Fantastic trip
I was going to title it a once in a life time trip but given they organised our amazing safari/beach honeymoon last year that would be fairly inaccurate.
So this was obviously my second experience with Extraordinary Africa and both times they have been brilliant. Throughly professional at all times, very quick to respond to any queries, but also were able to recommend places based on personal experience which always gives you more confidence when booking a potentially expensive holiday. Alex in particular, who was our main contact at Extraordinary Africa, was superb and organised two amazing amazing holidays for us. I cannot recommend her or Extraordinary Africa more, and we simply cannot wait until our next trip with them.

Fantastic experience
We booked 4 days safari with Sunny Safaris on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The communication with Jessica was clear and timely, she answered all of our questions. Our safari guide was Athman Mohamed and cook Marcel Panga, both who gave us an amazing experience.
Our guide did a great job, he saw every single animal, we would never have seen. He drove very carefully and was quite patient with us. The cook was also fantastic – he cooked so good, that even our kids liked it ….and it doesn’t happen very often.
It's amazing what delicious meals they prepare on the road with such limited resources.
We recommend Sunny Safaris – professional company with big experience.

Great Value!
I (a solo traveler) dealt with Lennox and his communication was pretty good. There were some miscommunications though. I took a 2 day Safari and was unaware that I would be with a different group each day. Though it did not impact the trip, it would have been nice to know. After the first game drive, my driver gave me an itinerary for the following day with a different group. I was told not to eat breakfast before the drive and that breakfast would be provided after the drive. The camp staff members were not aware of this, and the breakfast food was gone when we returned from the morning drive, so I had to waif until lunch to eat. Not a problem for me, but may be a problem for others.
The lodging (Lenchada Tourist Camp) was pretty good! The staff members were warm, and the bed was comfortable. The camp allowed us to charge our gear for a few hours at night and had power strips, but no adapters, so bring your own.
I took two game drives; one the evening of the first night, and another in the early morning of day two. The first game drive was awesome and we saw a ton of animals. The second drive was the complete opposite. Not the fault of the drivers or company at all though.
The drive itself is long at six hours including stops, but the company does a good job at giving enough breaks. The lunch stop was also a bit lackluster, but I didn't expect much at the price point. Overall, this trip was a great value and I would recommend it to other budget and/or solo travelers.

I used the internet to look up places but used advantage travel to book places
In December a friend of mine in the corporate world referred me to Advantage Travel to organize my December holiday for me and I must say that since then, I have not only found my favorite travel agent but a new family friend who ensured that my wife, son and I had a memorable holiday experience along the Kenyan coast.
When I submitted my inquiry, one of their directors( Steve) who also works as a safari organizer personally called me and deliberated extensively with us on what we would like our holiday to be like and after we gave him our expectations, the relationship started from there. My son to date keeps asking us about "uncle safari".
Everything was seamless, I felt safe and comfortable making payments and when the safari ensued, we never had a single hitch and Steve kept calling every evening to find out how our coastal hotel was, our driver and overall experience. Now that you can not get from an online agent.
This year, we are already working with him on some safari adventure to the Mara and of course my company just migrated all our ticketing business to Advantage Travel.
We won't hesitate recommending anyone including companies that would like to engage Advantage Travel. You will get an advantage using them.

Great varied safari
On our month long tour we visited Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. The itinerary was varied and included lots of different, exciting activities. Ranging from a boat trip in Chobe National Park to white water rafting down the Zambezi to visiting the beautiful Epapu Falls. We had a wonderful time. Malcolm was a confident guide especially when dealing with the unexpected and a vehicle problems that we experienced.
It would have been helpful if Malcolm could have detailed the itinerary, what provisions may be needed and whether extra money needed to be withdrawn on a more daily basis. Otherwise an unforgettable experience.
Perfectly planned Kenya safari
Our first vacation in Kenya is already a few weeks ago and still we miss the expanse of Kenya, the great and many animals and the so friendly people there.
We booked our holiday with African Sermon Safaris and put together an excellent trip for us. We have only asked a lot, written a lot and then also telephoned. Always the answers came quickly and in details. We had the feeling that our holiday is really important and have found everything as promised.
We went on a safari for about 12 days, starting in Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and then after a night in Nairobi before heading out to Amboseli, Ziwani, Tsavo East and West, it was classy. We were also traveling almost every day, but we wanted to see as much as possible. Everything was wonderful, the camps and lodges were great, the food super and the driver, just for us, was always punctual. I can only recommend Kenya for what you see, simply beautiful. We have been to South Africa, you cannot compare, not half as nice.
We will soon return to Kenya for another vacation and now take more time in Tsavo and explore the East and West part better and also definitely go to Ziwani again.

Experience of a life time...
We joined a short 4x4 expedition, from Kruger to Mozambique. As we crossed the border at Kosi Bay, sand tracks became the name of the game. With our 4x4, we followed the vehicle of The Wilderness Society's team up to the Maputo Elephant Reserve. We enjoyed camping on the beach and the sightings of hippos and elephants by the lakes of this stunning reserve. We were always alone, but never felt unsafe. The bush chef was great. All the journey was very well organized, the team friendly and professional, showing a true passion for their job. We ended up with a farewell dinner at the famous Butcher Boys in Durban, before heading back to Pretoria, but that was really a great wilderness experience.

Salahe & Ibrahim - Great Team
We decided to celebrate or 50th birthday in a Safari trip in Tanzania & had a 7 days camping safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire NPs & in Lake Eyasi. Salahe was our Guide & Driver during this trip, while Ibrahim was the cook & logistic support.
Salahe is full of knowledge & cheerful person, which definitely made our Safari adventure highly enjoyable. We really felt that he is well prepared & that he gatjered the relevant information from the park's rangers, as he always managed to bring, right on time, to the points of interest, to be able catch the best game views.
Ibrahim is one of the most caring & kind persons we ever met. He really made all possible efforts to understand the specific desires of each one in the group & to meet those desires.
Our adventure in Tanzania was superb & we can only thank Salahe & Ibraim for this wonderful time.
