Friendly, thorough and super helpful
My wife and I booked a safari with Delfin at Taita Hills at relatively short notice. The safari saw us travel on the SGR to Voi and spend two days at the Taita Hills resort and spa before travelling back by SGR to Nairobi.
The Taita Hills resort and spa is a great base for a safari. The staff is fantastic and goes out of their way to make your experience memorable.
Delfin was fantastic from start to finish. Annalice was absolutely amazing at arranging the trip, including organising SGR train tickets, collections, and drop-offs both in Nairobi and Voi. Throughout the booking process and then during the trip Annalice was in regular communication, going out of her way to ensure everything ran smoothly, including coming to collect us from Nairobi SGR station when we returned after the trip. I fully recommend Delfin and the Taita Hills safari package to anyone who wants to experience a great safari, with fantastic support throughout.

Charismatic and very accommodating
We traveled from Johannesburg airport to Selati game reserve. The trip went very smoothly and the driver was very helpful and gave plenty of guidance as we drove along. Answered all questions and if we needed to stop anywhere he was accommodating.

Tongesai is an amazing guide who pays attention to every detail.
Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours and Tongesai Mutematsaka come with my highest recommendation!! Our trip to Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana was everything I could have dreamed of. Tongesai was easy to work with, and always communicated back with me very quickly. I told him what I wanted and he personalized our experience within our budget. He was very flexible when I wanted to make any changes. He took care of every detail so I didn't have to. It was fabulous!! I highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed.

Where to even begin!!!
We had no idea on what we wanted other than going to Africa for a Safari but Daudi from Meijo Safaris customised the best trip for us from the Airport to the parks, He gave us multiple options to choose, We truly can't thank him enough for assisting us on this unforgettable experience.
Communication was excellent and reliable and the safari itself was amazing and our guide deserves a 5 stars rating as he managed to take us to every place inside the park for the Big 5 and Big cats.
The roads are not good but his driving skills brought us back to town safely and happy.
My Wife had a cake surprise which I actually didn't expect as we didn't discussed it with Meijo before but they found out through our travelling passport which we sent to them before our arrival.
The lodges were incredible and exceeded our expectations and worthy every penny.
I will always recommend Meijo Safaris to family and friends.

Safari of a Lifetime
Tropical Wild Expeditions provided a personalised tour tour to Samburu with a highly experienced expert driver, David. He succeeded in finding lions (at a kill), a cheetah (with three cubs) and, best of all, a leopard during the 4 day, 3 night tour. These exceptional sightings were made more memorable by the dramatic hilly scenery and accommodation at Sopa Lodge which was excellent in every way. We felt the tour was very good value for money and our driver was very competent, experienced and polite.

Unprofessional, deceitful and greedy Kenyan operator
- We booked a 7 day Masai Mara, Lake Naruku, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli safari with Wildbound Safari from 3-9 August through their consultant, Electine.
- Wildbound Safari is a terrible operator who outsources to other operators, in our case - Jocky tours and does not bother to follow up on the itinerary. Thankfully our guide Joseph from Jocky tours was great.
- There have been multiple hiccups with them right from the start. First, we booked a mid-range safari experience with all Sopa lodges accommodation and paid the 50% deposit weeks in advance. Weeks later, on the actual day of our flight to Africa were we suddenly informed that all our Sopa lodges are full and our accommodation have been downgraded.
- Fine, we accepted that but then again they downgraded us to a tent/ campsite on the last day instead of the hotel that we had paid for. There was no refund of the amount we paid.
- Wildbound Safari also misrepresented and gave us a deceitful proposal with 2 game drives (1 in Lake Naruku and 1 in Amboseli) omitted as we were merged with another tour group who paid US$1,000 less per person than us.
- They then failed to refund us the entry fees for those 2 game drives that we missed which amounted to US$240.
- Wildbound Safari is super unprofessional as when they picked us up at Nairobi airport, Electine gave us the wrong bank account info for us to complete the rest of our payment here despite us checking multiple times with them.
- After our funds were transferred with proof of payment that the funds have left our bank account, they insisted on us paying a double amount to them again through no fault of ours.
- They called our guide Joseph everyday to bug us and we never got a good night of rest, and we were constantly bugged throughout the long car rides.
- Speaking of which, our itinerary guaranteed no more than 6 passengers in a group per land cruiser but they squeezed in 8 people and it was so uncomfortable!
- Their director Duncan did not take any responsibility and instead disrupted our schedule by insisting that our entire group stop by Nairobi to pay them and even go to the bank which is known for ridiculously long queues.
- Duncan also threatened us and said that our accomodation for the rest of the trip isn't booked if we don't pay them again.
- Duncan then also threatened us with police at the airport.
- Basically this has been a shit show for what was my birthday trip and I would never ever deal with them again.
- Deal with them at your own peril. This trip is an absolute disaster!
