A delightful experience with gorillas
We had a great time with Standard Safaris. From start to finish, we were very satisfied with the responsiveness and organization of our trip. Coleb, the owner, crafted a fabulous plan for our 3-day/2-night private tour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to track gorillas, followed by a leisurely evening at Lake Bunyonyi—the third deepest lake in the world. Everything was clearly laid out, and communication was always prompt and effective.
Yonah, our guide for the 3-day trip, was knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to our needs. His years of experience were evident—he knew all the best spots, expertly scheduled our days, and made our experience truly phenomenal.
Seeing gorillas in their natural habitat was the experience of a lifetime. We were fortunate—our tracking took only about two hours, giving us a full hour with the Bweza family. Our Bwindi ranger was delightful, with years of experience in the forest. She shared everything about gorillas—their habits, life, and so much more.
Lake Bunyonyi was another highlight. Our trip included a 1.5-hour boat tour on the lake with a local guide, who seemed like a local celebrity—his grandmother survived the punishment island on the lake. He’s also a community organizer and developer, running educational programs for the local population. In the evening, we took a plunge in the river and enjoyed phenomenal views from our lodge.
Overall, we highly recommend Standard Safaris for trips in Uganda. They exceeded our expectations, and we absolutely loved our experience!

Epic Rewilding Experience
We just got back from an epic experience of a lifetime in Tanzania with Safari GOATs! Our most heartfelt thanks 🙏🙏🙏 goes to Eddy, who captained us from the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Ngorongoro Crater, across the vast Serengeti plains and back! We didn’t only get up close and personal with the BIG 5 (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino), but also witnessed a Wildebeest river crossing – with crocs in waiting no less!
As our guide, Eddy was reliable, resourceful and totally trustworthy over the course of our 12-day trip. But he was so much more! His cool, good-natured demeanor gave our journey a personal dimension that would not have been the same otherwise. Through his humorous storytelling we learned a great deal about life in Tanzania while sharing many laughs together!
Overall, our holiday in Tanzania exceeded all expectations! Our sincere gratitude goes to Eddy and Safari GOATs for planning our journey: from the terrific value-for-money selection of camps and lodges to accommodating our last-minute wishes and caffeine binges! Btw, any initial reservations we had about the food were completely unfounded—it was excellent! (Tip: If looking for a special nightout, check out the Lilac Oasis in Keratu on the road from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro.)
Eddy had told us, "Nature gives you what you deserve, not what you want," as he took us on an incredible journey of rewilding. Still, the experience has left us truly wanting more, with the memories of the stunning scenery, fascinating peoples, and diverse wildlife still lingering in our minds.

Always there for you!
The trip was very well tailored to our needs.
We had been talking to Justin for at least 3 months before the trip start and I can say that he responded very quickly and help us organize everything.
The visit to Serengeti, Tarangire and Arusha national park were amazing. The drivers were very reliable and you feel very safe on the car. Although the parks were amazing for their own merits we want to praise our guide to the Materuni waterfall.
We have had some problems and we were not really in a very good mood while preparing to visit the Materuni. Luckily Allan really made the day for us. He's very funny and explains you a lot of things about your surroundings, He talks about the culture, the people, the plants... and has a lot of patience walking you through the path to the waterfall. He was our favorite guide by far.
The days in Zanzibar were amazing also. We were on a budget and they really find the perfect hotel for us. Melik's hotel in jambiani beach was wonderful. The location was perfect, the staff (especially Alex) were very kind and made our days perfect.
On the flight from kilimanjaro to Zanzibar we lost our handbag with all our cash money inside and Justin from see endless help us calling the airport and telling us what to do. He was truly helpful in a very stressful situation.
It was our first safari but we think that the value for money was really good.

Excellent
Serengeti Green Tanzania became my chosen partner after contacting many travel agencies. Our travel planner, Davies, is the most professional, patient, and flexible tourism worker I have ever met. I studied tourism in college and worked as a tour guide for some time after graduation. I deeply understand that a tourism worker's responsibility and dedication are far more important than the size of the company itself. After contacting many travel agencies, including some well-known and larger ones, I chose Serengeti Green. It turned out that my choice was absolutely correct. All our itineraries were carried out according to the pre-arranged plans, including the guides I specified beforehand. The Serengeti Green Tanzania team was highly professional.
Our airport transfer and citywalk tour guide was Frank. He is an extremely sincere, kind, and warm-hearted young man who took care of all our needs, continuously explaining everything to us, and taking us to all the must-visit places in the city. His English is excellent, and we liked him very much. Our safari guide was Good Luck, who has extensive safari experience and always managed to take us to the closest points to the animals for photos. He is very familiar with the geography of various national parks and could immediately react and drive us to the spots where animals were reported on the radio.
When my companion lost their passport during the trip, Davies and Good Luck promptly and proactively helped us find it. The people of Tanzania are so warm and friendly, and this land left us with endless emotions and deep memories. I believe Serengeti Green Tanzania Company is definitely worth choosing and trusting.

We were all very happy with our choice of African Big Cats Safari! Excellent service+great people!
I booked this tour for our family (parents and grown up kids). We have never been on safari and were all excited. Before choosing African Big Cats Safaris, I have been in touch with 2 tour operators with European owners. Then I looked for local operators because I thought it would be better to fully support local businesses. I came across African Big Cats Safaris because of their excellent reviews on the web. So I contacted them and was amazed by their responsiveness and support right from the first contact. In addition, they offered better prices for what I thought looked like better lodges than the other tour operators I have contacted. My first contact, William, was a very nice, experienced and responsive person in planning our safari. After we have decided on the route, Naomi took over and dealt with all adminsitrative issues (also in a very kind and responsive manner). When we arrived in Kilimanjaro airpiort, we were picked up by our safari guide, David. He was a great safari guide thoughout the whole tour and we all enjoyed very much to have him with us all the time (and had a lot of fun with him). He is very experienced and knows a lot about the country, the people and the nature/animals over there. If you choose a tour operator, I strongly recommend that you look for tour operators that only work with experienced drivers with many years of experience (as African Big Cats Safaris does) as driving/being in the bush requires experienced drivers. After our first breakfast in Arusha, Emanuel, the managing director of African Big Cats Safaris, met with us and discussed the tour and all questions we had. He also is a very nice, kind and friendly guy and it was great that he took the time to meet with us (he also met us after our tour at the airport to hear about our experinces and was eager to understand whether we see any areas for improvement!). The tour and the lodges were excellent and we all will never forget this trip. We highly recommend African Big Cats Safarai and would - without any doubt - book a tour with them again! Thank you to the whole team of African Big Cats Safais for this experience! One recopmmendation if you haven't planned your tour yet: Be aware of the long distances between the various parks/lodges. If you have the flexibility, it may be worth considering a one way trip from Arusha to Serengeti and then take a plane from there to your next desitination (e.g. Sansibar). This way, you have only half of the distance and have less time on the road (transfer time) and more time in the lodges which really were beautiful. One last comment: We have never been in Tanzania before and were all amazed by the natural friendliness and hospitality of the people! This really was an experience for all of us.

Lokal Operator
We booked a 13-day safari with polecat. We spent 4 days in Zanzibar and 9 days on safari in Tanzania. Our guide was Manfred. Manfred did an incredibly good job. He knew an incredible amount about all the animals, the individual peoples and the country. There was no question he could not answer. He was always in a good mood and made our days wonderful. I would advise everyone who books with polecat and wants to support a local provider to ask for Manfred as a guide, then your safaris will be a complete success

Brandon is great with our requests and planned our bookings in three different lodges .
It was first time for our family of three visiting Kruger park areas from Vancouver BC Canada. We like to learn the local culture and do safari . Brandon ‘ company helped us booked lodges with great accommodation, food and experienced safari guides. He also provide us one of the best local safari guide to Kruger park. The half day in Kruger park , our guide already showed us the big five. It gave us a glimpse of what we will see more on the private reserve of other lodges.
It was truly amazing experience for our first S Africa trip.

Very professional, extremely friendly and helpful, and very detail-oriented and thorough.
We (me and my brother's family, in total 4 adults) recently visited Kenya and used the services of Africa Keys for complete planning and arrangement of our trip. Since this was our first trip to Africa, we didn't have much idea about the region (except that we want to spend most of our time in Masai Mara), the facilities available, the places to visit, potential activities, and the number of days we should spend at each stop, etc. Africa Keys was able to recommend and advise us regarding the places we should visit, various options available, suggest an itinerary that fits our schedule, and arranged all the accommodation/food (hotels/camps) throughout the trip. Starting from when we landed at Nairobi, and spending time at Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Aberdare National Park, we had a vehicle and a fantastic guide (David) to our disposal throughout the trip (10 days in total). David was all along with us, taking us for numerous game-drives (twice a day), and making sure that we could watch all the animals that graze through Masai Mara, and enjoy some of the lion prides, cheetah coalitions, leopards, elephants, wild buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, hippos, crocs, and many others. Most importantly, David showed us the great migration, where we saw hundreds of thousands of wildebeests moving together (having crossed the borders from Serengeti) throughout the Masai Mara national reserve. It was a scene that can't be described in words but has to be experienced. Our stay at the "Olive Bush Camp" inside the Masai Mara National Reserve facilitated multiple game drives and allowed us to watch animals from dawn to dusk but giving ample time to have lunch and rest between 11am-2pm, when the animals tend to hide in the shade because of warmer temperatures. We also saw numerous wild animals and beautiful birds at the Nairobi, Nakuru, and the Aberdare national parks. The trip was adequately interleaved with visits to the Masai Village, interaction with the local Masai people, a balloon ride (which allowed us to get a birds-eye-view of the vast African savanna along with the animals), a stop at the Kenya-Tanzania border, and a stop at the Equator, which happens to cross through Kenya.
In summary, it was truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. Many thanks to Aparajita and her excellent team for helping us have a fantastic and memorable African Safari experience (absolutely money's worth). Keep up the good work! We certainly plan to recommend Africa Keys to our friends and families, and plan to avail their services for our future trips to Africa.

Amazing tour - highly recommended
We booked a Materuni waterfall, hot springs and coffee tour with Safari soles. We had an incredible experience on this tour! Everything was exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Our guide Alex was excellent—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. The insights provided into Tanzanian culture and nature were both fascinating and enriching.
The tour offered great value for money, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for the beauty and diversity of Tanzania. If you're considering a tour in Arusha area, this one is a must-do!
