Outstanding Luxurious Safari and Beach Honeymoon
My wife and I just came back from our honeymoon, consisting of 2 nights in a Rhino conservancy in Lewa followed by 3 nights in the Masai Mara before finishing on the white sandy beache of a private island in Zanzibar. You know when some people just know what you want and you don’t need to explain much, that’s the special treatment we got with the Luxury Safari Company. Everything was planned to the smallest detail and went on smoothly, no stress at all, we didn’t even feel things were planned in advance. Top notch luxury in terms of food, treats, service, accomodation, transportation.....and all without show off, truly unforgettabe experience....!

amazing honeymoon trip!
we booked a 5 day honeymoon tour via Shemeji. The communication via email was good and fast. Our guide was really nice and tried to spot all the animals we wanted to see. Also we really felt like being on a honeymoon!:) we also booked a citytour and a daytour to Arusha and both tours were really nice as well!

Roger is tremendous at planning a great safari
Roger from Safarilifestyles.com was great planning our safari. He listened to exactly what we wanted (game key more than amenities), answered a multitude of questions via email, made suggestions, and changed things as needed. His website is excellent and his follow-up making sure everything worked perfectly was great. I was nervous wiring a large amount of money across the world but need not have been, everything was delivered as ordered.

Spectacular Cape Town, Safari, Vicotria Falls Trip
I researched a number of travel companies -- including several from this site -- and settled on Pembury for their price, reviews, and responsiveness. Laurette organized an exceptional trip for us: we loved all our accommodations -- had the luxury African feel we were hoping for. In Cape Town, we stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel: great location and wonderful restaurants close by. We had the same private guide from airport pick up, three days of tours, and airport drop off, which was perfect.
Our Safari was at Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands. Such an amazing experience -- my friends who've been on safari were surprised by how close we were to all the animals (elephants drinking from our private splash pool at our room, lions and leopards literally walking around and underneath our jeep). And Elephant Camp in Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) was a dream -- wish we'd spent more time there! After seeing all my pics and videos on Facebook, several friends have already asked me to send my itinerary and travel planner info to them.
I've travelled extensively, 45-50 countries, and generally make all my arrangements myself. But since I've never done a safari and wasn't familiar with these countries, I went through a travel agency and am very glad I did. I always felt safe and all the details were handled. But even now, I would not tackle this on my own; a travel agency is a must -- there's just too many details/transfers and such to safely tackle on your own.
This was an unforgettable experience, and our group was delighted with Pembury, and Laurette!

Refreshing and safe
This trip went well above my expectations : each passenger has a window seat, the roof of the van was amovible so that we could have a panorama view. The accomodation was good and camp|hotel staff very nice. And above all, Edward the driver was fun, professional and reliable. He made the trip as smooth as possible. Today, he even lets us depart from the Nakuru park 1 hour later because we wanted to enjoy lions and girafes. Great Service.

13-days safari with Kajie Safaris in Uganda
The planning was really detailed and Ronald was really cooperating in the organization – also for the payment everything was clear and honest, even flexible because we had some extra free days to spend and they were available for driving us from and to the airport as needed. During the safari our guide was Martin, a good guy who was friendly and nice and helped us with some advice to be best prepared to the activities. Everything was well done: the car and boat safaris, the relaxing moments on the lakes shores, the car transfers always calibrated, and the lodges and the food. In one case we also had a free upgrade to a suite due to some workers making noise in front of the balcony! We also had some adrenaline activities: trekking on Rwenzori and rafting on the Nile.. it’s incredible how Uganda can surprise you with so many different things! Definitely recommended; with Kajie Safaris you can also make safaris in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda - we chose Uganda because it was our first time in Africa, but if we should come back in one of the other countries we would surely chose them again!

Professional Service and Guidance
We booked our Kenyan safari with "Heritage of African Jungles" and it was well planned and organised by them and we spend a week from 23rd June to 29th June-2018 and we are very happy with the service that they provided to us. We will definitely recommend their service to our Sri Lankan friends if someone wishes to visit Kenya. Special thanks to Peter, for his extended support given to us when locating and identifying birds. I guess he is the perfect fit for our safari. We saw most of the big animals, except leopard, but that is the nature, you have to accept what nature offers to you. The lunch on last day was not a part of our tour package, but they were generous enough to provide us the lunch at L. Naivasha on 29th. We are very much appreciating that.
We recommend "Heritage of African Jungles" as one of the best tour organisers that we have met.

Professional, Transparent, Reliable
My dad and I went 3N4D tour with It Started in Africa.
Especially I would like to mention two persons ; Bernard, the reservation manager was very agile and flexible to my request and David, the driver/guide was very knowledgeable and experienced in the endless plain.
Even though there were some hassles in payment process, since their local bank had in problem to clear my Pesapal payment, Bernard transparently & frequently shared what's going on and my tour was well done without any discomfort or concern.
As many communities said, It Started in Africa had hard time due to their oversea agent problem in 2017, however, now they are doing best to rebuild their brand and reputation. I highly recommend to ask quotes to them and take a tour with them in Tanzania!

Fantastic!
This has been a trip of a lifetime- we were looked after from beginning to end from the great work of Esther helping us tailor our trip to the amazing job of Robert, our driver, who is so knowledgable and caring.
This is not an easy trip to organise for a first timer and having the knowledge and support was key- I also think that the fact the agency is so well connected with the lodges and other suppliers it just made our life so easy.
Thank you and until next time!

Completely Satisfied!
I did a solo climb with Chacha and his team followed by a five day safari with my family in May/June, and from the start the whole experience was fantastic. Chacha is not only an experienced mountaineer, superb safari guide, and all-around good guy, he is the independent owner and operator of this company, which means he if fully dedicated to ensuring that his services will be to your satisfaction. From our very first email exchanges I could see that Chacha was sincere about providing the best possible experience at a very competitive price. He was prompt in answering all of my queries and extremely flexible in meeting my requests. He even provided me with some equipment I didn't have for the climb. Throughout our trip Chacha went out of his way to help make this one of the best vacation experiences I and my family have ever had.
Climbing with Chacha and his crew was a real treat. We did a 7 day Macheme trek. His whole team were positive and fun, and I really enjoyed interacting with them. The service and food were great, and I felt safe and relaxed the whole time. Chacha's experience in climbing Kili was a bonus in so many ways. He got us up early (with breakfast prepared) so that we were usually the first to leave the camp in the morning. Not only did this mean I often had the trail to myself, it also meant that we would get to the next camp early, avoiding the afternoon rains that everyone else was hiking through and getting the best spots for our tents. He was also the only guide I saw on our summit day with the foresight to bring crampons, which made our decent through the snow so much easier, faster, and safer. Chacha clearly enjoys climbing, and his good nature and encouragement made the whole journey better.
After the trek we met my wife and 5yo son in Arusha for our safari. We did a five day trip through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti that was far better than anything I expected. Chacha was very attentive to our needs, and great with my kid. The car, accommodation, and food were all excellent, and the wildlife viewing was incredible! Chacha has a great eye, and he spotted a lot of things that we (and other cars) seem to miss. Throughout the trip he was always pleasant, patient, and helpful.
In short, if you are looking for a fairly priced operator who is going to give quality personal service, then I would highly recommend this company. Thanks for a great trip Chacha!
