Great wildlife but didn't feel natural
Most likely wouldn't have written this if it wasn't for my mixed feelings. I'm glad I went there as a Tanzania safari is not complete with visiting the crater but it doesn't come even close to Serengeti. Yes, a lot of people complain about it being crowded with tourists but that wasn't the only problem. Seeing the Masai and their cattle right next to the wildebeest and zebras was also strange. Add to this the fact that the place is a small, very open enclosure hemmed in by mountains on all sides and you end up losing that "jungle" vibe that you get when you visit Serengeti or Tarangire.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's an excellent place to see wildlife-but the combination of geographic and human factors just make it feel like too much of a zoo.

Lebala, Lebala
I flew myself and a friend into Lebala Camp through Hank's Aero Self Fly Safaris. This was an amazing experience with the most beautiful wildlife. Everyone who saw my photos asked if they were postcards. I told them I took everyone with a 55-300 mm telephoto. The staff was awesome and I ate like a king! I have 10 friend who want me to fly them into the outback of Africa now! Summer of 2018 will be my next journey. Can't wait!! Thank you Botswana for being a true conservation country!

It was OK
I booked my tour with Dan from Kisoro Tours Uganda. The safari itself was good, I enjoyed the trekking and the gorillas, however, I did not like how at the last moment before our arrival Dan tried to raise the prices of our safari (250 USD extra per person, because he had to organize additional car - rental of additional car with the driver for 3 days is less than 200 USD in Uganda), which did not happen, but still the move left bad aftertaste in my mouth... I also was severely disappointed with the Broadbill Forest Camp - truly a terrible accommodation! Still not completed - 6 years after initiation, old tents, water trickling from the shower, no water in the toilet the last day, personnel without any idea about how to manage the camp and not familiar with the hospitality concept whatsoever, electricity only until 10 PM and then overwhelming darkness, microscopic food portions, on the trekking day we were served rice and vegetables as it was raining so nobody in the camp felt like going down to the village to buy some much needed proteins etc. Initially we were thinking we should have stayed in the forest longer than just 2 nights, but after seeing and experiencing the camp, we were glad that we didn't cater for longer stay. 2 other persons from our group were staying in a different location, which judging from their descriptions was much more liveable. Maybe Broadbill Forest Camp is comparatively cheaper to the organizers... My advise: go for Kisoro tours, but avoid the Broadbill Forest Camp!

Highly recommended
It was an awesome safari and mainly so thanks to the perfect organization. Guys always did what they promised and usually even over delivered. We have seen more than I hoped for, communication was smooth and clear and we always knew we could rely on those guys. I definitely recommend.

Everything we expected
From the time we were picked up at out hotel in Nairobi to the time we were dropped back there on the fourth day the trip turned out to be a truly unforgettable experience which was superbly organised from start to finish.
The accommodation chosen in the Mara was genuinely 5 star and our driver/guide James was brilliant not only in his knack of being able to find the big 5 every day but also in his knowledge of the animals which he was happy to pass along to ourselves
We would recommend Beacon safaris to anyone wanting to take the safari trip of a lifetime

Amazing 3 night safari in Kruger
My husband and I booked our safari through Roho Ya Chui. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! We decided to do 3 nights, 4 days. When I emailed Ute about this, she was very responsive and helpful. She planned the thing for us: our flights into and out of Kruger National Park, our accommodations during the safari, and our road transportation. We got 2 unique experiences: 1 beautiful lodge for the first 2 nights and then 1 night in an all-inclusive fancy bush camp within the park. We saw the Big Five, and SO MUCH more! It was just incredible.

Matt provided a perfect South Africa experience for my wife and I.
Matt did an outstanding job. He provided transportation and accommodations. We stayed in a quiet lodge outside (Aloe Guest Lodge) of Johannesburg on the first night. very nice and quiet. then he drove us to Lukimbi Safari Lodge in Kruger. This lodge was amazing. Saw the Big 5, staff and accommodations were fantastic. Next we flew to Cape Town where Matt placed us in the Compass House. very quiet and nice boutique hotel. Thank you Matt and we will recommend you to everyone friend that wants to visit your beautiful country.

First rate
Our group spent 4 days, 3 nights in 3 national parks. With the good fortune of great weather, cooperative animal sightings, and personal guides/drivers, we could not have asked for more. The lodging was way above our expectations, especially the one in Tsavo East where it was a bit more rustic, and more part of the environment . The food was always exceptional as well. Our vans were not over crowded allowing for perfect visibility our each of us.
If I had a magic wand, I would have had naturalists joining us; the guides were well informed, but not educational professionals. Again, that would be magic wand material.
All in all I would not hesitate to use Transtrek again. Daniel was very responsive and helpful in organizing our experience ahead of time, and following up afterwards.
I still can't calculate how they provided so much for a very reasonable cost.
What a great once in a lifetime experience for our group.

A wonderful trip, we'll make the next one longer!
We recently went on a 3 day safari to Amboseli NP with Classic Journeys Africa. Our guide Benson was fabulous, his knowledge of plants, animals and all things Kenyan was fantastic and we could tell he had a huge amount of experience. We felt very safe with him driving and the vehicle was very comfortable. The accommodation was better than we could have expected, for the price we were really surprised by the luxury. Overall the trip was great value for money. We would have liked to extend our safari for much longer but unfortunately 3 days was all we had. Benson and Classic Journeys Africa really allowed us to make the most of that short time and we'll definitely book with them again.
