Would book again with Jambo Masai

Your experience - 10/10

We found a tour package from Jambo Masai on safari bookings.com. Contacted them on WhatsApp and they even adjusted the tour to activities we wanted to do.

Before the safari, communication with Jambo Masai was always quick and easy to understand. Giving us a list of things to prepare for the safari - we didn’t really need any more than that.

During the tour, we joined with another tour company in the same vehicle, Travel To Africa, as we had similar tour schedules. Our tour guide Miraje was amazing! You’ll be lucky to get him. He was very informative, and a super driver!

From hearing other tourists’ safari prices, I discovered ours was the best deal - especially for budget camping. I felt our 6 day safari was great value for the experience we got.

The chefs were amazing cooks too! Made delicious buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. I even requested them to make ugali and they did for the next dinner.

The camping experience was incredible! We found it more comfortable than sleeping in a hot room. Definitely choose to camp if you like the outdoors. They provide the mattress and sleeping bag - just bring a hoodie and joggers to sleep in for the colder night.

The shared tour was also very fun! More eyes to spot things too.

Overall, I would book with Jambo Masai again if I were to go on a safari! They also organise other experiences so just contact them and im sure they’ll accommodate. Thank you to everyone who made our experience incredible!

Amazing experience
5/5

We were recommended mountain warriors after a family member had used them and we were searching for a safari tour. Gasto was really patient with ALL of my questions and answered everything. Sometimes replies are slow and you need to chase but everything comes together. On the safari, we had John as our guide. John is really knowledgeable and shares lots of information with you which just enhances the experience. We had seen 3 of the big 5 but on day 3 John made it his mission to find rhino and we saw not one but two rhinos and a further two laying down. We wanted to change plans on the last day and the team were really accommodating with us. I’d highly recommend anybody looking at mountain warriors to be your guides. We always felt safe and well looked after and had a great time.

The whole trip was a success, thanks to the choice of itinerary and an exceptional guide and driver.
5/5

Globally a very good experience.
We did not expect to such wonderful and perfectly maintained landscape, nor to discover so many animals and such a diversity of species.
All lodges were comfortable and we were extremely welcomed by the staff. Particularly remarkable is the Tarangire lodge with stunning view and a nice swimming pool.
We were surprised by the fact that the person with whom we arranged all the trip never came to meet and welcome us upon arrival in Arusha. However his job to organize was good.
Also surprised by the fact that for the night safari, the expected ranger never came, after 20’ waiting for him, thus exposing us to more danger.

About: Safari360
What a wonderful safari - big five, check
5/5

What a wonderful time we have on our safari with Witson from Safari360. We were picked up and spent the next four days in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. What a amazing experience for us, a family of 5, being alone with our guide in the jeep for a few days. We saw elephants and giraffes passing by at arms length, lions eating breakfast in the morning. We almost got stuck in the mud at one time but the excellent guide fixed that too. That was also a experience for us. We saw the black rhino in Ngorongo Crater, lions casually sleeping at the side of the road. We managed to spot a cheetah far away and also a leopard relaxing in a tree. All this would not have been possible with a guide like Witson, who knew where to drive and look. The whole package was really good, from the food packages we hade every day to the accommodations we had in Serengeti and outside of the parks. We especially like the "Tukaone Serengeti Camps", where you sleep in tent-like houses in the national park. In the night we heard both lions and other animals that was passing by outside our room. My best possible recommendation to this company and our guide Witson.

Memorable and Beautiful :-)
5/5

Super great experience, We were so lucky to have David as our guide, the facility we stayed at had just the right amount of goodness and comfortability and even tho we picked the budget package, we slept super well and ate home cooked and fine.
I can recommend, and it doesn’t feel like your sacrificing much on the budget experience. If you don’t mind some chickens around, all is well!!

Birding Safari
5/5

As SubaşıKuş Birding Team, we did birding 9 days in the best national parks of Kenya.
We visited Masai Mara National Reserve, Nakuru Lake NP, Hell's Gate NP, Naivasha Lake NP, Nairobi NP, Amboseli NP, Tsavo West and East NP.

We were in constant contact with Grace and she prepared a nice itinerary for us. Our drivers Peter and Steve did a good job. Although there were some minor shortcomings, we did not experience anything that negatively affected the overall trip.

The hotels and camps we stayed in were very nice.

We identified 368 bird species during the trip. We also saw many butterflies, reptiles and mammals, including the big five.

We recommend Dosasha Tours and Safaris.

Very Professional, safe and reliable
5/5

Eco Adventure Safari is the gold standard of professionalism in Uganda. Great tour/lodge suggestions, great cars/drivers, safe and reliable at all times and wonderful nature experiences with the chosen guides/trackers and guards. We did 10 days Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and Chimpanzees in the south-western national parks very close to DRC and Rwanda. Mastermind behind all this organizing, coordinating and following up was Patrick from Ecosafari - big 🙏🤗

Amazing safari in Hwange, Zimbabwe
5/5

Our guide Muza collected us (me and two friends) from Victoria Falls airport. From there Muza handled everything (accommodation, food, safari drives, ...). We visited the painted dogs reservoir, spent one full day in Hwange, visited a local family, and spent some time around the falls.
We didn't have much time so the trip was quite short but it was worth it. This definitely won't be my last safari with Muza :)

3-Day Maasai Mara Safari with Kids
5/5

We are just on our way back from a 3 day Maasai Mara Safari with Axis Africa. We have had an amazing trip and will remember this for a lifetime.

I was unsure if taking three kids (6, 6 and 18months) was a crazy thing to do but from first enquiries we were reassured we would be well taken care of. We upgraded last minute to a private safari to avoid stressing other travellers and this took the stress off us as parents. The price was also very reasonable compared to other companies I had seen advertised.

Our guide Jack was a dream. He took such good care of us and the kids. His local connections and love of the area were clear to see. He explained all of the animals we saw for us and made things interesting for the kids and made sure we got to see as much as possible on our trip. He also made us feel completely at ease when the kids were throwing a tantrum or we were running late and trying to hurry the kids along. He ordered lunches for us for picnics and collected them when we were behind schedule and found us seats in restaurants while we were still getting the kids out of the jeep.

If you are on the fence about taking kids on Safari, get in touch with Axis Africa and they will put your mind at ease. Thank you Jack for everything over the last couple of days and thanks to Axis Africa for organising the trip of a lifetime for us.
