We were blessed with 2 guides Samuel and David who were the best! We saw lots of animals. Sam and Omega took care of planning everything from start to finish: pick up/drop off, flights, meals, lodging, etc. Very responsive and made the planning process effortless. Made our safari adventure easy and enjoyable. Sam was a safe driver and had a lot of knowledge about the animals. This was my 3rd safari and the best experience out of all of them. This is a family owned business, support family owned small businesses!

the company in general and Tongesai as the manager in particular, send the information and the plan, immediately upon our contact.
the plans were executed as promised, with no exceptions.
we provided with all we need and Tongesai was very attentive to our concerns and wishes and fulfill them to our satisfaction.
overall it was a wonderful experience, lovely game rids wonderful sails and thrilled scenic helicopter flights and great food.

Highly rewarding Kilimanjaro Trek with Popote!
My friend Maryanne and I did the 7-day Machame route in mid June of this year. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, and Popote Africa is to thank for that. Our guides, Thadeus and Nelson, were knowledgeable, encouraging, attentive, and generally very fun to be around! This also goes for the rest of our group of porters as well. The food made by our chef was nutritious and very filling, and it served to us by Nico, who was so kind and diligent in his effort to make us comfortable and content. Our tents were of good quality, and our sleeping bags very warm and cozy for the cool nights. The private toilet was also a huge bonus. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Popote as our team for this profound experience that I'll remember for the rest of my life!

The tour operator, Godfrey, was very responsive to our emails and many questions.
What an incredible experience. I love that Furaha allowed us to customize what we wanted to see. When you book with Furaha, you are working directly with a local operator and driver., rather than one of the many bigger conglomerates. Both the operator Godfrey, and the driver, Francis, went above and beyond to help is feel welcome, safe, informed and comfortable. The accommodations he booked were top notch, and they even set up a special anniversary celebration for us. We saw sooooo many incredible animals. Truly a bucket-list trip of a lifetime!
