High quality Gorilla trekking experience with comfortable accommodations - exceeded expectations!!
5/5

We had a fantastic three day tour from Kampala to Rushaga (in Bwindi) and back with Simon from Encounter Africa Safaris. First, - Chris at the office was very helpful an responsive in arranging our trip.

The day prior to the trip - we were contacted by our guide and agreed to a 7am start time - and sure enough Simon was there at 6:50am despite unpredictable traffic in a very comfortable and solid 4x4 vehicle. We thought the 9 hour journey to Bwindi would be long, but on the drive through Uganda it was very interesting to see all the towns and villages along the way. Simon highlighted so many points of interest and all the different foods that grow in Uganda. Some highlights included a mini game-drive where we saw impalas and zebras and our stop at the Equator. We also spotted Uganda cranes. Overall - the drive felt more like part of the tour than a drive to get from point A to B.

When we arrived at our lodge (Rushaga Gorilla Haven's lodge) we found it was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and the view over the valley to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was amazing. The room itself was very nice and comfortable and the food was excellent!

Day 2 was our trekking day - we were lucky to get a great gorilla family with 3 silverbacks, 2 (or more) females and a number of children including one that was just a few months old). After our trek - the lodge staff took us for a walk around the village - it was fascinating to see Uganda life up close including a visit to an orphan school where the students performed some beautiful, moving songs for us.

Our drive back to Kampala on Day 3 was great too. Simon again pointed out interesting things and we made a couple of stops at markets along the way.

Thank you Chris and Simon for making the once-in-a lifetime gorilla trekking experience truly fantastic.

Just great! Emman runs a small company compare to his competitors, but that doesn’t stop him from delivering a top notch Safari! Him and his crew are really service minded and hard working people. We had the pleasure of traveling with driver Mike and chef John, both outgoing, kind and good at their jobs. If you’re looking for a great safari for a great price, this is the one for you!

One Day Kilimanjaro Hike to Mandara Hut
5/5

The communication through WhatsApp went very well. Frank texted me all the informations about the trip, also he picked me up from the bus station, helped me to find my hotel and he also helped me to find a taxi to the airport a few days after.
For the trip itself we drove to the Gate by car, the me and my guide did the hike together. It was private, so there were just me and the guide, he was very kind and caring. After we arrived at Mandara Hut, we went to the crater and had lunch there. Water and lunchbox were included in the price.
The hike itself was very hard for me but it was fun and a nice experience. I’m very confident with the organization of the trip and really recommend it to everyone!

FAMILY ADVENTURE WITH BOKER ADVENTURES
5/5

It was a wonderful adventure we did with Boker Adventures in this year February 2019. My wife and son visit Tanzania for Mt Kilimanjaro climbing via lemosho 8 days and 5 days safari. We arrange with Peter since last year 2018 October.

On arrival we found Peter at the airport, we drove to the hotel where we meet our guides who climbed with us. They gave us comprehensive briefing including checking our climbing gears. We were very well packed and thank you Peter for the climbing gears list you attached to us, it helped us to know what to be packed for climbing.

The next day we were ready to hit the climb with our crew. The crew was organized and well equipped. We did paper work at the gate and have some water filled in the bottles ready to enjoy the climb. My wife was a bit worried but the guide Mudi and Nick encouraged her indeed since day one. Regard the preparation we had before climbing still climbing was challenging, what helped was the Diamox medics we took before arrival as Peter instructed us to do.

The guides were brilliant and wonderful. They never want to see us losing hope while climbing till the last day we summit. They knew exactly what to do and at what time. I liked their awareness of doing everything when it’s the right time to do. Honestly, I will advice everyone who wish to climb, If you really want to summit you should pay attention and follow the guides what they say. If you will do with your mind you will never succeed.

The food was plenty and enough and good thing we realized that Peter sent food supply when we were up there. The cook knew what food was the best for our climb. Porters were also incredible and fantastic. They did a great job since day one. I never knew if they carry a lot while climbing. Never think twice when it comes to tip the crew. They deserve it though I know Peter pay them a good salary but still you have to, This is my opinion though, hahaha.

After climb we did safari also and visit the great crater called Ngorongoro and Serengeti national park. It was our first time in our life to see animals leave in the crater with enough nature to support them but wonderful enough to see rhino. My son was too much excited when he saw lion in Serengeti National Park doing hunting.

For sure we highly recommend Boker adventures for their great organization for our adventures. Their price was very fair, they know how to make you smile and feel the value for your money. I hope no one want to see their years of saving end up in bad adventures. Then for that choose Peter, Choose Boker Adventures for your satisfaction.

Thank you Peter and see you next time and as I told you on July you will expect me with my work team.

All the best Peter.

Expert service for excellent price
5/5

The communication of the team exceeded any expectations from the start - my email and whatsapp messages got quick responses at all hours.
The tour arrangements were efficient and professional. We needed to store some luggage for the duration of the safari, and this was handled without any extra hassles for us.

The safari itself was a very memorable experience, including the (looong) drive, the accommodation, and of course, Masai Mara. Our guide Joshua was knowledgeable, relaxed and accommodating to our wishes.

I would happily repeat the trip!

Tanja, our South Africa expert was superb. She put together a brilliant three week package.
5/5

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We had a very limited budget but Tanja our South Africa expert provided all that we asked for and more. She was efficient, listened to our comments and requests and gave us more than we could have expected. The personal recommendations added to it greatly and she even managed to meet up with us to say hello. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and this company.
