Unforgettable and inspirational time
We worked with Tanzania choice to come up with an itinerary that would work for two adults and two children aged four and eight. They came up with a wonderful itinerary where we did several days of safari, followed by a trip to olduvai gorge and its amazing archaeology about the earliest humans, and then several days at a Maasai village. It was the perfect mix of activities and every place we stayed was more special than the prior one. We had a wonderful time learning about the history, politics, nature, and culture of that amazing country of Tanzania. And of course seeing the incredible beautiful animals in their habitat.
I would highly recommend working with Tanzania choice and supporting this amazing country
Super professional - everything taken care of.
Our driver Robert was key to our experience. Very knowledgeable regarding all questions re’ the gorilla experience and how they compared in the DRC, Riwanda and Uganda. Our time with the gorilla family in Mgahinga Gorilla Park was a truly incredible wildlife experience.

Unforgettable Experience!
Our safari in Tanzania with Mahaba tours was beyond amazing. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and the accommodations were comfortable and well-located. We visited Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and were able to see the Big Five and so much more. Our adventure then continued to Zanzibar where we relaxed and dusted-off and Mahaba arranged for our stay and activities on the island down to the last detail. The beaches were awesome and our stay at the resorts was amazing. Highly recommend this company for an authentic and unforgettable safari experience!

6 star experience!
I did 3 day Masai Mara Safari and African Beast Tour has been extremely helpful from the very beginning. I asked for a quote for more than 10-15 tour companies (including inquiring directly via WhatsApp and not only through Safaribooking website) and they gave me the best price (I’m very used to doing campings and cheap travels so went with the most budget option) but everything was above the expectation.
Mercy, who was the main point of contact for the trip was super helpful, prompt with her response (even in the early morning of the day of the tour to organise the final part of the payment online), The camp had a good set up with a hot shower, barely had any bugs inside and the bonfire to meet other travellers which was highlight of the experience.
The driver James was also amazing! He knew everything (and every other safari drivers and guards at the gates) to ensure he’s always at the right spot, managed to see all the big 5 games (including Black Rhino which is super rare to spot) and wildbeests crossing the river (the spot was super packed with other safari cars and the rangers were moving them around but he talked to them and got snuck into a perfect spot to see them which was crazy!)
One negative part about the trip was that my seatbelt was broken from the beginning and all other seats were taken so felt bit unsafe for the trip there and back. Hopefully they make sure to check all the safety requirements as well before each trip.
Overall, everything (the price, communication, safari itself and accomodation) were above my expectation and had amazing time so thank you so much!!

Serengeti with Super-Max
Our 7 day adventure Safari did not let us down. We believe this is the right way of exploring the most famous Tanzanian National Parks with the Serengeti as absolute pinnacle. Unless you are time or budget restricted, take your time and do the 6 or 7 days tour to see all the beauty the parks have to offer! Our guide Max and chef Jeremiah were absolute stars.
Max is very patient, punctual and knowledgeable of the parks and the animals. He always has a plan! He will take you off the main roads to the areas with high likelihood of finding Cheetahs, Leopards or Rinos, everytime with success! You can also sense this is his passion. He gets as excited from spotting animals as we do! We also learned he is a celebrity in the Serengeti, everybody knows him and he is always eager to help everyone out! Jeremiah is a bush-cooking wonder. The variety of meals he puts on the table each morning, noon and evening is astonishing and goes far beyond your typical lunch box or bush cooked packaged spaghetti. Everyday a fresh meat or fish dish with plenty of rice/potatoes and veggies as well as now and then a bonus surprise dish :)) Both of them made sure every single detail of the trip was thought trough and went without a hitch. This also goes for the entire Suricata crew we have met along the way (Lewis, Bryson, Samson, Maleo, Mandela, etc) are friendly and very helpful, they form a real team when it comes to driving together, spotting together, cooking together, setting up camp together. It is truly a remarkable bunch of people.
Once more a big thank you to everyone who made our dream of seeing all these animals (including the big 5) up close , in real life come true and withness the great wildebeest migration first hand. These truly are memories for life!
This is purely based on the safari experience, utterly PERFECT. Outside the Safari, there are two things the company needs to address:
1. The Jevas hotel in the city center is not what safari-tourists are looking for. There are plenty of better alternatives on booking.com (e.g. Songota Falls Lodge) that make you feel at home and give you a place to relax in connection with nature before and after the Safari.
2. The employees in the city were unprofessional in the briefing. The main concerns were payment, tips and reviews. Not the experience which is a shame. It would be nicer to go through the itinerary again and what to expect during the journey.

Paul Oduor of Ramble Africa is tops!!!
To try to keep this brief , my trip which was actually booked last minute had every obstacle placed in front of me before I even left. The week prior to when I was travelling I had a fraudulent $4700 credit card charge on the one and only credit card I have. Got the replacement day of my travel in addition to car breaking down which I needed to drive 2 hours to Dulles for my flight departure. Then I was informed my Safari accommodations were changing and that about did it in for me since I really researched the orginal lodging. I was traveling single so this was very very important to me
Anyway I was now either going to cancel or just go on blind faith which my husband and everyone else I knew said CANCEL. Luckily I followed my intuition and was basically at Paul s mercy and he pulled through 100%. So much so that I refer to him now as my Kenyan husband. He would text at the end of the day to see how everything was and the if the accommodations were up to par. Seriously I have never done business with someone some genuine and going above and beyond. I had a little ruffle with our driver but this will never diminish Paul because not only is he a knowledge tour director but a truly decent human being
We are still working on the fraud issue since it came from Kenya but Paul has been there step by step with me on this Paul has not been fully paid yet because of the ongoing investigation so his integrity and patience are supreme
I have recommended this company and specifically Paul to many of my many former American Airlines co workers
You will not go wrong with Paul

Outstanding safari adventure!
We did a 5-day tour of Taranguire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. The diversity of landscapes, animals and moments that we were able to see was incredible. And this was thanks in part to our guide, Godson, since he completely adapted to our interests, answered our questions with knowledge and always tried to find the best place so that we didn't miss a single detail.

Exceeded every expectation
This safari tour was an incredible experience that was largely due to our amazing guide and driver Lemomo. He was super friendly and informative, finding the best spots to see animals throughout our travels in Tanzania and stayed in constant communication with other drivers to stay informed on where the best locations were. My family is full of extremely picky photographers that asked Lemomo to stop abruptly and frequently in order to get the best angles and he not only did so patiently but took initiative to prioritize our wants and needs by purposefully driving to locations with prime views of the sunsets and finding the best angles to photograph animals. Additionally, when we asked if it was possible to visit a local Masai village, he efficiently and effectively organized the outing for us, making the overall experience that much better. All in all, this tour under this company was well worth the money, especially if you’re lucky enough to get a guide as amazing as Lemomo!

Noel is a fun, efficient and knowledgeable guide, who ensured our safety and experience was perfect.
Our family group traveled from the US, to South Africa, then on to Tanzania through Nairobi. The planning of the trip in the months prior smartly planned a day or so buffer in case of travel delays. Planning with TCS took place over a few weeks with choices, timing and considering all the possible things we could consider doing. Brenda quickly adjusted our itinerary as needed before finalizing our trip. Wise suggestions since group was traveling from Safari in South Africa , she planned a rest time (day and half) in case of delays or need for down time. The down time was really needed to make the Serengeti and Crater very enjoyable.
The selection of lodges along the way were all very unique and lovely. Excellent hospitality and the food was great every where we stayed. We really liked all the places we stayed so much that when we come back we will plan multiple nights the lodges. Because of travel timing we stayed only one night at a few places which made it a bit hard to really relax. We really wanted to spend time watching the wildlife and take pictures, our guide was very patient with us. He was a careful driver, trying to make us all as comfortable as possible. We did spend a lot of time in the Rover and it was well worth it. My teenage son became ill with a respiratory virus in the middle of our time in the Serengeti. Our guide and the ladies at the Kabu Kabu Tented lodge were amazingly kind and helpful. Our guide helped get us to a doctor and stayed with us while my son was treated for a high fever. The Kabu Kabu ladies brought special meals and juice for my son and words of support for his Mom. We will never forget their kindness; we felt very well taken care of. (My son recovered just fine). We so many animals, and so many species, this trip far exceeded any of our wildest expectations.
We really enjoyed the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. One day or one and a half days is good for the crater. We spent 2.5 days in the Serengeti but could have easily done 3 days. Three days is a lot of time in the Land Rover, and may not be for everyone, but there is so much to take in. We also drove from Nairobi, which we won't repeat because it is just such a long time in a vehicle, rather we will fly into Arusha. Our family was a bit intimidated planning this trip but we felt very safe the whole time with our guide. For the time and cost to fly around the globe I would absolutely recommend TZ Choice Safari to get the most out of your time in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We felt the cost of our trip with TCF was really quite reasonable. We will be back.
