LeKobe Adventures is communicative, friendly and ethical. Abel was amazing to be with on the safari!
5/5

The entire LeKobe team had amazing communication, everything was smooth from the hotel pickup to the airport transfer and the meeting of the tour guide in Mikumi. Any questions we had were answered quickly and efficiently by Jessica, helping set up payment and taking our wants into account when deciding which park to go to.

The tour was amazing, although I was worried at first about the time limit we felt as though we were able to see and explore a lot of the park in the time given.

- Lunch, snacks, and drinks were all provided
- Abel our guide was a blast to be with all day, he taught us lots of information about every animal we saw and had an answer for everything we asked! We sang songs, took lots of photos, and overall had so much fun
- Ethical Practices: we were not surrounding animals and trapping them with the jeep, we stayed a respectful distance from them, not to interrupt them

I learned so much in this one trip and am already planning when I can go on another safari. It was 100% worth the money and am glad we chose LeKobe as our provider for this trip! After speaking to some friends who had also gone on a safari it was clear not all companies have the same practices, assistance, or friendliness as the entire LeKobe team.

Everyone at Imara was fantastic and made the experience unforgettable for us!
5/5

Our Safari with Imara was amazing, we were blessed to see so much incredible wildlife up close. What made this so special was the care that Lewis and the team Imara put into making the itinerary to make sure each day was packed with action. The best part by far was our guide Edward! He added so much to the experience through his knowledge and experience. Because he knew all the right places to be (and with some luck) we got to see things that are not commonly seen. He also made sure that we were having a good time when we were traveling from park to park. We had great conversations and he was able to answer all of the questions we had, not just about wildlife but life in Kenya and beyond. When we had a bit of extra time he set us up to do an additional National Park to ensure that we were able to make the most of our time. Overall the experience was 10/10 and we hope to come back and do it again soon!

About: Namibia
Breathtaking Natural Beauty!

5/5

We took a 15 day driving tour from Windhoek and returned to Windhoek. We felt safe at all times, the service throughout the country was incredibly good!
See the Quiver Trees and Giants Playground, take your time and you might see some Hyrax (Daddies) - very cute.
I recommend skipping Ais Ais unless Gondwana have purchased it - very disappointing.
Luderitz is cute and the Nest Hotel is lovely - we had a room looking over the water - nicely placed.
Swakopmund is cute too - one night only tho, not much to see - we drove back to Walvis Bay for a seal cruise - was lovely but staying 2 nights in Swakopmund took a night away from Camp Kipwe - and that was very bad planning - Kipwe is incredible and deserves a minimum of 2 nights.
Etosha is great but we were not looking for Game, so although I found some fabulous Meerkats at the lodge - I would rather have stayed 2 nights at Otjiwa.

10/10 highly recommend!
5/5

My family of 3 traveled in early June from the US for the Roaring Kenya safari. We had a trip of a lifetime! Filipa had quick communication and thorough response in planning the trip. She went above and beyond when we had a travel snafu early in the trip and got everything sorted out for us.
Thomas our guide was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip the best! He is so knowledgeable and worked hard to hit all of our must dos and sees.
This was a trio of a lifetime. We hope to get back to Africa again!

Fantastic tour of Namibia, Botswana, Victoria Falls
5/5

16 Day, Namibia, Botswana, and Victoria Falls.
Our trip with Nature Travel Namibia was truly amazing. Kudos to our coordinator Nadine for the great communication and organization of everything. All of the lodges and camps were lovely, with modern facilities, comfy beds and great food.
Our guide Delano exceeded any expectations we had about spending over 10 days with a guide on a private tour. He took care of everything, made sure we were comfortable, and did a great job of showing us his beautiful country. We had some concerns that being in a car for days (and having most of our meals) with a stranger could be weird, but in no time we felt like old friends.
Delano’s ability to spot wildlife while driving was amazing. We saw so much wildlife, particularly in Etosha National Park and Chobe National Park. Lots of elephants, zebra, impala, giraffe, springbok, wildebeest, and hippos. Also oryx, kudu, lions, cheetah, hyena, rhino, jackals, so many birds, and some other animals we’re probably forgetting.
The unexpected gem of the trip was the Living Desert tour in Swakopmund. The guide Shantelle took us into the desert in Dorob National Park where she showed us geckos, lizards, snakes, and birds. A true reptile and bird ‘whisperer’, she has an amazing ability to find these little creatures.
We were there from 23 May 23 – 6 June, 2025. The weather was great. Cool in the morning (55 Farenheit) and comfortably warm during the day. Of course it’s generally really sunny, so don’t forget your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen!

They put together an amazing holiday for us, no complaints at all.
5/5

This was a high end safari experience and it was amazing.
Kojuu, with Judy at the helm planned the route and stops so we saw a range of different landscapes and their inhabitants, starting at beautiful Tarengire, with elephants galore... then on to Lake Manyara in a stunning lush forest, then a lengthy drive to the Serengeti with the most varied game in the central area, culminating in the Western Serengeti where huge numbers of wildebeest were gathering and starting to migrate Northwards..We loved every park and would not have skipped any of them. Only regret was not having more time in Tarengire and Serengeti. It was tiring moving so much but Judy ensured we had 2 nights stay in both lodges in the Serengeti which allowed a recharge - and some laundry ( very efficient, back the same day beautifully folded and smelling great!)
We had the same driver/ guide throughout, Justin, who was excellent at spotting and identifying animals and birds as well as navigating the parks and some challenging driving conditions on some of the tracks. He was also great company, we all had fun together and by the end of our stay we saw him as our friend.
Our accomodation was without exception, excellent, including the initial overnight in Arusha at Gran Melia hotel, but highlights were Tarengire elephant Springs, and Lahia tented lodge which had an incredible location on top of a hill with panoramic views of Western Serengeti dotted with wildebeest.... We would definitely choose to stay an additional night here if we came again.
After our safari we were returned to Arusha and flew to Zanzibar for 3 nights to have some relaxation time. We would highly recommend the Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond where we paddled with and fed the recuperating green turtles there.
However we would not recommend trying to swim with dolphins- far too busy, seemingly unpoliced to protect both the dolphins and the tourists. We asked to leave.
We would also advise anyone considering a beach stay at Zanzibar that the beaches have sadly been very eroded and there was just a sliver of sand really at our resort hotel, Nungwi Dreams ... Maybe other areas are better?....Although we still managed to swim in the turkoise sea there and there was plenty of relaxation space by the 2 swimming pools.
The kojuu team and those on the ground meeting us at airports and taking us out on tours were always where they said they would be. No matter that our flight to Zanzibar was 2 hours late, or we wanted to change the time of our Stonetown tour, we were greeted with smiling faces and told that it was entirely up to us. Justin always gave us a choice on the game drives where possible - whether we wanted an all day drive or early start then some downtime before an evening drive. And he would ask what we wanted to try and see and do his best to accomplish that. He knew what could be found in different regions of the various parks we visited and we did see the Big 5, and a whole lot more. A very early start at Ngorogoro crater was definitely worth it - much quieter and we did get to see 2 rhino which had disappeared by mid morning. Not to mention the lioness sat on the roadside on the way in...and the beautiful morning light.
On " cheetah day " in the Serengeti, we saw 8 cheetahs! Last sighting was a mum supervising a training opportunity with her largely grown offspring chasing a Thomson's gazelle right in front of us..
And a leopard pair tucking into their kill and napping in a tree together.
On " lion day" as requested, Justin came up with a very close encounter with a huge male and his 2 lionesses... And later on the same day another similar encounter with a larger group as we neared Lahia in the lovely evening light.
Although there were times when there would be a queue of cars around a sighting ( as with the leopards) Justin would give us as much time as we wanted so we often remained when everyone else had left. And he was great at heading to quieter areas of the parks so we were entirely on our own with those lions, and with a group of amorous elephants at Manyara..( it was the breeding season..) and with only 1 other car for the cheetahs. We also shared a strong interest in bird spotting and with Justin's " eagle" eyes identified around 65 different species in total!
Service everywhere was outstanding. The people of Tanzania were bright, cheerful and accommodating, always doing their best to ensure we were enjoying our experience whether they were serving us dinner or escorting us safely to our lodge after dark. We had several singing greetings either on arrival or departure and an unexpected anniversary serenade and cake at The Lions Paw lodge in Ngorogoro...
All in all a wonderful and stress- free holiday, very well planned and managed by the Kojuu safari team. We would definitely go with them again if we return- and we really hope we will. We loved Tanzania and it's people.

TWO AMAZING SAFARIS with our incredible guides PAPA & DENNIS through Amboseli, Nakuru & Maasai Mara!
5/5

JockyTours is legit.

First time travel to Africa can be overwhelming and filled with unknowns but JockyTours was never a problem. They were frequently available to chat via email and Whatsapp, they were accommodating and transparent regarding prices, itinerary, and services and they flexibly adjusted to and adapted to our plans as they evolved! JockyTours are an incredible value in not only the services they provide but also the accommodations they arrange and most of all in the skill and knowledge of their guides.

We were fortunate enough to book TWO (2) separate private & custom safaris with a 4 day break in between for a conference in Nairobi.

-SAFARI #1-
Amboseli & Lake Nakuru

We spent 5 nights and 6 days across Amboseli (2 full days/2 half-travel days) and Lake Nakuru (1 full day/ 1 half-travel day)

Our guide Papa was incredible. Papa's intimate knowledge of the areas along with his experience as a guide he confidently tracked and found rare wildlife events not common in each area for example a pride of lions hunting in Amboseli as well as a baby black rhino in Nakuru. Papa committed to giving us every opportunity to see Mt. Kilimanjaro making sure to keep an eye on visibility throughout each day as well as tracking different herds of elephants that would cross its view as well as exactly where and when to provide us with exceptional viewing and photographing conditions. He invested a lot of effort into our experience, often sharing useful knowledge, interesting history and trivia, and more often than not a good joke! He was a wizard on the road in how he weaved and navigated difficult roads, congested areas, and getting us to see everything we wanted, he not only knew how to solve mechanical issues on the fly but he also was Mr. Popular within the network of guides and communicated on the fly to get us to see the most out of each day. Papa truly felt more like a good friend you have known for a long time who you were visiting as he was showing us his incredible backyard, Papa rules and you would be so lucky to have him as your guide!

Thank you Papa, you started our trip off with a positive attitude that never left!

We stayed at the INCREDIBLE Manjaro tented camp with an intimate and authentically warm and kind camp staff while listening to wildlife out our door all night as well as the Hillcourt Resort and Spa complete with luxury amenities, a gym, pool, bar, spa, and restaurant dining.

-SAFARI #2-
The Maasai Mara

We spent 4 nights and 5 days in the Maasai Mara with Dennis from JockyTours and every day felt like a brand new adventure across completely different worlds!

We were picked up early and were accommodated as our group was split at 2 different locations, the drive from Nairobi was extremely smooth and safe as Dennis might be one of the most cool and chill human beings I have ever met, when we ran I to some traffic he calmly took a shortcut and saved us easily an hour!

Dennis was exceptionally patient, accommodating, and kind as we decided how we wanted to spend each day, he met us as early as the sunrise and stayed out just long enough to turn the headlights on as we pulled up to the lodge. Dennis knew where to find everything, from baby elephants, to lion prides, to active hunts and fresh kills-we almost never stopped snapping pictures and picking our jaws up off the floor! Dennis also paced out each day to see different things in varied environments to keep the trip fresh, and he continually spoke with Rangers, guides, and locals to help us track down the elusive Leopard which had evaded us for our entire trip, he knew it was our last of the big 5 to see and he made it his mission to find it for us -while at the same time not sacrificing any exciting moments to do so.

At the LAST TURN of our LAST NIGHT we saw it, we were out later than we should have been from watching a hunt and Dennis drove us by a know Leopard tree one final time, and sure enough after 2 weeks in Africa across two different safaris, Dennis nailed it and the Leopard stood up out of the tree and gave us a brief show to end our incredible first experience to Kenya and Africa!

Dennis always had a smile on his face, and a calm ease about him that was truly infectious in the best way. I couldn't help but feel like Dennis was really looking out for our family and it really made the difference from planning meals and bathroom breaks ahead to completely reading my mind on game drive itineraries.

Thank you Dennis, for the Buzzer-Beater Leopard! We will always cherish the memories you gave us!

We stayed at the Serena Mara Lodge complete with an AMAZING restaurant, spa, gym and pool each with vista spanning views and the MOST attentive resort staff I have ever experienced. We had immediate access to wildlife at the lodge like Baboons, Bushbacks, Hyrax, geckos, frogs, and mongoose as well as only minutes away from the Mara Triangle as it was located in the heart of the Mara.

Jockytours additionally was able to help us with our lost luggage with a service that was able to track our bags down as they arrived at the airport and then deliver them to us way out at our first safari. Truly exceptional service, if you have doubts, I can assure you, this company is as legit as it is excellent.

To anyone considering JockyTours, look no further, they are everything you need and if Papa and Dennis are any proof of their quality then you can't go wrong! & When booking ask for Samuel, and he will take care of your plans and make sure you lock in the trip you are looking for!

We couldn't be happier with how JockyTours treated us.
You won't regret booking with JockyTours!

An excellent and amazing experience
5/5

My wife and I spent several hours researching various safari packages offered by several tour companies. We decided to go with Destiny Explorers and we were not disappointed. Our contact, Issa, was so professional answering my many questions via email. His timely and detailed response was appreciated and helped us prepare for our safari.

Once we arrived our assigned guide for the first day was Thomas. He was so much fun and informative as he took us to the Arusha National Park. From day 2 through our last day our guide was Nico. We made friends with him right away. He's so kind and informative. He told us about each and every animal, the culture and so much more. He never got tired driving us for hours each day through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and more.

We were thrilled to see so many animals. Our guide, Nico was skilled at driving and spotting animals at the same time. He didn't miss a thing. We saw the big 5 (my wife got a glimpse of a rhino, I missed it) and so many other animals. We got so many amazing photos and videos.

The lodging that Issa selected for our stay were wonderful. We stayed at a variety of places including a luxury tent on the Serengeti. That was amazing!

Our safari trip was for 8 days. Issa was wonderful to help coordinate a custom package for my wife and I. Someone from Destiny Explorers was there to pick us up at the airport and we had a personal guide all the way through to the final drop off on our last day. We were always in good hands and felt safe everywhere we went.

I could go on and on about how wonderful and amazing our experience was with Destiny Explorers and their skilled team of tour guides. They are 5-star top quality. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an amazing Safari experience.

Michael bonded with us like a family member. Highly recommend Native Afrika for your safari needs!
4/5

I was in touch with several tour operators during my research for Kenya safaris. Amongst all, Native Afrika Voyages stood out due to the efficiency and speed of communication. Mary diligently followed up every couple of days to ensure the lines were open and her email was on top of my inbox. She provided all the necessary information about every segment of our trip in a concise and lucid manner. The hotels suggested by her across different budget options were also great.

We were genuinely and pleasantly surprised by the welcome at our hotel, accompanied by the useful gifts. Although the van provided for the ride lacked general excellence, Michael’s assortment of descriptions of the surrounding view with humorous detail and sleek driving skills well compensated for it. Michael is a knowledgable guide and kept my father well entertained and engaged throughout the trip.

The overall experience would have been excellent had we been provided a better vehicle (or would have been given a headsup about the van through sharing of photos in advance etc.). Nonetheless, I would definitely want to re-engage Native Afrika Voyages in future.

Truly unforgettable experience
5/5

I went for a 5-day safari trip in Okavango Delta with the guide Meier, and I would say this is definitely one of the most amazing trips I have ever done. Before the departure, whenever I have questions, I can always receive prompt responses and suggestions from the staff. Then, at the beginning of the trip, I was totally surprised by all the setup of the camping facilities and all the services provided from food to cleaning. As a backpacker and camper myself, I can tell how much effort the staff have put into to make sure all the guests feel comfortable during the safari and I am always amazed by their attention to even little details like giving us towels when we just got back from the morning or afternoon game drive. In terms of the safari itself, that's an even more memorable experience: our guide is very experienced, insightful and passionate about wildlife spotting, and he is not just randomly exploring by luck, but is synthesizing different pieces of information to find the most probable route and behavior of animals. There are always ups and downs when it comes to the number of wildlife we saw every day, but even on the dry days, I don't feel way too disappointed because I can really feel the efforts our guide has made. I am really glad that I chose Early Kingfisher for my first safari and they really helped me realize the magic and charm of safari in Africa, and I am already hoping and planning to come back and go with them again in the foreseeable future.
