Very nice

A precious game drive with a local Masai guide
Many people travel in search of something out of the ordinary. I am one of them.
When I chose this safari tour, my first requirement was to say in a lodge with a view of Mt.Kilimanjaro. My second requirement was that it was a private tour.
I searched for tours on the following website: https://www.safaribookings.com/tours.
Among the nearly 200 tours available, there was one that included a balloon safari.
Mornigstar Safaris
https://www.safaribookings.com
Reservation for the August tours are filling up fast.
When I didn’t know how to enter the information required to pay the bill, they quickly send me an email to explain. It was very reassuring. Shortly after making the reservation, I was informed that the lodge I had planned to stay at was fully booked and that another lodge had been provisionally reserved. At first I was really disappointed. However, when I looked into it, I found that it was a very attractive lodge, with a view of Kilimanjaro from all rooms, and many Masai people working there. Moreover, the tour price was reduced by 42US dollars. Thank you for your consideration so that the quality of the tour would not drop. In Nairobi, a large-scale demonstration against tax increases and corruption was held one week before the tour started. Watching the live footage made me quite uneasy. I immediately emailed Morningstar Safaris to ask about the current situation, I was relived to receive a prompt reply.
Before I knew it, the first day of my tour had arrived. I thought the car that picked me up at the hotel in Nairobi would be a safari car, but it was a luxury Toyota sedan. The driver, Simon, told me that we would change to the safari car at Amboseli National Park, At the hotel where I was staying, I met William Sunte, a local guide and driver in Masai clothing. From here, we headed to the safari park. The game drive in safari car started. Sunte moved the car skillfully so that I could take pictures of animals.
I told him that I wanted to lions and tusker elephants with long tusks. While I was having lunch at Observation Hill, Sunte contacted a fellow driver and then took me a family of a dozen lions. I was very impressed and took lots of photos and videos.
On the way to his Masai village near the lodge, he guided me to an elephant with the largest tusks in East Africa. It was an exciting experience to go in a safari car on a path that only the local guide, the Masai people, knew.
At the Masai Village, Sunte’s brother guided me. I bought a few accessories. Although it was not for sale, he gave me his brothe’s Runge Pole. Naturally, Sunte knew Amboseli National Park inside and out, and thanks to him, I was able to take thousands of memorable photos and videos. It was my first experience to ride a hot air balloon. Moreover, I was able to see many animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and Thompson’s gazelles from a different angle in the scenery that quietly flowed below. It is an attraction that I recommend you to experience at least once. The champagne after landing with the fellow passengers was the best. My two-night, three-day game drive was much more than I expected. It is a trip that is not easy to come, so I recommended choosing a reliable safari tour company. I stopped by the Morningstar Safaris office twice and was treated very friendly. I really appreciate the lovely Masai blanket that I received as a souvenir from Morningstar Safaris.
When I visit Kenya again, I will rely on Morningstar Safaris to provide me with the best, safest and most comfortable trip possible. Thank you for all your help. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be surrounded by wild animals for these three days. I feel that my everyday life in Tokyo was something out of the ordinary, and it made my life after returning home more enjoyable.
Asante sana.

Amazing and unforgettable
5/5

How about a dream come true? When we decided to opt for the 10-days safari with Topy Tours, we were mainly attracted by the amazing itinerary proposed (roundle circle to Arusha via Tarangire, Ngorongoro, South Serengeti, Central Serengeti, North Serengeti, Lake Natron and Lake Manyara) and honestly also by the great reviews it already have.

Reality exceeded expectations: panoramic views, significant stops on the way to learn more about tanzanite and ebony carving, a lot of animals and discovery. Not only the Big Five, but also serval cats and caracals (almost impossible to detect) and the remarkable show of the Great Migration at the Masa River in North Serengeti.

All this natural spectacles came with a great organization and a great driver and guide (Naaman), who took care of us all along the route and was always available with his kindness to further information and explanations. The guide is English-speaking, but in case of need for translation in your home language, Topy will provide a pretty fluent translator for the main languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese…)

Thanks Topy Tours for made this journey unforgettable!

Our guides were a lot of fun and very organized
5/5

Rocky was great to work with. He was very helpful and shared great information about the animals, plants and the culture of Botswana. The tour was very smooth and everything happened as planned. Our chef, Vanise, made tasty and healthy meals.
In Moremi, we had elephants in the canal by our campsite. Two elephants even came through our camp as were finishing dinner.

Wonderful safari with Joaquim and Innocent
5/5

We entrusted safari moja Matata with the organization of our safaris in Mikumi, Nyerere and also in Zanzibar. The 3 safaris were wonderful and very well organized. We warmly thank our French guide Joaquim who made us discover the wonders of Mikumi and Selous. We also thank Hamis who took over on Zanzibar and of course Leopard Matata and Innocent who were able to organize everything for us. A great team! If you want to book a safari, do not hesitate to contact this company which is very serious, attentive to the customer and at a good price.

Samwel and his team were very hospitable and make our trip extraordinary
5/5

We got a great value for money and serelyne is a reliable tour operator. Our trip was planned last minute and Samwel went out of the buy to help us book our flights at a reasonable price and also arrange our stay and safari . Both samwel and Stefan were there to greet us at the airport and then they were our companions for 3 days . They both also made sure we see the great migration and took all efforts to plan the same . It will be a lifetime experience and memorable for us .

Exceeded all our expectations! Can’t recommend enough ❤️
5/5

My husband and I visited Victoria Falls Zimbabwe in August 2024 for 4 nights. Tatenda and all the employees at Cuckoo safari’s just excel in professionalism and customer service by making you feel like you’re a good friend visiting and not just a client! I didn’t want to do a set 3,4 or 5 day adventure but rather piece meal a few activities that really interested me. I emailed Cuckoo directly with my three activity request and they responded quickly, answering all my questions that came up in the months before we traveled and showed up on time and truly made our time in Victoria Falls one of our top vacations and we’ve traveled to over 60 countries ❤️

I actually found this company via TripAdvisor. They are the only company that I could find that offer a walking tour of Victoria Falls from both sides (Zambia and Zimbabwe). If we were going to fly all the way to Zimbabwe, I wanted the full Victoria Falls experience and Cuckoo delivered!! They reminded me to get the multi entry visa at the airport to make it easy to get to and from Zambia, drive us to immigration at the bridge, walked us in, walked us to our Zambia guide who then drove us to the Zambia entrance. Excellent knowledge by both guides and awe inspiring falls! Our Zambia guide asked if we wanted to drive back to Zimbabwe or walk across the bridge so we walked and watched a bungee jumper. Once the tour was complete we asked if they could drop us off at the Lookout Cafe and I highly recommend this restaurant for the view! It’s a short drive from the Zimbabwe entrance to Victoria falls.

That same evening I booked the Signature Deck sunset cruise through Cuckoo. Wow! Great seats for the two of us on the boat and the pick up and drop off at our hotel was so smooth and easy.

The last activity I booked through Cuckoo was the small group day tour to visit Chobe in Botswana. The driver was there on time and this town is magical! Just driving to the boarder which takes about an hour you see wildlife ❤️ Giraffes, Kudu’s, Elephants!! I know it’s never guaranteed to see wildlife but we were lucky! Once at the boarder the driver went with us through immigration explained everything and then walked us across the border where the Botswana driver and guide picked us up. All vehicles were clean and in good condition.

In Chobe we did a 3 hour river safari tour and saw hippos, lizards, baboons, elephants so many animals ❤️ the boat was small an only seats 16 max but because we went during “winter” which is a slower season it was only us and a family of 3 on the boat. The boat driver got us so close to a crocodile at first we there was a fake one they put out for the tourists 😂 Nope he was huge and so close! There were a lot of bigger boats on the river but the small boat could maneuver into the best areas for closer views. Our lunch was at a nice hotel on the water and then we were off on our 3 hour game drive in Chobe National park. Excellent guide/driver who showed us so much!

This company is not the cheapest but they make sure that the partners they work with give you an amazing quality experience! It’s a vacation we will treasure and can’t thank Cuckoo enough!!

Kojuu Safaris is committed to customer satisfaction and willing to go extra miles to serve
5/5

This is the first time we went to Tanzania for Safari. We are very glad that we chose Kojuu Safaris to help us arrange this Safari trip. With their help, the trip was excellent and memorable.

Right start from the first contact with Judith, she was very responsive and professional. Judith is very knowledgeable. She could provide with all the insights about how to plan the itinerary, as well as recommendations on different accommodations. We at first were not sure of which hotels to stay in, she was able to provide us her thoughts on different experiences with different accommodation choices, so we could choose based on our preferences. The accommodations we ended up staying all exceeded our expectations, thanks to Judith’s advice. Judith is also super responsive to all my questions about anything regarding safari. Sometimes, I could be an annoying client due to my attention to very subtle details. But Judith kept patient and replied to my every smallest question. As she was pregnant later and her condition didn’t allow her to be as responsive as before, she even asked her colleague Anitha as her backup to help us. Anitha is the same responsive and responsible as Judith is. It is their tireless help and support that made our trip to be successful and memorable.

What touched me the most is Kojuu Safaris’s commitment to serve their customers and willing to go extra miles to make sure their customers to be well taken care of. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport, our luggage were missing from our flight. The luggage had all our clothes in them, which made my wife super concerned. While this was not Kojuu’s responsibility, Judith managed to get our luggage the second day and delivered to us the third day morning, with no extra charge. Her help minimized the impact of this incident to our trip. Another example is that our friends left one day before us in the afternoon, so they needed to stay with us in the hotel before they leave for airport. Judith was so kind to offer buying them lunch, so they could eat together with us. This shows how caring Judith was.

I would also like to give a special shout out to our guide Harun. He has over 10 years experience of being a safari guide. He is super knowledgeable and He also has eagle eyes. He could spot animals when we don’t even have a clue. For instance, he spotted a serval while he was driving and immediately pointed to us, so we were able to see this hard to find small cat. In Ngorongoro, he pointed to a small black dot far away and told us that was a rhino. We were able to confirm that with our binoculars and high zoom camera. We were amazed on how he could spot that with his bare eyes. Harun also kept our preference in his mind and tried his best to make us satisfied. With his help, we were able to collect the big 5 within the first several days of our safari. We were even able to see a leopard with her cub which is very rare to see. After successfully collecting the big five, Harun knows that we are interested in Cheetahs and river crossing, so he made every effort to find those and bring them in front of our eyes. With his help, we saw cheetahs couple of times (one time mama cheetah with her cub and another time two brothers) and an extraordinary river crossing. Harun’s commitment to customer satisfaction made our first safari trip to be so wonderful. We would highly recommend him to anybody!

When we planned our trip, we thought it was a once in a lifetime experience only. But now, we can’t wait coming back in a couple of years for another visit. This is all because Judith, Anitha and Harun and the entire Kojuu safaris crew. Their commitment to excellence and focus on customer satisfaction made our trip spectacular. Thanks to Kojuu, and we will be back!
