Horrible experience with Apodiformes Adventures, can't recommend
We had a very bad experience with Apodiformes Adventures.
The communication and booking process prior to the tour was very smooth, up until it was time to pay the second part of the tour price in cash at pickup. After that, everything changed drastically. First of all, the game drive vehicle they provided was very different from what was promised. It was much much older and extremely uncomfortable. All other game drive jeeps we saw were much more modern & comfortable so we felt that the company tried to save money here, even though their tour is advertised as a luxury tour.
I asked Apodiformes Adventures about this but they ignored my messages!
Our safari guides (which were arranged by Apodiformes Adventures) told us that they only received our booking a day before our arrival, despite us booking several months before with Apodiformes Adventures, which is why they were not prepared for us. Also, our safari guides picked us up in Nairobi & had no idea how to get out of the city, which lead us to drive around for hours within Nairobi, before I had to give them my phone, as their Google Maps did not work properly. I contacted Apodiformes Adventures several times during this & they did not reply.
Also, we were sold a masai village tour through Apodiformes, which felt extremely unethical and like a scam to us. We paid 90 USD for being shown around a village for 10 minutes and later harrased to buy little magnets for 25 USD per piece. Once again, when we contacted our tour operator about this, they did not reply. It again seemed to us that everything goes very smooth up until you've paid the second part of the payment in person at the start of the tour.
The "luxury" lodge they booked for us had no idea we would be 3 people, since apparentely the tour operator failed to communicate this to them, which lead to another problem at room configuration at check-in, which took nearly one hour to resolve in order for us to get the extra bed in an already tiny room, since they had no other rooms available. I've taken 3 safaris in Africa, this one was by far the worst & I can only warn people against wasting your precious vacation with a tour operator that is quite seemingly not taking bookings seriously anymore.

Excellent!
The Kruger Safari Co. was excellent at booking my stay and transportation to/from Elephant Plains Lodge. Communication was timely and concise. Airport transportation was excellent- the driver was on time, safe, and friendly. The lodge was terrific and we had an experience of a lifetime. I would recommend The Kruger Safari Co for any of your South Africa travel needs. I will definitely be using them again for future travel.

Amazing and unforgettable Safari with Topy Tours!
We had an amazing time and experience with Topy Tours! From the first quotation to the start of the safari, the communication with Jackson was excellent. We received answers to all our questions quickly, and he was very helpful. All the lodges and facilities were well maintained and exceeded our expectations. But above all, our guide Amour did an amazing job. He was very kind, helped us with all our questions, and introduced us to a bit of the Tanzanian lifestyle! We were very glad to have him with us this week. The whole Topy Tours team ensured that we had a wonderful experience, and I would recommend them to everyone!

Very good accommodation during safaris
We did the 4-Day Mid-Range Lodge Group Tour package in August24. Communication via email and WhatsApp worked very well. At the beginning of the tour we had some setbacks. We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport and the transfer was not waiting for us. However, I contacted the agency via WhatsApp and the problem was quickly resolved. The transfer took us to the hotel that was included in our reservation, but there was no reservation in our name either. I contacted the agency again via WhatsApp and they apologized for the confusion, because we would be staying in another hotel. Then another transfer arrived to take us to the correct hotel. The next day the safari started and everything went well. Suricata Boma Lodge and Ang'ata Serengeti Camp are wonderful. Even though we had some problems at the beginning, the agency responded quickly and resolved all the problems, which is why I gave it 5 stars.

Very well organised and responsive
We found the trip to be well organised with no hiccups. The food was great and so much of it! We had a great time and our guide/driver didn’t tire of us asking him to stop. I liked to variety of places we visited and overall I think the trip offered great value for money. We didn’t get to go to the Mara river but I would recommend that if time allows.

Value for money with great service.
I am so glad to have booked my Mount Kenya hike through Hyrax Safaris. Emmah gave me plenty of information and was always quick to respond. The team, which consisted of Daniel, Kim, Douglas, John, and Morris, looked after us amazingly the whole time and made the experience unforgettable. The memories created will be with me for a lifetime and it wouldn't have been possible without Hyrax Safaris.

Wow just amazing!!
Our itinerary
ZNZ > ARUSHA> Serengeti/Drove from
Serengeti to The Crater/ Drove from the Crater to Arusha and flew back to ZNZ
Serengeti African Tours was more than just safari. Not only did we see all the big five but we saw all of the wonderful big cats in the park including a pile of cheetah brothers! Long story short, best company in the game.
My husband booked it for our honeymoon. Serafina was the nicest and most communicative contact for booking and travel arrangements. They allowed us to do 40% down and the rest upon arrival.
We flew into Arusha and then to Serengeti where the best and funniest guide Christian picked us up promptly with a hot lunch. They even put a special sign on the spare tire just for our honeymoon. We left the gate and immediately saw some game. One the first day Christian was able to locate four of the big five for us. He was so nice and informative. He made the long hours in the truck pass like minutes.
For dinner they took us to the Serena Lodge in Serengeti where we were greeted with superb service and comfort and more great food. The views were absolutely breathtaking.
We the embarked on day 2 with Christian ready to go bright and early to scope some more game and then head to Ngoro Ngroro Crater. Along the way Christian let us know about the environment and the beautiful local Maasai Tribe. We checked into the Serena lodge there and once again treated superbly. It’s cold so bring layers.
In the crater we saw the rhinos. We even got to see a mama and a calf. Christian made sure we didn’t miss them. He even offered to take our pictures and made sure we weren’t always behind the camera.
I knew they were the best at what they do, when Precision Air delayed one of flights and we were worried about our connecting flight out of Arusha. Immediately Serafina worked her magic and got us on an earlier flight to compensate for the delay. We truly felt like family.
I can’t wait to recommend them to all my friends and come back when my boys are old enough.
