This was our 1st safari with Wildlife Encounters but it won't be our last!
5/5

We knew from our first correspondence with Judy, when we were trying to figure out which camp was the right fit for our family, that we were in good hands. Because we were traveling with younger children, we ended up staying at the Tuskers Safari Camp and basically had the place to ourselves. The camp is situated above a watering hole, and we spent countless hours mesmerized by the various animals that came and went right below us. It was amazing!
JD is an expert ranger and Vusi a very knowledgeable tracker. They not only found us a variety of wildlife (even the elusive leopard) but also spent time teaching our children all about the bush. From learning fun facts about the wildlife and terrain to stopping the jeep to look at different animal tracks, our kids had so many stories to tell their friends when we returned home.
The camp itself was clean and comfortable. Every meal prepared by Victory and her team was tasty and memorable. The staff went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met.
We can’t recommend Tuskers and Wildlife Encounters enough!

Skilled safari company and guides
5/5

Ruphina did an excellent job coordinating both of our Safari trips, and the guides we had were very knowledgeable about where to go and how to see the animals. Much appreciated! Recommend to confirm with Ruphina the exact itinerary after selecting lodge options as that may change other parts of the itinerary as well.

Enthusiastic, and welcoming guide who made you the whole adventure feel super safe and fun!

Booking Kubwa Five Safaris was an excellent choice! My 2-day overnight adventure in Akagera National Park was breathtaking, beautiful, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The first day started with a stunning long game drive throughout the park, where we spotted many Buffalos, Baboons, Zebras, an elephant, Rhinos, giraffes, different types of Antelopes, hippos, and birds! The views were incredible, and I felt engulfed in the mountains and lakes of Akagera. I spent one night in the Karenge Bush Camp where I enjoyed a wonderful dinner under the stars and a peaceful night in my tent where I fell asleep to the sounds of wild animals around me! I woke up to a beautiful sunrise and enjoyed a nice breakfast before our long and enjoyable game drive back to the entrance of the park. The weather was perfect, and we saw different herds of zebras, baboons, buffalos, pumbas, antelopes, hippos, etc. I ended my trip with a guided tour of Lake Ihema, where the captain explained the behaviors of different animals, including elephants, hippos, and alligators! Overall, it was a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend booking Kwuba Five Safaris for your next Tour!

The Best and we miss you!!
5/5

If I were to go on safari in Kenya again, I would definitely choose them again.

I am so grateful to my boys from Milana, the safari in Kenya has been a wish come true and everything was possible thanks to the help and excellent planning of Anthony, who from the first contact was very attentive and very professional. Thank you for choosing the best accommodations for Odet and me and for the good company you gave us; for spending so much time on all our queries and questions prior to the trip and for all the time spent since we arrived in Nairobi. I am also grateful for the wonderful surprise to celebrate my birthday in the Masai Mara...something I will never forget! Also special thanks and all our love to Anthony 2, our guide and driver...I'm sure there is no better driver than him! With you the safari and the game drives were phenomenal and extraordinary...thank you for showing us the best of Kenya...we miss you!!!

Amazing experience
5/5

While there are countless safari options available, contacting the agency and Witness was incredibly straightforward. She promptly responded to our messages, allowing us to tailor the safari to our preferences. We even had the opportunity to visit Kilimanjaro National Park for a walking tour and to join locals for coffee preparation. Immediately after, with our guide Guzlov, we headed straight to the first park. He proved to be an exceptional guide, ensuring we spotted all the animals we had hoped to see. Guzlov took great care of us throughout the journey, offering insights into animal life and migration systems in the Serengeti and surrounding parks. Staying overnight in the Serengeti was a truly remarkable experience. The hotel was superb, with attentive staff who catered to our every need. The sunrise breakfast overlooking the Serengeti was unforgettable. All the guides and drivers who accompanied us also provided exceptional service.

Fantastic 8 days Serengeti. Lost for superlatives to describe the package Dancing Simba presented.
5/5

The Dancing Simba Safari Co (run by David John) exceeded all expectations. The itinerary and organization of the Safari was absolutely superb. His driver/guide Prochase has been hosting Serengeti Safaris for 10 years and his knowledge of all the animals and environment was outstanding. His English language skills were very good. We saw animals by the thousands - elephants, zebras, hippos, lions, leopards and many more. Just for your information the estimated count of wildebeests in Serengeti 1.5 to 2 million. The Lodges, hotels and glamping sites we stayed were of a very high standard - king bed,s ensuites wifi! Would highly recommend Dancing Simbas - you won't be disappointed.

Amazing, very responsive and very happy to look at different options. Ms Emilia is wonderful.

I booked this tour on line after reviewing and reading the amazing reviews. I was traveling from NZ on my own and asked how many other people would be traveling, and it ended up being Sacky (Tour guide/driver) and myself for 14 days and 13 nights.
From when I landed in Windhoek and met Sacky, we had the most amazing time exploring the beauty of Namibia - extreme landscapes to the most incredible animals - I love photography.
Sacky was an incredible guide and driver - very knowledgable, thoughtful, kind and we had lots of laughs. He loves what he does and you can see this every day. Sacky is well known and respected at the different lodges we stayed at.
When you think about how you arrive and then spend 14 days with a person you have never met, we got on so well, learnt so much about Namibia and shared about each others lives.
Some of the days involve a lot of driving 4-6 hours on gravel roads with lots of bumps and potholes, we just got on with it and could relax and enjoy the different scenario. Sacky has a great music selection.
I was able to take amazing photographs of the wildlife and elephants being my favorite, there were some incredible moments of just sitting in the ute and these beautiful animals just walking past you.
Sacky would always discuss what we were doing the next day and time to meet.
I can not rate Sacky highly enough, in all the 14 days there was nothing that we argued or complained about.
We became good friends during this experience and will remain so.
If you get a chance to have Sacky as your guide - you will be very lucky and have an amazing journey.

Amazing experience!
5/5

My group of 5 had an incredible time on the 7-day Victoria Falls to Okavango Delta safari. We were met at the airport in Victoria Falls and everything there was handled through our lodge, including a lovely guided tour of the falls (Zimbabwe side). Our Victoria Falls lodge also handled our transfer to Botswana, where another driver met us; everything went smoothly and was very easy for us. We then had a wonderful boat tour on the Chobe River, where we saw a group of elephants cross the river at sunset. After the boat tour we met our guide for the rest of the safari, Sox, who was amazing! Sox took us on our game drives and handled the rest of our transfers on the safari. The game drives were incredible. We saw so many amazing animals, including many that Sox sought out for us. Our three nights of camping were also amazing. Our chef, Enoch, cooked incredible meals for us (taking into account our dietary restrictions), and camp manager Gaetey and camp services Jonathan made sure everything was comfortable. There was even a toilet and shower set up behind each tent! I highly recommend Moonstroll!

Excellent Tour company.
5/5

Our journey first began in March 2023, where we found shadows of Africa(SOA) on SafariBooking. As a family of six, coming from Los Angeles we needed certain assurances such as organization and clarity. Working with Tash she did exactly that and more. The itinerary was thorough with maps, descriptions, and the cost analysis. She was able to build in some rest days to accommodate for our 4 kids so they can be refreshed on the safari.

When we took our safari June 2024, the pick up was smooth. The next day, we went out the Meturuni waterfalls / coffee tour. This is a must to do. Check out the photos. The water comes directly from Mount Kilimanjaro. Our guide, Sylvester was well knowledgeable when doing the short hike to the waterfalls. He knew a lot of ppl in the village that helped made the experience more memorable. We ate bananas, avocados, passions fruit and more. The 2nd part which is the coffee tour was excellent too. He showed us how coffee is grown, processed, and made.

As we begun our journey to Arusha, we stopped at a place to eat called Kaliwa which so happen to be a lodge too. It was one of the two best vegetarian meals we had our entire safari trip. Also you had a chance to see Kilimanjaro.

We had the privilege to have Lucas as our guide. He was great with our little kids (pole, pole) on the safari. He made sure all of our dietary and exploratory needs were met. Although we had an excellent itinerary, he made sure we were not restricted by it. I see why people called going on safari, called it an once in a lifetime experience. We ate an hot meal in the middle of the Serengeti with wildebeest and zebras. The food was freshly prepared the morning of each safari trip that added to the loveliness of our trip. I give Lucas an 10/10. We saws the black rhino, Dek Dek, flamingos, hippos, elephants, of course Lions and many more. It was also fluently English, Spanish, German, and off course Swahili.
Tash recommended we do a cultural tour on our last day. I wish we did the tour over two days. We visited banana farm, rice farm, painting, word carving, local market, and then ate the second best vegetarian food on our trip from a local cook. It was a terrific option.

Lastly, Ben was our contact in Tanzania. We were able to quickly troubleshoot any situation. We appreciate his constant assurance and checking in with us daily.

Here are a few points I think you should think about. Bring more cash for tipping. Although it is voluntary, you will see the ppl that cater to you really deserves the tip and it goes directly to their pockets. Second we wish we brought more cash for souvenirs. I made a mistake thinking they will have a card machine in the middle of nowhere(Safari) when purchasing local honey or local crafts. It doesn’t exist. Also you can bargin more if you have cash especially shilling. As the cliché, says expect the unexpected!
