but I have never experienced such professionalism in planning and implementation, from start to finish. Once again a huge compliment to my driver Gerre and guide Hailay from Tigray, with whom I spent unforgettable days in and around the rock churches of Geralta, Tefera, who was my driver in the south on paper, but qualified as a guide thanks to his immense knowledge, and groom who traveled with me in the Amhara region and cared for me when I was sick.
I am very grateful that I was able to experience this unforgettable time in Ethiopia and highly recommend Liyu Ethiopia.
