This trip was the best holiday we have ever had. Botswana and Zimbabwe were beautiful countries with amazing wild landscapes. The variety of animals and birds we saw was beyond our expectations from so many elephants to the delightful meerkat. We enjoyed meeting villagers and gaining an understanding of their very simple lives. People here are so happy and friendly. We never felt unsafe. Camping on the salt pans was quite an adventure as was the family of elephants who blocked our track and were a little scary. Awesome to see lions however the leopards remained elusive to us. Zim Travel have been brilliant to deal with and everything went like clockwork. Thank you to Pamela who organised the trip and to Stanford our amazing guide.

Just perfect and friendly
Our safari with Big Apes Africa was an incredible experience from start to finish. We were thrilled to see all of the Big 5 animals up close, which was a highlight of our trip. The entire journey felt very exclusive and personal, making it even more special.

A fabulous tour which has us itching to return.
We researched a number of tour operators when booking our private safari tour + holiday to Zanzibar. And got several quotes. We had never heard of Loren, but their pricing was attractive and they are clearly listed on the Tanzanian government's website of licensed tour operators.
We paid a deposit by transfer using a website called PesaPal, with the remainder given in cash (USD) on arrival. From then on our accommodation, all transfers and internal flight was covered. Our guide stayed with us for the length of the tour and was a huge help in getting us where we needed to go, identifying species and keeping us very well fed.
Following an unforgettable safari, we spent a few days in Zanzibar in lovely surroundings and accommodation.
I'd recommend this company to anyone considering a Tanzanian holiday; your money will stay in Tanzania and not be sent off to some international tour operator, and the team will make sure that you are very well looked after. We already want to book a return holiday in future, and will be looking at Loren again when we do.

Our guide Richard was perfect in organizing all the safari.
Thanks to him we had the occasion to see all the animals (the big 5 and much more), and also an incredible attack of lions to buffalo.
He drove many hours in total security in very difficult roads.

Amazing Wildebeest experience in Maasai Mara
I had an incredible wildlife experience with this tour operator. Visiting the vast Maasai Mara for the wildlife migration had always been a dream of mine, and this trip exceeded my expectations. A dream came true with wonderful memories 🌻
I booked the safari from Delta hotel Dar es Salam with Mwajabu sultan and Mohamed Mohamed to Mikumi national park. The staff was wonderful and very kind. They did everything right. The travel experience with the new Tanzanian train was interesting and the Safari team was great. They explained everything and showed me the most of the wonder landscape and wild animals. Safari Experience in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
We recently went on a 5-day safari with Mountain Warriors. From the initial communication, the team was prompt and thorough in answering all our questions. Rosemary was kind and diligent, helping us find the perfect option within our budget and ensuring everything was well-organized.
Tanzanian nature and landscapes are stunning, and we were able to see the big five (plus lots of zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles and many other beautiful animals)! We had a couple of issues with our jeep but we were aware that it could happen, running on those bumpy roads... anyway we found a mechanic inside the park who fixed it, and this was also part of an unforgettable and truly adventurous experience!
The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. We opted to stay in lodges, and it was the perfect choice. After long days of adventure, it was wonderful to enjoy hot showers, comfortable beds and satisfying dinners! The food indeed was very good and abundant, including the lunch boxes they prepared for us.
We had a memorable trip and hope to come back to see the other parks of Tanzania soon in the future!
