I'd like to give Tanzania Choice Safaris 10 STARS! If only that were an option. This was a professional, thorough, mind boggling, safari experience designed specifically for our interest in wildlife, scenery, cultural and agricultural experiences. On our three nation trip, we prioritized companies that were locally owned since much that happens in the safari world is done by by companies from abroad. Brenda worked with us to provide everything we were looking for and more! Our main guide for this 2 wk Tanzania tour, Noel, is arguably the best-of-the-best! -- Nothing but praise for Noel! Noel had an agreeable personality an easy laugh, an admirable work ethic, and was brimming with knowledge about the wonders of Tanzania. He came preparred, just in case, with several local nature guides to look up details about some birds and plants we were interested in. Everything Tanzania Choice Safaris arranged met or exceeded our very high expectations. I lost count of the animals and birds -- sooo many! The scenery was sublime: from dry grassy plains, to picturesque rocky outcroppings, large lakes, rivers, marshes big and small, mountains and forests. We learned about growing spices, coffee, fruits and vegetable, and about tribes and traditional and adaptive ways of living in todays world. We even made coffee by hand without machines from bean to brewing! I would also like to commend Cholow (forgive my inventive spelling of his name) who helped us navigate three locations in Zanzibar. He provided information about the culture and wildlife. He was on time (except for a minimal delay due to a flat tire once) He was also professional and informative. The company owner, Brenda, met us partway through and surprised two of us with gifts of Tanzanian crafts since we were on safari as birthday gifts to ourselves. Per our request, Brenda helped us arrange a visit to a music school, a dance performance, dance and drumming lessons, a fascinating day on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro having a cultural tour of Tanzania's Wachagga tribe -- a woman owned experience about their history, food, agriculture, cooking, and their adaptations to the 21st century. Our tour operator was overal really sweet and also had a lot of information about Uganda!
Uganda was Probably one of the best experiences me and my family had ever had! We live in the Netherlands so seeing so many animals, the views and especially the culture was really something else, and totally worth it! Everyone was so kind and welcoming every time we arrived at another beautiful destination. Every single penny we spend on the trip and during the trip was definitely worth it! Definitely an recommandation and hopefully we’ll go there again!

Incredible life changing experience
We had an amazing safari tour of the Serengeti and ngorongoro crater! We loved our tour guide Alex he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We saw so many animals in just 3 days! It was truly a spectacular experience, I wish we were there for longer.

Our safari in Tanzania was absolutely unforgettable. We spotted the Big Five and also the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest. The communication with the tour operator was excellent; they ensured a flawless experience. Gilbert, our guide, was fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the safari even more special. He knew exactly where to take us to see the best wildlife. Overall, this adventure exceeded our expectations. 5* experience in Tanzania but Kenya partnership was less positive
I booked a 9 day private safari tour across Kenya and Tanzania with Unlimited Expeditions Soul of Tanzania.
From the start things were absolutely terrific - our journey designer Filipa wowed us with her responsiveness, helpfulness, knowledge, flexibility, and patience in answering every single question we had.
Our safari experience in Tanzania across North and Central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater also exceeded our expectations. Our guide Azaria was very professional, knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and caring. He made sure we had everything we needed and more! And he also took note of what we were interested in seeing and found us all the animals we were looking for! We were really impressed by his knowledge of the animals, their living patterns, and beyond that about the plants and the cities and towns we drove through. Every lodge that we stayed was also great - from the ambiance, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the food.
The only part of the trip we felt could have been improved was our experience in Kenya, which was delivered by Spirit of Kenya (a partner tour agency). While the lodge and the park were great, the guide (Sami) left much to be desired as he barely provided us with any information, and the entire experience felt rushed with him impatient to be done with us! It’s possible we were just unlucky with the guide we were assigned.
Overall though it was a really great experience and we would definitely book a Tanzania safari again!

Excellent Tour to Fullfil Bucket List Dream of African Safari
This was a bucket list trip, and it was amazing. Patrick was our guide, and he was awesome. He knew so much about animals and their behavior, plants, and trees. We would tell him something we wanted to see, and it was like he ordered it up for us. He knew exactly where to go with the jeep to get the best view even in a crowd of jeeps.
We saw a cheetah resting beside the road in the shade. It got up, walked through the field to stand on a termite mound posing for pictures and looking for prey. Within minutes it chased down and killed a Thomson’s Gazelle. We saw lions mating and two lions work together to make a kill. It was amazing to see the circle of life with these animals. We saw cheetahs, leopards, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, ostrich, crocodile, baboons, blue monkeys, mongoose, dik-dik, waterbuck, snake and a monitor. It is so beautiful to see these animals in their habit than in a zoo.
We really enjoyed our accommodations, especially the Maramboi Tented Lodge and Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. I have to say I was not really thrilled about staying in a tent before the trip. It turns out they were our favorite, and we slept so well those nights. You felt like you were sleeping in nature but in luxury. The outdoor shower at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge was a nice with a view of the Serengeti landscape.
The roads are dirt and sand with ruts and rocks within the parks and driving to the Serengeti. We had a flat tire after traveling on a very rocky portion of road. Patrick had the tire changed in no time, and we were back on the road. We saw many jeeps with flat tires along the way. It was all part of the experience.
We highly recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions 8 Days Safari Tarangire Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro tour. If you want a great guide, ask for Patrick. He will take care of you and your family. You will go home with many great memories.

Amasing Safari
The Safari was very well organized. The day before, the guys from the company met us at the hotel and did a briefing where they explained to us what the next 3 days would be like. The jeep was comfortable, always with water and a place to charge your cell phone. Delicious and varied meals throughout the day. The guide was always helpful and attentive in making our experience incredible. Finally, the accommodation in the glamping tents was fabulous, making the experience even more unforgettable.

The best Safari choice.
Everything was perfect, with no mistakes, no errors, no problems, excellent organization.
The staff is really kind, since before the safari starts, the driver was really good and the food was really amazing (real good food).
The midrange accommodation choosen by Suricata Safaris is fantastic. Perfect for rest after a long day.

It was wonderful and we had great moments watching the animals - the way you always find the hiding places and the animals is great. The luxury camps were very nicely chosen and we were able to relax very well after the day trips. A great experience travelling with you through the national parks in Tanzania!
