Beautiful day at Kruger National Park with a fantastic ranger
Early in the morning Lance picked us up at our lodge. Get was still dark, but in the darkness he provided a nice start to the day with a cheerful smile and a good mood. We went to Kruger and it was a great day. We saw a lot of animals and that's thanks to Lance. Because Lance has years of experience and knows many other rangers, the day was a great success! It is definitely recommended to everyone.

Good tours in Uganda
We visited the chimpanzee sanctuary on the island and the rhino sanctuary at Ziwa Park. We were very well attended by Jamal and our guide Isac, whom I recommend. However, I do not recommend visiting the rhino park if that's the only thing you have to do and you are in Kampala. It's a 3-hour drive to the location, and once there, it's only a one-hour tour, then 3 hours back by van. We would have liked to do more tours in the park area, such as bird watching and the boat tour to see the shoebill. We had arranged with the agency to do these tours in addition to the rhino visit, but when we got there, they did not allow us to do these other tours.

Great service and an amazing experience
This was the most amazing trip we have ever been on. Suricata Safaris looked after us every step of the way from airport pick up at the start to drop off at the end. Our guide Rocky was out of this world. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure we saw so many animals and got as close as possible. James was the chef for our lunch each day and the food was fabulous. I was nervous about the food before we travelled as I am a picky eater but it was so delicious! Our accommodation every night was top tier. The Suricata Boma lodge was very luxurious. When we stayed in Angata tented lodge we had 2 hippos right outside our door before bed. Once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend Suricata Safaris for couples, families or solo travellers. And if you can try to ask for Rocky! Rocky made sure everything was perfect for us. Halima was lovely to deal with when booking our Safari and Mr T was very friendly and helpful when we collected us from the airport. We opted for the luxury accommodation and I would highly recommend this.

The tour went as we planned. The accomodations were comfortable, despite our low budget. Every camps was really nice, as well as all the people were very very kind. I am intollerant to gluten, and every person took care of my needs, so I am deeply grateful to them.
We changed 3 drivers, and each one was good in his work, especially the last one, Boniface.
Fiona, the manager, was always available for every questions , and ready to solve any matters, and that's made us feel safe.
She reached our group halfway the tour, to make sure everything was going well.
We spent a lovely week, in the middle of the nature. We are very satisfied of our holiday and thankful to Fiona for the organization.
And the parks are really amazing!!

Balu Travel is definitely the best
When I decided to finally travel to Africa and do the famous Masai Mara safari, I started looking out online for a reliable travel agent who could arrange everything for me. I came across many Tour operators and then sent messages to the 3 ones I selected. Morris was quick to revert back with an initial plan. His response was quick which gave me the confidence to move ahead with Balu Travel. I had many modifications to be done to my plans and Morris was ever so patient to attend to them and come back with exactly what I wanted. This made things so much easy for me. The payment process was ever so smooth and very safe. The confirmations were sent by Morris in a jiffy once the initial payment was done. Not only did I book the Safari with him, but the hot air Balloon and the airport transfers as well. Such was the efficiency. When we arrived, the driver was ready, all the other drivers for pick and drop were on time and Morris made sure to keep me updated via Whats App on every step of my trip.
On arrival at the Keerok Bush strip, Jeremy our guide was ready to welcome us. The next 3 days were nothing short of the best adventure. Jeremy is very well versed with the area and knows exactly where to find the animals. His knowledge of the region and the animals is paramount. Always with a smiling face and a humble attitude, we were glad Jeremy was around to show us what a real safari is.
Right from the planning to the time we went back to the airport to take our flight home, Morris made life very easy for me with the planning and Jeremy made the ground work too exciting.
If you are looking for a Safari in Kenya, Balu Travel and Morris is the go to agency. Don't look around beyond them !!
