Excellent overall safari tour of Kenya, amazing what we did and saw in just 6 days
5/5

Our safari guide was Nick, who was excellent. Having a great guide makes all the difference. Often we were the only vehicle out there seeing something amazing. Nick has a great sense for where to go and when. We did a safari in Tanzania where we saw two rhinos in the WAY distance, could barely see them. Nick got us up close to a group of 9 rhinos, then went to a different area where we saw a mama rhino with her baby, both groups were very close.

When we booked this safari, we wondered if it really made sense to do the Serengeti in Tanzania and then do Kenya as well. The answer is definitely yes. Well worth it.

We had great communication before the safari and everything was taken care of as promised. They even threw in a couple of extra unexpected perks.

Highly recommended!

A dream came true with Enchanting Tanzania Safaris
5/5

We went on a 3 days Safari with Enchanting Tanzania Safaris to Ngorongoro and Taragire - and it was just amazing. The planning was very individual to our wishes, everything was organized perfectly by our guides who were very knowledgeable, experienced and so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for that great experience and for finding new friends in you :)

Memorable safari experience
5/5

I had the requirement for a short safari in Nairobi park due to limited time. Samuel gave me a excellent tour, having great knowledge about the park and wildlife. He showed all highlights and he trated the park with respect, which gave me the feeling having made the right choice with Samuel as operator. I enjoyed this very much and have plans to come again.

Thank you Wayfairer for working with us and arrange an amazing family holiday.
5/5

Hi, we had all our documents and details sent to us by email and post. All the information we needed was there.
We chose Riverdene lodge for our eastern cape safari. We would recommend this lodge to anyone with children especially under the age of 10. The lodge is beautiful set with only 9 rooms and a children's clubhouse with wall climbing and small zip wires. The children's centre seems almost entirely your child's with never more than a few children there at any one time and a small team exclusively there's to entertain them. The chef was happy to make most food requests. Our ranger Jess was brilliant. It is a really good way to introduce safaris to kids with no need to take antimalarials. Although it is a different experience to the Masa masa or the Serengeti we were pleasantly surprised by this safari experience as it had its' own charm. Thank you for Wayfairer for organising and the team at Riverdene lodge Shamwari for an unforgettable experience especially for our 8 year old.

Great!
5/5

We did a four day safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. The safari was great and very well arranged. We saw almost the entire big five and a lot of other animals. We traveled in a small group with four persons and a guide and the chef. Our guide Nazaro was amazing and the chef aswell! Great breakfast, lunch and dinner! Sunny weather. Overall a great experience.

5 days / 4 nights Lake Manyara, Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti
5/5

We had an impressive journey in a group of 6 people. The travel planning was uncomplicated and reliable, a prepayment of 15% of the travel price really fair. Our driver Isaac was very reliable and made sure that we could observe all the important animals extensively. Our chef has conjured even on the campgrounds still a 3-course menu with plenty of choice. Tents, mattresses, sleeping bags and plenty of drinks were catered for. We enjoyed the trip with very nice international passengers and would always go back to Meru Slopes.

All started well, but we're completely abandoned for our stay in Zanzibar!
1/5

Avoid this company at all costs, they changed our itinerary, omitted many features of the trip, booked us into a substandard hotel, provided a vehicle which should not have been on the road, and a suicidal driver. Once we got to Zanzibar, all communications ceased, leaving us to arrange and pay for meals, drinks, outings, transfers and flights, which were supposedly included. Very disappointing. Only redeeming feature was Michael the guide who was a star.

Full wildlife Uganda experience with an excursion to Zanzibar
5/5

The adventure was certainly one of my best to date and will be remembered for a while to come!
We had an amazing time and the team from Matoke did an excellent job all round with the whole itinerary unfolding to perfection and to top it off Kasule (the driver) was a real champion who really took great care in ensuring we had the best trip possible. He was very attentive to our needs and we really could rely on him to coordinate and manage the entire logistics portion of the trip.

Accommodation in general was fantastic! starting at Murchison River Lodge and Bush Lodge but it was a close tie between Lake Mutanda and Mahingo which we really loved! I must confess that I was quite disappointed by Enjojo. Even though I consciously decided to do the Bamboo hut as a lower cost alternative it was definitely not worth $75 as the hut leaked onto the bed and when the camp management moved us, they put us in a very musty and partially rotting tent which I would have been hesitant to spend $10 to stay in. A word of advice is not to put any guests in this side of the camp as it is really not fit for paying guests. They tried to assure us they are building new lower cost alternative condos, so if I were you I would wait for those to be completed before sending guests back to the low cost alternative at Enjojo. But overall that is a very small blip on the otherwise near perfect trip.

I managed to see the Shoebill, the Gorillas and the Chimps so pretty much perfect from a wildlife perspective with some great pictures to boot, we just need to sort through them all now ;)

Matoke was a fantastic choice for this holiday and their team really looked after us so well!
I will certainly recommend anyone who asks, firstly that Uganda is a wonderful destination and secondly that if they go Matoke is the only option!

Hopefully I can save up and afford another trip to do the rest of the country we didnt get to this time such as Kidepo, Ruwenzori and another visit to Bwindi to find the African Green Broadbill

My experience with Afrozone Kingdom Safari
5/5

I'm just came back form Tanzania... what a wonderful country!
Also my trip was perfect thanks to Afrozone Kingdom Safari. Adam (the owner) was so kind, reliable, quick in answering to all my question and very helpful in organizing my trip in each detail; I felt so comfortable and reassured even before my departure.
I booked with him a 3 days safari (the Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro crater and the Tarangire) and a 1 day tour to the Kilimanjaro, that I strongly recommended for its waterfalls and coffee plantations!
Even Adam was so glad to help me to find a place where I could bring some clothes and toys for unfortunate children. He brought me to Mama Rose's house: please, if you can, plan a half day to visit her and the kids she takes care of...it was an unforgettable experience, they were so happy when received the gifts:)

In the end I strongly recommend Adam and his company, everyone well-prepared and everything well organised.
Thanks!!
