A REAL SAFARI
5/5

From the booking of the private “5 Day Kruger Express” safari with Thale everything was clear and reliable, we chose Wild Planet Safari because from the description of the safari we understood that we were going to be with animal experts really in love with nature, not tourist guides and so it was, the driving hours were as long as possible from 6 to 6 which not all companies do, time flied because everything was so fascinating, the animals behavior, the changing landscapes, the light, we never got tired of driving around, our jeep was new, extremely comfortable and high to provide us proper views, anyway we had coffee breaks to stretch out, and fortunately it was a good period without too many other jeeps around so we had a lot of sightings for ourself, Chris our welcoming and clever guide drove us extensively through the Kruger, spotting animals for us and we were a lucky team as we met animals difficult to see more than once, leopards, rhinos, painted dogs, and all “small” animals we are keen on the same, as well as birds zipping along all day, and it wasn’t the migratory season.
We travelled towards north sleeping in different Kruger campsites, which I recommend, having the chance to see different areas of the park, the campsites have a historical taste, a visitors centre, some have lookouts and a shop, why not? ;) with books on wildlife. We were on a middle range safari and all lodges were in perfect state. One night we went on a collective park night safari during which we saw two baby elephants and different nocturnal animals. I wasn’t aware of the thousand of animals we would’ve seen, in this season many parts of the park are burnt to clear out animal viruses but it’s a good moment also because it’s the dry season and less leaves means you can see more animals.
I can’t forget to mention Hopeson kindness that provided us wonderful cooked meals all the way, I wish I could taste again his Potjie, pancakes and steaks, every meal was delicious.
We have such good memories from our trip that enlighted the rest of our year.
At the end of the trip we had the chance to meet Ryan, Thale and their lovely family.
Thank you so much guys!

The value for money is great, we appreciated the time and tour of Nairobi national park.
We took around 5hours to discover the park including the ivory burning site, a small market, a nature path, and of course seeing wildlife animals.
It was a great excursion! I would do it again.

The most awe-inspiring trip!
5/5

We booked the 5 day safari drive with Porcupine and it was by far the most amazing holiday experience I have ever had. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti two nights, Ngorongoro Crater and then Kilimanjaro. The landscapes throughout the trip were amazing and the animals were surreal. Our driver also took us on some of the roads less travelled and we got to see so many animals even in transit.

Anna was so friendly and helpful through the whole planning process. She gave different recommendations and was always available for questions.

Arriving in Arusha and being hosted by Anna felt like we were visiting a friend in Tanzania. Her daughter and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant were so nice. We did an extra day trip to Materuni falls in the Kilimanjaro foothills. Our guide David was so helpful and arranged a good deal taxi for us early morning to the airport the next day. And then he checked in on us at 5am to ensure we arrived okay at the airport. We really felt like we were being hosted by friends.

We went in a group of 6 and all of us said that this will be the trip to remember.

Thanks to Anna and her whole team!

Excellent service from Epic and especially Moses throughout our 3 day stay in Rwanda. Nothing was ever a problem and would always be there to assist and drop us off wherever we wished to go - even the crowded downtown hotel in Kigali!! Thanks Moses. You’re a gem!!

Best Safari ever
5/5

It was an incredible journey! We were traveling for 5 days and we saw and experienced so much. The camps were fun, the chef's food was tasty. He was very nice and helpful and always made you laugh with his cool manner. In general the people were very nice. I was particularly happy with my driver Mohammed! He accompanied us the whole 5 days and was always helpful. Thanks to his excellent general knowledge of the safari and Africa, he was able to answer all of our questions. He was also able to speak Spanish fluently so he could talk to our South American friends. He was able to fulfill all of our wishes. We also saw all the animals that we had set out to target. His driving was so good that our group was convinced that he was in the movie “The Fast and the Furious”. We also called him Vin Diesel. Thank you for this great exciting trip and experience! The safari is 100 percent worth it and worth every dollar.

Fantastic Kenya Safari Trip
5/5

Hi All,
I'm from Kolkata (India) and I'm here to share my trip experience with you all. The complete safari trip has been a wonderful experience for us. With Mr. Ben being our guide, everyday of our trip has been an exceptional great experience. Our trip was from 17th July till 26th July. We have even witnessed wildebeest migration in Mara River and that was absolutely beyond our imagination!! Although we couldn't witnessed any leopard apart from other nocturnal animals in Soysambu Conservancy, but we have witnessed it in Masai Mara National Reserve. We were also lucky to witness the 'Chander Pahar' that is 'The Mountain of the Moon' which is a dream for all the Bengalis as we have novel with the same title written by renowned poet Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay (Mt. Kilimanjaro). Including Nairobi National Park, Amboseli National Park & Masai Mara we got to witness all the Big5s. We have never been so close to Giraffes at Giraffe Center. The crescent island walk after the boat ride at Naivasha Lake has been another magical experience where we got to witness the herbivores walking by our side on their own and the taste of wild prickly pears was amazing👍. The bicycling ride to Hell's Gate National Park for stretch of more than 8kms has been another wonderful experience as we get to know about the Pride Rock where Lion King has been filmed! & also Fischer's Point! A water pit in Amboseli as big as a lake full of flamingos has been a great sight! We got a welcome from a Lion King at Lake Nakuru National Park and a warm welcome from Ferozki (Elephant) in Amboseli. Overall experience was great just that since the booking was done within the same month our preferred choices of accomodations was not available apart from one (Kibo Safari Camp @Amboseli). Mr. John has been a wonderful helpful person all along the trip so that we do not miss out on any.
I would have visited David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust as well but it got missed just for a little miscommunication from the tour agent side even after my confirmation on time.

Will do it again and again!
5/5

I just returned from a 9 day Serengeti tour w my teenager daughter. I would do it again and again if I could. It was a "never forget" closeness and experiences w wildlife! 6 days we spent camping and visiting Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Tarangirw w out chef İDRİS and our guide/ excellent driver INNOCENT was hands down just an awesome adventure. İdris went out of his way to satisfy me and my daughter's picky eating habits and he also nursed me back to feeling better as I entered the country w a sinus infection. We had 3 full course meals a day that was tailored to our choices.
Our guide INNOCENT was our comfort zone. Being from the western life style he made it very easy for us and kept us comfortable in the conditions that we aren't used to. Being an emergency vehicle operator myself I applaud his driving skills in the rough terrain and foggy/ muddy hillsides. He kept us safe and comfortable. His knowledge of his country/ culture/ and wildlife is just off limits. He got us as close as arms reach to some wildlife and we never doubted our safety. He knows his Serengeti like his own palm and will find you that animal you wants to see. I can tell you that I wanted to see a male lion up close and boy did I see them! An abondance of 🦁 and lioness'. He even managed to get us a viewing of a very rare sighting of Rhino 🦏. We did see the BIG 5 ! And it was amazing. We had front stage view in f the Wildebeest river crossing. Innocent was organized and structured , he let us know, in advance of the schedule, what to expect, and what can go wrong-as in foggy weather and limited visual of places. If we didn't get to view certain places due to inclement weather conditions he managed to make it back there on a clearer day. At no point did we feel threatened ur uncomfortable being that I was w a teenager. He and İdris were very respectful and giving. We enjoyed having meals w them. His level of English was also great. Able to speak to you fluently w great vocabulary. Our tents ⛺️ and luggage 🧳 was always readily available and always secured for us. If I had the opportunity to do it again I will definitely request Innocent and İdris!
