Caring, responsive and reliable—perfect for 1st time travelers
As a total new 1st time group of 4 travelers to Kenya Safari, the dependency on the agency is the highest. Luckily we chose Osnet, the hotel recommendations are great, with very good taste, and always ready to provide a good alternative selection during booking, super willingly to modify the entire trip arrangement to fit the budget and international flight schedule. Geoffrey is very caring and responsive. Our field guide Philip is super professional, with him, we saw all the animals in a very good spot, never need to concern about the road condition. They asked us for the feedback’s regarding the meal and stay every day, and if anything they promised to deliver back to help make the improvements. Another thing from my own observations, since they are this business for quite some time, with good local networking for real time info exchange such as traffic back to airport, animal sporting etc.

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic safari to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater with Allen Tanzania Safaris. We were a group of seven which included 4 teenagers. We each had an incredible experience.
Our guide shared so much of his knowledge - not just about the animals, but also about the parks, the geology, the flora, Tanzanian ethnic groups and Tanzanian heritage. He responded to our many questions and engaged us with plenty of interesting information about what we were seeing. We heard fascinating accounts of animal behaviour… and we even learnt some Swahili songs!
We had particular interest in the bird life in the parks and he catered perfectly for this and even kept a record of the 57 species that we saw - sharing his list at the culmination of our trip!
The lodges were beautiful with stunning gardens and swimming pools. One lodge was particularly teenage friendly with a basketball hoop, and volleyball court as well as a pool. The staff in every lodge were super welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and clean, plus the food was delicious!
The safari cruiser was reliable, comfortable and afforded great views of the parks especially when we popped the roof. We felt safe throughout, and respect for our surroundings was consistent.

Very nicely planned covering Naivasha also. Last night in Nairobi was also a pleasure.
Value for money, nicely planned tour covering Naivasha also. The only problem was the last 60-70 km road which was very bad.
Jungle Safari was good, we saw lots of animals.

Fourth time we, friends and family have booked with them and fantastic every time.
This is the third time we have travelled ourselves with Across the Wild. Friends who have booked with them have also had fantastic experience. Fina always takes time to listen to our requirements and budget and is very patient and diligent in tailoring our itinerary to suit. This particular trip we flew into Nairobi, then an internal flight to Mara where we stayed at Ashnil Mara Camp for three nights. Our guide, Kesea (Kool) was fantastic and knew exactly which territory to look for each animal. He made us feel like family. We took picnic breakfast and lunch to do a full day drive on our second day. We were rewarded with sightings of all the Big Five plus two cheetah feeding on a kill, all in one day! Our third day was also very successful with lovely elephant sightings and plenty of hippos and croc's in the river before a visit to the Masai village in the afternoon.
After flying back to Nairobi, David was our guide for the two days before we departed from Kenya. He was always good company, informative and punctual and nothing was too much trouble. We had an excellent morning in Nairobi national park with views of lots of white rhino and four lionesses on the move. This was followed by a visit to Sheldrick's, which is always special.
A big thank you to Fina and all the team at Across the Wild for another very memorable and excellent visit to Kenya.
