Amazing
From the beginning (picking us up from our Hotel close to the Airport) till going back everything was perfect and exactly what we were hopeing. Our driver, Sibusiso (Sibu), was so friendly, funny and welcomeing, that we knew exactly from the first moment we talked to him, that the whole trip will be just perfect. When we arrived at the Lion Park, we felt like we are in a dream. Exactly what you think as an european about africa. And than the Tour through the Park with the really funny and friendly guy MK, was amazing. We will come back to Johannesburg and will do the tour again, 100%. Thank you!!

Amazing and exciting journey creating memories for life
We went for a five day tour with Suricata safari that was absolutely amazing. Rocky was a fantastic guide, being very knowledgeable, helpful and always gave us the best views of the animals. He taught us a lot about the animals, national parks, history and Tanzania in general.
The accommodation provided was great, and the Suricata Boma Lodge was amazing, located overlooking the lake, with great food, entertainment, clean big rooms and perfect service. The personnel was very kind, creating a joyful, relaxed and happy atmosphere.
We got freshly prepared meals for lunch in the parks, which was much appreciated with hungry teenagers.
We saw the ”big five” and many other animals like cheetah, hippo, hyena, wildebeest, baboon, crocodile, zebra, giraffe and jackal. The nature and wildlife in the national parks is spectacular.
I highly recommend Suricata safaris for all the reasons above, they provide perfect services from start to the end. Despite arriving after midnight Daniel came to give us information about the tour starting the day after.
Thank you for everything !

Unforgettable Week!
We had the most incredible 7-day safari with Destiny Explorers! Our guide, David, was an absolute gem — endlessly patient, deeply knowledgeable, and always ensuring we were comfortable and well cared for.
From spotting lions, elephants, leopards and giraffes to visiting a breathtaking waterfall and meeting two local tribes, every day was filled with unforgettable moments.
Each evening, we stayed in beautiful lodges and camps offering warm hospitality, delicious meals, and stunning views. We truly felt looked after from beginning to end.
Highly recommend Destiny Explorers to anyone wanting to experience the magic of Tanzania in just one week!

Complete humility, combined with helpfulness, understanding and experience.
We just returned from a 4-day group camping safari with Suricata Safari – and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Everything was spot on: the safari itself, the food, the atmosphere, and especially our amazing guide, Lewis.
The tour took us through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro – and it turned out to be the perfect combination. Each park offered something unique and brought us closer to different animals and landscapes. Tarangire was packed with giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Serengeti delivered countless lions, hippos, and many other species. And in Ngorongoro, we rounded things off by spotting rhinos, buffalo, monkeys, zebras, and so much more. It truly felt like we saw everything we could hope for – and then some.
Our guide, Lewis, was outstanding. Calm, knowledgeable, humble, and deeply passionate about nature – he made the whole trip feel safe, smooth, and very special. The food exceeded all expectations, with warm meals prepared by our own chef every day. And spending the nights camping inside the national parks, surrounded by wildlife sounds, was an incredible and unforgettable experience.
All in all, a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We can’t recommend Suricata Safari enough!

It was one of best hospitalities with quality services.
I felt honored due to excellent service provided by Makunga Tours and Safaris. Excellent briefing by Madam, Fadhila about the area, traditionally build cottages and types of fruits around. It was different experience there having local organic foods which were show-cased in clay pots. I experienced peace of mind and full of positive vibes there. Fortunately, got to meet Ms. Sasha, managing director of Sasha Spice Africa in the same event. It was nice intraction with her and came to know more about Africa. Thank you Makunga Tours and Safaris and Madam, Fadhila for this excellent treats. I wish to visit again in the future.

Extremely Disappointing Safari Experience with Kibera Holidays
Unfortunately, my experience with Kibera Holidays was extremely disappointing and frustrating on many levels. I feel obligated to share my story so that others can make an informed choice.
1) Major Route Change Without Notification:
The original itinerary clearly stated that we would spend the first two days in Amboseli National Park — the main reason I booked this tour, as seeing Mount Kilimanjaro was my top priority. However, without any explanation or prior notice, the route was changed, and we were taken to Tsavo East instead. I only found out at the park gate. As a result, I missed the one clear day to see Kilimanjaro. By the time we returned to Amboseli, the weather had turned cloudy, and when it finally cleared, we were already rushing to the airport.
2) Extremely Poor Vehicle Condition (Plate: KDL 368Y)
The safari vehicle (plate number KDL 368Y) was in terrible condition. Over the course of the trip, we lost around 10 hours trying to fix mechanical problems — valuable early morning hours that should have been spent on game drives.
On the first day, after my early arrival, the driver (Jacob) spent two hours unsuccessfully trying to repair the windshield wipers.
On multiple occasions, we had to divert to garages for repairs instead of going on safari.
On the final morning, when we should’ve been looking at Kilimanjaro, we were inflating a tire for an hour.
Later that day, a flat tire left us stranded on the roadside. Jacob was unable to change the tire on his own until other safari drivers stopped to help.
3) Uninformed and Unprepared Driver:
Jacob seemed completely unprepared for the trip. He did not know the route or even the names of the hotels where I was staying. He constantly had to ask other drivers for directions, which caused further delays and unnecessary stress.
4) Long Delays at Park Gates Due to Ticket Issues:
At every park entrance, we experienced long and unnecessary waits — often 30 minutes to over an hour — just to process entry tickets. Other safari vehicles were cleared within minutes, while rangers themselves seemed confused by our repeated delays.
The worst delay happened at Amboseli, where we waited over 1.5 hours to enter. Shockingly, Peter (the manager) asked me to pay the park fee using my personal credit card — something that should never happen on a prepaid tour.
5) Terrible Quality Lunches:
While breakfasts and dinners at the lodges were fine, the lunches provided by Kibera were awful.
On the first day, I was taken to a filthy roadside café with flies everywhere and food I couldn’t even eat.
The following days, I received “lunch boxes” with dry bread rolls, a tiny piece of cold boiled chicken, stale fruit, and cheap juice.
There were no picnic setups — I had to eat under a tree without a table. At one point, rangers in Amboseli felt sorry for me and invited me to eat in their office.
6) Water Not Provided Despite Being Included
The tour description clearly said that drinking water was included. However, Jacob was unaware of this, and I had to buy water myself throughout the trip. Only on the last day did Peter acknowledge the issue and resolve it.
Final Thoughts
Poor communication, disorganization, lack of professionalism, and vehicle neglect ruined what could have been an unforgettable adventure.
I strongly advise others to look for more reliable and reputable safari companies. I hope this feedback helps improve Kibera Holidays' operations, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

Very knowledgeable operators
We went on four safaris in Botswana. Each showcasing a different region/environment. Each camp was excellent;, food, vehicles, accommodations, and guides. They were excellent trackers, and worked very hard to meet all of your needs. No complaints, exceeded our expectations.
