JARTAN...A tribute to Africa
Our trip was fabulous and quite diversified between the tribes and animals of this beautiful country. We were on a 19-day safari, there were 10 in our group, and we traveled in both Kenya and Tanzania.
We learned about tribal culture, plants, and animals.
Our trip leader, Jartan, shared his time and knowledge with all of us. Even though we were strangers prior to this trip, he made it possible for us to become a "team"...sharing all.
My initial desire was the safari and the animals, but Jartan made meeting the tribal people one of my fondest memories.

Great Company catered in every way
We had a wonderful time with African Adventure Vacations and Stanley our driver and care taker. Every hotel we stayed at was wonderfully furnished and equipped. We were fed beyond what we could eat. There was never any confusions, hiccups, NOTHING WENT WRONG in the slightest. Stanley made sure to point out sites along our trip and explain things. Every place we visited, we were practically hand held to know where to go and what to do for the best experience possible. We saw Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chimpanzees, Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi. I wish we were able to spend more time in Uganda. I hope no one hesitates to visit this beautiful country. It is safe and the people are so welcoming. We went for the Gorillas, but enjoyed so much of Uganda thanks to Stanley and the tour company. Thank you Stanley and African Adventure Vacations for making this a trip of a lifetime.

Amazing African Safari
We had an 8 day tour through Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti & Maasai Mara. Overall the tour was 4/5 ⭐️ but I have broken down our tour below.
Guides: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had 2 guides, Francis in Tanzania and Thomas in Kenya and they were amazing. They were great about understanding our goals and ensure we had a great experience. Thomas specifically went out of his way every day to make sure we saw the great migration and river crossing. We were out all day and had an amazing experience.
Accommodation:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at the most amazing lodges where the service was great & food was exceptional.
Lake Manyara: Mandhari Lodge (my only negative is it was a LONG drive and very far off the main road)
Central Serengeti: Nyikani Seronera
Maasai Mara: Malaika Camp
Tour Operator: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall we had a good experience booking with Spirit of Kenya. However, the communication wasn’t what I would have expected. We received the tour details including accommodations and confirmed we would like to book in a timely matter, paid our deposit and then were told that 2/3 lodge’s originally discussed were not available. This was frustrating as this wasn’t communicated early.
Additionally I don’t believe Spirit of Kenya was direct and totally transparent in the process and ensuring our goals were met.

Best Kilimanjaro Hiking Experience
I could not speak more highly of Kilimanjaro Heroes.
My husband and I did a private guided tour of Kilimanjaro through the Lemosho route (7 days). And had the best experience!
We had 2 guides, Emanuel and David, and they were the most amazing guides. We loved hiking with them every day, they were extremely positive and knowledgeable.
Our chef, Himedi, was also fantastic and we were amazed at the quality (and quantity) of food we were able to enjoy every day. We couldn’t believe that type of food was possible while hiking.
We also had 8 of the best porters out there. It was great getting to know them and they were always so helpful!

Exciting tour trip in Africa
Very nice trip, good driver and guide Mr. Bandoosa, Accomodation is more then expected in both Serengeti and Tarangire, saw a lot of animals and beautiful land of Africa.

ll the staff met on the different tours (Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro safari * Lake Eyasi * Kilimanjaro: coffee plantation and waterfall) were delightful, helpful and attentive (I traveled with a 5 year old girl) superb chef

Great ideas and constantly helpful
This was the second trip Kerry has organised for us and we were delighted again. She made great recommendations where we needed them, and happily supported aspects of the trip where we were making our own plans within a larger group. Overall our arrangements were somewhat complex and changeable, and Kerry was unfailingly helpful, and patient, in helping us manage everything. Her involvement made us feel supported and comfortable throughout and we are very grateful.

Professional handling and adherence to agreements.
You could tell that the guide loves what he does. He had a wealth of knowledge about the animals and was happy to share it.
